Working with service centers can sometimes be very challenging, especially as a woman that does not know very much about cars. Its essential to me that I am able to go to a place that I know I can trust. In February of 2022 I took my car to this dealership to get a new key fob after losing one and have my transmission inspected. My car was under an extended warranty and they were able to replace the transmission control solenoid and get both of my new key fobs under warranty and at the end of the day it only cost me $46! Along the way Tim Radice, my service consultant was absolutely phenomenal. He kept me updated and made countless calls to my different warranty companies to ensure I was spending as little out of pocket as possible. Within a week I had my car back.Sadly shortly after my transmission started acting up again and the problem was much worse. I took it back to the dealership and found out that the transmission cover had warped and it was going to be a $1,500 fix because my warranty had just expired. Tim did everything he could (hes awesome like that) and put me into contact with the service manager, Paul. From the moment I got on the phone with Paul I could tell he was handling this with the upmost professionalism. He was kind and patient and he let me spend 10 minutes walking him through the initial repair to my cars current state. Paul quickly jumped into action and got on the phone with GM to figure out why this was happening. He called me back after speaking with GM Engineering and let me know that there was some critical information GM had not relayed to them. Apparently any time you replace the solenoid you need to replace the cover as well, because it disrupts the seal and often causes transmission fluid leakage. Paul said they would 100% cover the cost of labor and asked if I would cover the $149 part, saving me over $1,000. So if course I said yes! They had no LEGAL responsibility to offer me this, especially given that they had no way to know this information at the time of the initial repair. It is; however, the right thing to do given that the issue stemmed from the initial repair.I am so thankful that Paul, Tim and the other Cadillac team members did their best to take care of me in this situation. Car troubles are never fun and are almost always quite costly. Its worth it to go to a place you can trust - and this is it.
It started bad because they sold a car that I not only had an appointment to see, but had submitted a credit app on and took a hit on my credit for. Not only that, but none called to tell me so I drove an hour only to be told theyd sold the car without consideration of these facts. But...they are working with me and hopefully will end up with a deal that makes up for this highly unprofessional and inconsiderate business practice.
I had a great experience at this service center. I have to rate them with a 5 stars because they exceeded my expectations by providing top notch service. I have to mention I brought my vehicle in two different occasions and nothing changed, just great service. Thank you to Kent for being an excellent and very professional service advisor. I’ll be servicing my vehicle here in the future.
I used to get our Saturn Vue serviced here back in the day. Service was not particularly friendly, but nobody was mean. They did their best to work with our warranty companies and generally had the vehicles ready at the designated time. In some cases, they would even offer a rental vehicle I believe at no added cost if there was an issue with the repairs that made it take longer than expected.
Michael Branon and Christian Smith great people and awesome to work with...
