Sandwiches are good but staff will keep you waiting the meat department is excellent the cashiers stay on their phones and seem to be annoyed

Decent prices on meats and other food products. The seasonings are a bit pricey but I understand why. Import/export costs etc.Overall I would go to this store for meats etc any day due to pricing and location!

I bought some ham and the deli woman put a price more than a dollar more than what was posted on the wall for the product. I told her about it and she said price on the wall is old. When checking out I mentioned it to the cashier. She got the manager who was very nice and priced it correctly. The deli worker and the manager both had their face exposed, no mask. When I mentioned that she said its up to the store how they want to handle it. I dont think so. Be careful here.

The store was fantastic to buy cheap bulk meats. All of the meat looked quite fresh making them like good deals. There were many options to choose while the price was even lower than it was in Walmart. However, the smell was disgusting and took all the breath away the first moment I entered the market.

The worst meat market in Tampa. The staff is extremely rude from the meat cutters to the cashiers. The meat cutters give you meat with freezer burn or expired. They do not wear mask nor display any type of customer service skills. I noticed they DO NOT treat the Spanish people the same. The meat is terrible and the service is worse, someone from the city should inspect the dirty market and if they can not treat everyone the same they should go to a different neighborhood and sale that bad meat. The previous owners were 100 times better

This is a great store, my first visit and they took such good care of me to explain how the menu works. The food looks amazing, I wanted to take some of everything. Great customer service here. Ask for Nina, she will treat you well and serve you a decent amount of food. Good prices, food and great service...

Great food...and wonderful assortment of meats and vegetables. Need to add Corona Premium to their beer selection. Love the spiked seltzer water by Bon & Viv. Highly recommend to anyone. Great neighborhood store. 5 Stars

Customer service great, but there food not so much, we got deviled crabs and some empanadas and the deviled crab was either old or not done right, and the empanadas tasted like if they were made a day ago, we went to go get fresh ones and still didn’t taste right or smell right, I won’t eat here

I went here for the first time just a couple weeks back. I bought 5lbs of hamburger meat. By far, the worst hamburger meat I have ever bought. I cooked up the hamburger meat and when it was done frying up, there was about 8oz of water/grease, and a handful of shriveled up brown something that had so much gristle in it, I didnt even want to eat it. Actually throwing out the remainder, and I promise you, I never waste food. This is not edible and I have no desire to eat it.

Terrible customer service. The prepared food corner is not prepared or knows customer service. You stand by it no one greets you and for example today the woman by coffee machine does not turn to see who is waiting for service intead she stands there looking at her cell phone and the mask is off her face while she prepared coffee..very unprofessional customer service. Not a place to go to.

Very friendly staff, good prices and the cook items are pretty good (a little pricey). I purchase ribs, shrimp, smoked meats. Smoked meat not that good, mostly fat and no meat on the bone. Maybe good for a soup bone but not really good for greens or beans.

Earns one star only because their produce is wonderful and always fresh. Ive been here numerous times for various odds and ends. Today, while standing in front of the store and awaiting a text from my roommate to tell me anything he needed from the store, I was confronted with such hostility by a man named Tony (I think). From his attitude Im guessing hes either the owner or manager. He came right up and told me you need to leave. You need to get away from the front of the store. I explained that I was going to be buying something from the store but he just kept repeating that I needed to get away from the store. Meantime, not even twenty feet away is a man with an open container asking people for money.Great produce or not, if you treat your customers like sh*t, youre never getting my business again.

The store was clean and I received professional service. The meat I purchased was extremely fresh and reasonably priced. FYI...They also have a hot bar. Parking is plentiful depending on the time of day, the location of the store is convenient and easy to find.

Im a regular customer, I teach at a school right down the street. All around, this place makes this neighborhood look a whole lot better... And yes, they are better than the last management!!! Great food!!!

Went In Today... My Husband Wanted a Quesadilla... No One Acknowledged Us as Customers. And We Had to Ask Somebody in the Back for Assistance. Then While We Were Waiting for the Quesadilla to be Made... My Husband Asked The Young Lady What Veggie Options He Could Add... And Her Response Was with an Attitude as If He Was Bothering Her. My Husband Was Then Offended and Decided to Cancel the Order. We Definitely Wont be Back.

This is the first time I visited this place and the staff is so courteous. They helped me to find everything I needed. If you are looking for Latin food, this is the right place and they have a great variety in meats.

Very poor sanitation. They dont clean any of their carts, nor do they follow any of the CDC social distancing guidelines. Youd think in this pandemic they would care more for their store and the community they service.

One stop shop found everything I needed here no need to go from store to store.. They have great food selections now, lunch specials etc. Theyve improved, but the only thing is that theyre not pricing all the items on the shelf.Its annoying to have to pick up items you might not want just to take it to the cashier to ask for pricing.

The service was horrible!!! I go in at 645pm to get a Cuban sandwich and I was told no mas! How is it you are closed at 8pm and I cant get a sandwich before 7pm? But soon after I walked away she waited on a Spanish person. If youre not Spanish you wont get treated nicely.

Never again! Didnt care much for the quality of meat, too much gristle in the hamburger and the pork chops had a lot of fat on them. A coupon I had to buy one get one was expired, so the man at the register told me. However I got that coupon earlier in the week so how it was already expired surprised me. The only thing that was worth it from there was the steak seasoning I got. Not the cleanest looking place either.

I wanted to purchase meat in the meat department. I asked thr man for a specific meat and from the other side of the counter thr gentleman spoke to me. If im purchasing i need to speak to you where the meat or item is located. Then he decided to make a nasty comment in spanish. In which i understood.

Old meat stay away! Spouse and I bought and consumed chicken from this place a couple of times and was sick for days afterwards. Last time being a week ago, finally pinpointed it to the meat from this store.Im totally reporting them to the health department.

Get the best meat for the best price in Tampa.Dont waste your money going to walmart or Publix to feed your family. Get more for your money at Foodtown. I got the 129.99 meat plan and it lasted my family 2 weeks and dont forget to try the Cuban sandwich. Man!!! Fully loaded 12in Cuban for $5 only.These guys sell at wholesale prices and I wish they can open in Atlanta and Louisiana so my family will enjoy it like Im doing.Thank you for the great service and keep its up.

I bought hamburger from there last week cooked it today and my kids had glass in there hamburger had to stop them from eating it. the meat never came in contact with glass in my house. Just sick with it !!!!!!!! Hope if you bought any from here in the Second week of February check your hamburger

Was purchasing food item with ebt food benefits. Cashier added sales tax! Once I explained due to federal law they can not add sales tax to ebt food purchases! The cashier then threw my food into garbage and was very rude! I recorded incident and also reporting to Florida snap program and bbb

Went to buy meat and some of it was bad returned it no problem. just wanted it replaced they did the guy got new meat from the back got home and that was just as bad. I will never buy any to eat or cook out of that store again.

I brought turkey wings, party wings, drum sticks, and ground turkey. 10 pounds of party wings is the problem I take the meat home to clean it and break it down as I always do BC its just 2 Ppl in my house n its so rank it smelled up the whole house. Being that I Wrk 6 days a week my next day off I attempt to return and they say u have to bring it back within 24hrs or call us BC we dont know what happens when it leaves the store what kind of sense does that make if Im buying more than one meat chances are Im not going to get to every me at within 24 hrs to find out if its bad so thats stupid in itself and what do you mean what happens to it when it leaves the store I put in my fridge until Im ready to cook it like any other person that goes grocery shopping for more than 1 day at a time. So to top it all off they take back all ten pounds which I care not but what you gonna do try n sell it to someone else?? And tell me well I cant give you your money back and I can give you 5 pounds of party wings only. #pissed worse experience ever. Never returning and telling anyone I have a conversation with dont go here BC your putting your family at risk the stuff doesnt smell edible period. Contacting news reporters and code enforcement this place is disgusting and I didnt even mention my experience while there since I happend to arrive in the last hour.

The customer service is bad, there is molded food on the shelves and the prices are high. The butchers service was good though.

The Meat is Expired, Old or Moldy. The Vegetable are in the same condition. Cheap meat that will make you sick. The Health Department needs to visit and Shut down this place. Disgusting and Unhealthy products. I brought chicken from here and I started to throw up from the smell of it and I could not cook it. Please Stay Away From This Place. Your Health and Safety is NOT worth these cheap prices.

I walked in on reviews alone and when I walked in I was very disappointed. The meat was turning and the place looked very dirty . No I dont see myself ever going back.I guess the people that gave good reviews like bad meat or I picked a bad day either way it was nasty and I would not shop there .

They are selling New York strips, you get 4 for 13.99 but its not steak its pork thats fraud and some religions cant have pork. Something needs to be done about this

Old meat, hamburger was so greasy all that was left was brown crusted meat with a pan full of grease. Pork chops were cut so thin you could see through them. I will never shop there again. People that worked there were so mean and acted like it was a big chore to help you.

Is my first time going to this store. I asked for the prices and nobody wanted to help me. I had to wait a couple of minutes and ask another person, only for him to send me to speak to another person, who looks disgusted to help me.
