Hello, my name is Les! I drive a Mercedes GLS, 450 I was on the Vet and got a tire low warning light! I got off at the next exit which was Waters and right there was Mavis Tires!!!! Roger greeted me and not only checked the pressure in the tire that indicated, but he checked them all, and ALL WERE LOW SURPRISINGLY!!!! He filled each tire with proper pressure and refused to take an unknown amount of money I keep on my visor! I constrained him to take it, but he politely and professionally refused, saying he was glad to help!!!! I live in Spring Hill, but I would recommend you get your vehicle serviced there, you dont get that kind of service everywhere!!!! Thanks Roger!!!!!

Nice guys at the at the shop real clean and polite. They definitely know about tires, came in one day to replace a single tire on emergency the mechanic avidly told me I would be back soon because the others are dry rotted, sure enough a week later the tire started splitting open. But oh Lord will they overcharge the oil change. Filled out survey and Fred called to answer my questions, thank you I really appreciate that.

Went in for a second opinion on my AC as was advised by a shady service shop to replace compressor. Spoke with Jayson who explained that I only need a re-charge, so thankful he saved me money. Went in for a $99 brake special. I was told it would actually be $109.99 per axle for the pads. I say ok so $220 for the whole car, correct? He says yes or it would be $299 with the rotors. Sounds good to me.I call 30 minutes after missing their call and get told my total is $750. Immediately Im caught off guard and ask for an explanation and only then am I told its $299 per axle for the rotors too. I told them no thanks I just want the pads and thats when they tell me theyve already done the pads and rotors on the back. I tell them I only want the front pads done and they tell me they wont have time even though they had 2 hours until close.So now Im out $300 for half of a job I expected to pay $220 for. What a joke.

The staff (Jason Champion) at the waters street location needs retraining on how to rotate and balance directional tires on a staggered fitment. They said it cant be done! All you do is dismount the wheel and flip it the opposite direction and remount the tire and balance it then move it to the opposite side of the vehicle on the same axle.I called Mavis Consumer Solutions and spoke with the Regional Training Manager Fred Lawrence and had a good conversation about the previous review. They are doing what great companies do to correct training issues so that future clients are taken care of and the brands image and vision is upheld. I decided to purchase 4 new tires and they have replaced them and everything was done as requested. Im upgrading my review to 5 star.

I am so impressed with the service as a whole! Lee was knowledgeable, honest, friendly and very helpful! I called 2 hours before they were closing to get rotors and brakes done. I assumed I would have to keep my truck there overnight as all of their bays looked full. Not only did they finish before I expected (Under 2hrs!), they were honest about what I needed done and didnt try to upsell me. That is a rare find today. These guys are so much better than going to any other chain shop. I picked up 4 new tires and was out within an hour, at 5pm on a Thursday! How many times has that happened? They know their stuff and are phenomenal at it. Had an issue with one of my tires, Dale was super cool about it and patched it, no problem! But Dale, Wendall and Roger worked with us and explained everything we needed to know to feel secure in trusting them with our vehicle. I asked a friend if he knew of a good tire shop and he recommended Mavis. I had never been there before but they were in a convenient location on my way home from work. Decided at the very last minute to stop by and I am glad that I did because I needed to get my tires balanced . I was greeted right away and the service was excellent from start to finish. They gave me a time frame for the work to be completed and they exceeded that. The work was top notch, I was having a rough ride at higher speeds and when I got my car back, the expressway was right there so was able to see right away if the work was done right and I couldn’t be more pleased. Would definitely recommend Mavis to anyone. Staff were great and friendly.

Very rude and unprofessional. I towed my car there under the pretense it would at least be looked at. I came to this location before and had my tires done, no issue.The guy “eyed” it for 15 seconds before RAMBLING about in mechanical terms to tell me there’s nothing HE CAN DO but he has a auto mechanic he can refer me too. I really despise minimum wage working a-holes such as yourself because you pride yourself on making an honest living but you can’t even be honest with yourself or customers. Totally unprofessional. Honestly, I wish you well dear because with that attitude you will be unemployed in no time.Take care!

I went today for the first time to Mavis Tires & Brakes on 5660 W. Waters Ave. to purchase two tires got a great deal. They balanced and rotated the tires. I also had my oil changed and bought some windshield wipers. It took exactly the time I was told it would take. They did an excellent job, I would definitely recommend them.

Dale was a joy to deal with. He kept me fully informed by giving status updates and fully communicated what the cost was going to be. With an 8 AM appointment to get new rotors, brake pads, an oil change and two patch jobs on my tires because of slow leaks, I was out of their garage by 11 AM. I highly recommend Mavis. They do nice work with a very professional and friendly staff.

Got off work at 6:00 PM and got to my car to find out i had an emergency with a slow leak on a front tire. Most tire shops closed according to my search on Google. This was the only place open until 8:30 PM and 12 miles away. I got there as soon as I could only to hear that because i didnt have an appointment they could not service my car, (a less than 10 minute job, done at another shop). On top of that the young guy behind the counter recommended I drove another 15 minutes to Oldsmar!! When asked to call to check on availability, he ask me to Google the location and call from my phone. Extremely POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Will not ever go back there again or even recommend this place. They get one star because i do not have an option for NONE. Hope this helps if your looking for great customer service and care.

Truly one of the WORST experiences I have gone through. I had made an appointment one weekend and had waited over two hours before finally leaving after not being attended too. Made a SECOND appointment for 8AM on the following Saturday. And here I am, waiting over 2 hours to get my brakes fixed. Service was terrible, and they like to pay no mind to the ones that have been waiting there the longest. I will not be returning to ANY mavis tire center for, hopefully, the rest of my life. Worst experience ever.

Got my brakes done on the rear axle. The agent (and I think I also spoke with the manager) made me feel welcome - not rushed. The price was more than I wanted to spend (like every other car repair cost) but less than a lot of other places. I was given a small list of other issues to watch out for but I never felt pressured to spend more than the initial cost for the brake job I went in for. They were busy but I was still done in just a little over an hour. Ill be back when I need more service on my car. Very satisfied.

My daughter and I dropped off her Vehicle for a Saturday morning 8am appointment for (4) tire replacement and alignment. We were advised vehicle should be ready by 10am same day.We arrived at 10:30am to pick up vehicle and the car was not ready due to several safety sensor lights were triggered which was caused by a poor alignment technician that did not report that he had encountered any issues while the completing the alignment.They requested to keep the car until Monday in order to allow them time to have a more qualified technician to repair the alignment computer that they were having issues with since they did not have anyone on site that was qualified to perform this task.I advised Dayle that I was very upset about this poor service received and he became a bit confrontational with me. This was poor customer service we received from him and Mavis because this was clearly an extreme error on their behalf performing work for customers and not having the proper equipment to do so.We advised that we will not leave the vehicle with them for (2) days, as my daughter needed her vehicle and Dayle (the Manager) advised us to drop off the vehicle again on Monday, as the alignment equipment should be repaired by then.So, basically they assumed responsibility for my daughter not having her safety sensors working in proper order until we dropped off her vehicle again on Monday.We dropped of the vehicle on Monday (which left my daughter without a vehicle again) and returned to pick up vehicle on Tuesday late afternoon.Upon picking up of vehicle, I inspected and drove vehicle to ensure all in working order before leaving.I had minimal interaction with Dayle on this day nor did he apologize for the Extreme inconvenience and liability they had caused us.I recommend not to use this location as they appear to lack the skills to perform safe workmanship and lack skills to deliver excellent customer service.

Ive brought all my vehicles to mavis tires and brakes located on w waters they always give me a break to understand what my vehicle needs and give the best prices out of any tire company.

I feel I was taken advantage of. I paid $900 for brakes ( of course I could not confirm rotors, calipers, etc., were really needed and couldn’t take the chance of continuing to drive the car to find a better deal), but after spending $1,200 for tires on my wife’s car a few months ago there, you would think they could give some sort of discount, but no. The car is only worth $3k after all! But I still need it to get to work and can’t afford a new one, so had to pay. There you go.

Came here today to get tires put on all the way around. Roger was awesome help and pointed out a few things I should keep my eye on to get replaced in the future. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thanks guys.
