I purchased my wedding dress and veil from Malindy Elene for my wedding in March 2021. I highly recommend their store! Like any bride, I had very high expectations for my wedding dress and the search for the dress. That Saturday morning surpassed every expectation and dream I ever had! Sarah was absolutely amazing to work with. She listened, let me pull any gowns I liked and also pulled some she knew I would love. My entire family loved working with her and I always felt like she had my best interest in mind. I never felt afraid to tell her if I wasnt feeling a dress and when I found the ONE, she let me bask in all my joyfullness twirling all over the store. First I want to say how adorable this boutique is!! I worked with Danielle and she was nothing short of amazing. She made me feel at ease during the dress trying on process and knew all the right things to say to keep me positive and feeling great. She helped me pick the perfect dress. When I told her I wanted to go home and think about it, after all this is the most expensive piece of clothing Ill ever wear, she was completely understanding and I did not feel pressured by her to buy now. I ended up going in 2 days later and purchasing the dress. Even though Danielle wasnt there to help me a second time, she left very detailed notes on my record and the staff was completely prepared for me. I highly recommend Malindy Elene!

This boutique offers custom made swimwear, apparel, party dresses, gowns for adults and kids. The store was very spacious, and they might be popular because the last time I was here it was jampacked! I bought 15 items and it didnt hurt my wallet. Their price was very affordable. I highly recommend.

I was so excited to come here because they carry a designer that I’ve been to dying to try on! Their selection of MWL was amazing!! Colleen was such an amazing consultant and really listened to what I was describing. She pulled dresses for me before I even got there based on ideas that I had previously texted her. She had cute little signs and a countdown all over the store that added that extra little touch to make you feel special. The very first dress I tried is going to be the one, so she was incredibly spot on!

The ladies (Alayna and Colleen) and Malindy Elene helped me immensely. I found two dresses I absolutely loved and was having the hardest time choosing between them. They both helped me so much by asking detailed, thoughtful questions, listing out details for pros and cons list, and so much more. They were also SO flexible and worked with me as I had family in town only for the weekend. I needed to come back the next day and they made time for me and gave me all the attention I needed. Both ladies were extremely knowledgeable about the dresses and designers and answered every single question I had. I HIGHLY recommend booking an appt with them if you are wedding dress shopping!

I loved my experience here! Shout out to their employee, Shelby. This girl did absolutely EVERYTHING she could to help me find my dream dress. This was my first experience looking for a wedding dress and thanks to their amazing staff and willingness to help, I didn’t have to go anywhere else to find the dress for me. Malindy Elene went well above and beyond! During my initial appointment Danielle quickly caught on to what I was liking and not liking before I even realized it for myself. They have a wonderful selection of beautiful wedding dresses and she is so good at what she does! My dress pick up appointment was a moment I will never forget - they gave us extra time to get some really nice pictures, and we toasted picking up my dress with champagne. My family was going through a difficult time, and Danielle made sure that they did everything they could to make that day special for us. You always have the whole boutique to yourself, so you dont feel rushed or self conscious and get their undivided attention! That being said Danielle is very good at knowing when you need a moment alone and when you need her help. I highly, highly, highly recommend! Thank you Malindy Elene!

Malindy Elene is an absolutely stunning bridal shop. The selection of dresses is absolutely gorgeous and Danielle is a ray of sunshine. She was super helpful and completely made me feel comfortable and understood how I was feeling. You get the whole store to yourself during the appointment which makes it so you are the sole focus of the consultant, which was very helpful. I recommend Malindy Elene ten times over!

Do NOT buy your dress here! I just had to file a Complaint with the BBB. I am a Tampa attorney and both myself and my mother are receiving horrible emails from their owner - who is also the owner of The White Magnolia - despite their clear breach of contract (see below). To be fair, yes, Danielle, the person who works at the salon, is extremely nice and you will like your experience there. But the problem is receipt of the dress. I truly hope I am the outlier here and this situation has not affected any of you ladies!! Here is the summary of the Complaint:On December 7, 2019, I placed on order for a Martina Liana wedding dress at Malindy Elene (which is also owned by the White Magnolia) as well as a veil from Toni Federici.) Half was paid on that date (approx. $1,345) and the other half in early January (remainder of $1,345). On the date of sale, I was told an estimated date of arrival of April 22, 2020. April 22, 2020 came and went and I heard nothing. One week later on April 29, 2020, I had to ask about the dress and was told were just waiting on the dress to ship. Today is May 22, 2020, over one month since the dress was due and 163 days after initial payment and order, and the best Malindy Elene says is it will most likely ship in early June. And the owner is refusing to refund my money or provide a discount or anything despite their clear breach of contract. In addition, my friend who purchased her dress at a different Tampa salon also purchased a Martina Liana dress on February 8, and it arrived here in Tampa on May 8.I have given them options of offering a discount, or cancelling the order, etc., in an effort to resolve the matter. Unfortunately, instead of an offer to resolve, I was met with a threat to face-off in Court as her “family is full of attorneys” (really, yes, that happened), despite their breach. She threatened both myself and my mother with legal action if we wrote bad reviews about her company and that “it would make the situation worse.” Yes, this all happened. I am absolutely disgusted and appalled and I wish I had gone to CCs or another local salon instead.Again, I hope I am the outlier, but given today’s times and difficulties, you all need to hear about this if you are considering Malindy Elene or any of the White Magnolia salons.

Everything about Malindy Elene is absolute perfection! A 5-star rating doesnt even seem to do it justice! Megan and her team made choosing and purchasing my wedding dress the MOST wonderful experience and better than I ever could have imagined! Everyone was incredibly sweet, professional, and accommodating, and they went out of their way to make sure I was completely satisfied with every aspect of my dress! I have referred several other brides to ME and will continue to do so! They are the BEST in the business!

Should have gone here first! Tried on 30-40 dresses at other locations in Tampa. Malindy Elene found my dress immediately! Was the first one I tried on there! The service is impeccable - personal but not pushy. Their dress selection is top notch and clearly very carefully selected. Good variety in price points too. Made me feel truly comfortable! Had the pleasure of being a bridesmaid and a bride at their shop. Highly recommend!

I am so, so, so thankful that a friend referred me to Malindy Elene! I scheduled an appointment shortly after my engagement, and I have had a fantastic experience from that day forward. I felt so comfortable in their beautiful boutique-like store, and I appreciated the attention and privacy that came with being the only appointment scheduled at that time. Karla was so patient and took the time to understand what I was looking for and walk me around the store to look at various styles. She kept my preferences in mind but encouraged me to step outside of my box (she even encouraged me to try on some dresses that were outside of my “idea” of what my dress would be like, and I picked one of them!). I did not feel at all pressured to make a purchase that day, and I ended up coming back a few weeks later to purchase the dress I loved the most without ever looking anywhere else! They have been a dream to work with over the past 10 months – patiently helping me to pick out and special order various accessories and additions to my dress. Their style advice and recommendations have been right on point. They have even gone above and beyond by coordinating the cleaning and altering of my mom’s veil that I plan to wear, and they have been so sweet to both my mom and my future mother-in-law. I have my first fitting today, and I am so excited to see my wedding look come together with all of their help! I highly, highly recommend starting and ending your dress shopping here!

Cannot say enough good things about Malindy Elene. Not only was I able to get my dream Anna Campbell gown due to a trunk show held, but Megan and Jen have been wonderful. They know how to make you feel comfortable, provide personal appointments and truly make you feel like a bride. I absolutely loved shopping and selecting my dream wedding dress at Malindy Elene! The atmosphere at Malindy was so beautiful, bright and spacious. I brought along my mom, sister, and 2 grandmothers who all had an amazing experience as well. I tried on a bunch of dresses out of their large selection, about 12 or so, but I kept turning back to the first dress I tired on. A gorgeous Martina Liana, nothing of what I originally expected to select, but it was meant to be. Everyone was so sweet, helpful, and accommodating throughout the entire process. Once I decided on YES! they popped champagne to celebrate! When my dress came in, I had minor alternations by Oliva Grey. She did amazing and it fit perfect! Again it was so much fun to be there and couldnt wait to return and pick it up! On my wedding day I felt truly beautiful and totally in love with my dress. I had the best time finding my wedding dress at Malindy Elene Bridal. Megan was an amazing consultant and very helpful. She really made my mom and my bridesmaids feel included in the appointment and everyone had such a great time. We had previously had a terrible appointment that same day at Isabel Oneil Bridal Collection down the road, but Malindy Elene made up for it with helping me find my perfect wedding dress! Malindy Elene is an adorable boutique with a ton of gorgeous dresses. The store itself is beautiful and they carry a variety of styles, all of which are absolutely incredible and unique. I went to 2 other shops before I came here and you can not even compare the selection of dresses. Megan, the owner, has impeccable taste and every dress is so special. Malindy Elene was my second and the last wedding dress boutique...there were many more on my list, but there was no need. Every dress in the boutique was perfectly selected and hard not to love. We fell in love with a beautiful Anne Barge dress that perfectly fit our ceremony and reception setting. In every visit I made to the boutique for the fittings and the final pick up of the dress everyone really made me feel special. Throughout the planning, the one thing I never felt nervous or worried about was my dress.Truly the experience that every bride wants to have for such an important day!

I purchased my wedding gown at Malindy Elene after hearing about a great experience with them. I could not have asked for a better experience trying on and purchasing a wedding gown. Before I even stepped foot in the salon, Megan emailed me some options of what I might like. Once I got there, the girls were fun, friendly, and so helpful. Since I live I Orlando, they constantly stayed late to accommodate my fitting appointments. Malindy Elene is a beautiful bridal boutique! I am using them to clean and preserve my wedding dress and they were very helpful and informative about the process. They also ship the dress directly back to you afterwards and that is a major plus! The most horrible customer service Ive ever experienced. Between the dirty looks, passive aggressive attitudes, to the laying of hands on my friend when she went for a pair of shoes for the bride.. Im surprised to hear out of their mouths that they do not offer water to their guests..because they do not have enough glasses.. We live in a beautiful city and there are plenty of bridal boutiques to enjoy. Save yourself and find another place!

Every time I drove past their window display on Kennedy I couldnt help but Ooh & Ahh at how beautiful their gowns were. I knew it was the place I wanted to shop for my gown when the time came. After being recently engaged I made an appointment for their sample sale. Megan was absolutely amazing and I went home with a beautiful sample designer gown that very day. Since then, Megan has been great about answering all my questions about alterations and accessories via email. I highly recommend this bridal store for anybody in South Tampa that is looking for that small boutique experience with absolutely gorgeous couture gowns.

The only positive I can express about our experience was the fact that the boutique was very charming and clean. We arrived for the appointment and Cambria was our sales assistant (I only know her name because I asked), there werent any introductions; first of many mistakes. I chose two dresses for my daughter to try and she informed me that was my limit, I jokingly said: I am cut off, without a smile she replied: yes! It just went down hill from there. There was NO customer service! Everything we needed or wanted we had to ask for: water, shoes, veils, etc, as she rolled her eyes and made unpleasent facial expressions at every request. By the way they also offer a very limited selection of dresses. This was suppose to be a special and exciting day, but unfortunately we left the store disappointed and extremely upset. It was a waste of OUR time, even though she made us feel like we were wasting HER time!

They were beyond helpful & definitely new their designers, I truly felt like they knew exactly what I was looking for . I had the pleasure of working with Megan at Malindy Elene for my hairpiece/veil for my wedding. After the first designer failed to come through on the veil, Megan went above and beyond to both correct someone elses mistake and to create a piece that was perfect for my day. This is the worst boutique ever. I had the worse bridal experience. Megan, the owner, ordered the wrong size dress for me. She even saw me in the dress and said that it was perfect. When I got the dress in, THEIR seamstress said that there mustve been a huge mistake and the dress shouldve NEVER been ordered in this size for someone like me. I was so humiliated and became super body conscious for no reason except for the fact that they ordered the wrong size. I was told that this was my fault because I was so happy when I first tried it on. Well duh... I loved the dress. I spent so much time in front of the seamstresses mirror crying because of how terrible I felt because I just couldnt fit. I felt like this was all my fault but it wasnt. But the thing is... I dont know a thing about fittings or seamstressing. THAT IS YOUR JOB MELINDY ELENE. Your customers should not have to be experts in order to get the right dress. Both me and the steamstress confronted Megan, the owner, about the problem. Megan came up with the solution to tear apart the dress in order for it to fit me. Megan even said that there was a seam that they could let out. THERE WAS NO SEAM. There was nothing to let out. Not even an inch. If you were good at your job you wouldve seen that aspect right off the bat. At least know your dresses. Now Im stuck with a $3,000 dress that I will never wear. She wouldnt even return it for a bigger size. She blamed the dress designer for it being a funky fit. Who does that??? DONT TRASH YOUR PRODUCTS. I contacted Ms. Anna Campbell, the dress designer, and they were appalled at this behavior. They sent me curiosity gift to make up for what a horrific experience I had. And the worst of all... It was the only thing my father bought for me for my wedding and now I cannot even touch it. Its just such a sad reminder that I will probably never be a super model. Body shaming is a real thing and it hurts. Please take your bride and run. She deserves better. She doesnt need to feel fat and stupid. I wouldnt wish it on anyone.

Malindy Elene was a real disappointment and what a shame it immediately reminded me of being in a New York boutique I was really happy to be away from the chain type of stores. Sadly one of the owners that was working on that day honestly could have cared less that this was a special day for us, the night before was a trunk show and she was I think tired that she had made that appointment. We did most of the heavy lifting (pulling gowns) on our own while she busied herself with the evenings leftovers and chucked at random messages she was getting.In fact when that ONE finally was found we were never offered that POP of champagne. Not to drag out the entire story but here it is 6 months past the wedding date and they never contacted me for the fitting, nothing.the dress cost over $6,000 I picked it up shortly after purchase to keep at home until time to be fitted they told me that i would be contacted. Not even a thank you, nothing.Malindy Elene your awful you should change your name to Dress-Zilla
