U can defiantly find whatever meat ure looking for in this big & clean store.Including goat head. Theyre s a lg selection to choose from plus a deli case full. A variety of fish, small paks or lg paks. Some veggies & fruits. Staff are nice & ready to assist u.

Always fresh and hard to find cuts of meat.

Very clean and smelled clean not like rotting food or garbage like most meat stores. Thats why I choose house of meats. And they are always friendly. Although it gets a bit busy and the only down side was 1 register open but all in all great meats great prices and clean. Will return a me recommend to anyone.

This is true shopping on a budget. I mostly eat chicken or beef and seafood. I can get it all here. Even fresh produce. I choose them because its always fresh chicken and beef. Family packs are 12 pieces of chicken for under 5.00. No joke. If youre in Tampa and not shopping here. Something is wrong. Im all about saving money. Go check them out. You will return. Always good service but the price they are charging now for chicken wings make me wonder what have they been smoking?! $16.00 for 3 pounds of chicken wings and that was a sale price .

For a place thats called House of meats I was greatly disappointed. I saw everything from chicken to goat meat. But when I inquired about purchasing something as simple as a bone in beef rib roast...nada, zero, zilch. I even asked one of the butchers about getting a bone in rib eye roast. He went in the back and returned 10mins later and said there was none. The store was wall to wall with people making various purchases but I left empty handed. So the moral of the story, dont expect that youll get the cut of meat you want if you go to a place called House of meats. But hey, dont get me wrong because if you went there to get a bag of pig ankles or goat tails theyll have it!

I asked for 10lb of chicken breast special $1.99 lb, now sign in meat case window, he put it on the scale then punched in 2.99lb so when i called him out on it he went and got some young blood from the back and started in spanish talking about the white lady didnt say that she said 2.99lb now this is not my regular store and theirs a sign plainly saying chicken breast buy 10lb and it $1.99lb so after about 4 more times hearing him talk bad about me the white lady customer, grant you iam white but my husband and children and grandchildren are mexican and honderious i seek very very good spanish and i understand it also, so as I told them both in spanish so everyone that understood spanish not english herd and understood that the white lady gave him the proper order from the sign in the meat case window from the beginning off their sign. Were was the problem to begin with and why did he try to rip me off a $1.00 a pound and if their was a comunication problem because i ask for my order in english he should have said so from the beginning instead of embarrassing me with all the other customers their and making such a big show about the whole thing and not talk about customers in spanish thinking they dont understand, very very rude and reminber humans are all equal good way to show it

Over all its good. I just saw that no paper towels was available to wipe your hands when you put the meat in a plastic bag because it wet. Other than that pretty good.

Fantastic selection. The packages are hard to beat. You get the whole farm for 150$. Also its a one stop shop for Spanish ingredients at an amazing price. Highly recommend! Easy to find everything, too.

Love this place..!

Workers have bad attitude. Reading the reviews on here feels like they are talking about another store. The meats have a very bad smell. The seasonings bare out of date always. Will never shop at this store again. Just pick up the chicken in the refrigerated aisle and you will smell a pungent aroma.

My husband went here and bought a bunch of meat. I noticed that it gives off an odor even in the freezer. The ground beef said lean on the package but no percentage was given and it didnt look all that lean. Tasted okay.The pork chops have an odd odor and taste like wild meat, akin to venison. I cant eat them as I hate the taste of wild meat. My guess is they get their pork chops from wild boar or something. Hopefully not sick pigs.You cant find any information on this place about where they get their meat and I would never shop there. I figure its scrap meat at best.

You can find meat here that you cant find at regular grocery stores. For me personally, its goat meat. Its a small grocery store, like you would find in the Caribbean.

Dont go to house of House of Meats expecting to be walking into The Fresh Market or you will be dispointed, but what they lack in apperance and ambiance they make up for in price. Their meat prices are rock bottom and I have never found cheaper prices on meat anywhere. What I normally buy there is the ground beef and it is definitely not lean but it does taste amazing. The ground beef is usually ground up daily and because of the extra fat has more flavor than any beef I have ever found. People always ask me what is the secret to my wonderful burgers, House of Meats baby!! Oh, did I mention it usually runs around $1.50 per lbs. Dont know how you can complain about that. Also the idiot who commented that the pork smells because it came from sick pigs make no sense. You cant tell if meat came from sick animal by the way it smells.

I have been there and nothing is wrong with there meats, in this world today people can barly feed their families it nice to still see you can buy good meat at a decent price
