Absolutely awful!!!!!! DO NOT GET YOUR BOOKS HERE!!!!!! I got my books the very first week of school, 5 weeks later, still have not received all of my books!!!! Absolutely unacceptable!!! If you rent your books and they have already charged you for them, you cannot cancel them, so youre stuck in them like a contract! Find your book somewhere else to rent, even though they have books here to rent, they may not have them because theyordering them from the publisher. There is no communication whatsoever on the timing of your books, so that means they also wont tell you that your book is not in stock and has to be ordered! Ive been to the bookstore countless times and the customer service is absolutely awful! Its students running the place so they dont really have the motive to care for your books, and the adults dont really help much either.

Fun place to visit featuring a large selection of USF logo items, besides textbooks, and student supplies. Also features a cafe offering Starbucks beverages and products. But beware, this is not a regular Starbucks...you cant use your Starbucks app to pay or earn points.

The USF bookstore is a nice location to purchase all things USF Bulls. I was pleased to see a few items for Bull parents.

Non-existent customer service. You make a phone selection and it hangs up on you. You email and they never respond. I went there to speak to them and they lied. How is anyone suppose to get service!? The book was returned to them and never delivered and I have proof but how can anything be done when they wont answer and lie when you speak to them! The management should be ashamed of the way the system is set up to take you money and never settle problems. As an alumni, Im disgusted.

Great place and lots of USF gear! Recommend it to anyone who is looking for a specific gear from USF there’s also three floors and the first floor has books the second floor a lot of USF gear and the last floor has a couple of school supplies.The staff was really nice and helpful but the prices are a little bit too high.You could probably find cheaper stuff online but it is still a nice experience to visit the Store as it does have a couple of special USF gear.But honestly everything was really expensive and I don’t usually purchase anything there I only went there when my mother was here to visit the school.

Be warned,if you live far and you want to do a buy back, calling them doesnt guarantee they know what theyre saying cause I called before going and they said they can do a buy back and I drove there from St Pete and they said they are not even though they said they were over the phone. When I was on the phone, they even asked for the number on the bar code to look it up in their system and they said we can take them. The lady told me they didnt know....well how about you make sure your employees know whats going on so they dont tell customers wrong info. They didnt care I drove far. Dont take their word for what they say all the time. This store is the worst Ive seen at any college anywhere. Save yourself a trip unless you dont care wasting time going

Good selection of USF merch. It is two stories and the books are upstairs. There is a Starbucks inside if you need a pick-me-up. The merch is a bit pricey.

The cashier was very rude when I did not have anymore financial aid. She was very mad about canceling the order. Which was only digital slips.

Its a little overpriced here but it seems like a good hangout spot. I havent tried anything in the cafe but theres a good selection of school supplies, textbooks, and school spirit stuff. Their textbook rental program is actually pretty good, even though the books they offer are expensive. Its an economical alternative and I am glad they offer it. I just wish it was available for more textbooks. Overall, its a good campus bookstore. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I like it.

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered a book for my classes through them. First they said it was delayed for a month then they cancelled my order. I can’t believe this is a university bookstore!!!

Ordered a an online access code And they gave me the wrong one. I came back to exchange it for the correct one which the staff helped me out with however I live 30 mins away. A woman there also tried to say that I would have to do an exchange and that there might be a price difference either know I explained to her they had given me the wrong one in the first place. She raised her hand at me to say “I get it”, then reread my receipt and realized what I was saying was correct instead of listening to me in the first place. Everyone else was incredibly helpful and compliant and I understand mistakes happen, however if a customer has a valid issue they need to be heard out and assisted. Very poor customer service on her part.

I scheduled an order pickup and the Bookstore was closed when I came by. Reservation system needs to be fixed to reflect business hours so that when people schedule a pickup they can’t schedule for a non-business day.

Very large bookstore with many different options for color, style, brand and more. Not much parking if you do not have a parking pass. Cafe inside the book store has no seating due to covid but there are spots to sit outside.

Love this bookstore. Between clothes, books, gifts, coffee, electronics this place is perfectly located in the center of campus. Always clean. Worked the cafe for a few months my senior and it was once if the best “jobs” I had.

While visiting the bookstore I had no idea what text book my class required. Thanks to Christian in the bookstore, I was able to obtain both books from my courses. He was patient, attentive, and friendly. All while he was managing other tasks he assured I was taken care of, and he was hasty in doing so. Thank you for hiring such amazing people like Christian which make the stressful Covid situation at school much easier.

Its definitely a nice place, but be ready for aggressively overcharged items. Nonetheless, if you need ANYTHING related to school supplies, then this is a great (expensive) choice.

I never received book that I had ordered at the beginning of the school year. Apparently all they had to do was sent it to my email. That never happened and they just cancelled it instead. Youll have better luck with buying Amazon or finding the PDF for your class.

I have been calling for days trying to get the status of an order and no one has picked up, its very unprofessional. Classes started this week and students need to get access to the textbooks how are we supposed to when they wont take calls. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE

They will not answer the phone for anything. It’s incredibly difficult to find out any information besides the business hours (which are wrong). Also, the prices are ridiculous. You’d be better off going to Amazon or a 3rd party vendor.

No one answers the phone ... I finally reach a representative they put me on hold then the call hangs up and no one calls back .. I ordered a book in the store because it wasn’t in stock, so I have been calling to see if my book was in because my class started and no one has called me yet to show me the availability of my book. I am so frustrated with this bookstore I honestly can scream.

Absolutely terrible. Have tried calling over 10 times and no one ever answers. I purchased two online codes that should be delivered instantly but instead its been days and still nothing. and i cant seem to reach anyone through phone or email.

The store is large with a wide variety of products. In addition to being able to buy or rent textbooks and other items, the attendants are attentive.

No one picks up the phone, ive called more than 20 times about returning a $140 access code that was “required” but isnt even the right subscription I needed. Can’t even refund it. I’ve been calling for 2 weeks now about this. No one picks up the phone.

I went there on a college tour and talked to the staff and the students there. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The clothing looks and feels amazing and everything is at a good price

I worked there for less than a week and I immediately quit. The store manager Barb was always rude to her employees, went out of their way to not talk to anyone, even refused to shake your hand, and made you feel stupid for trying to pull a small conversation.

We love the USF Bookstore to get our University of South Florida gear!

Wow, this place is impressive. I realize I dont have much of a frame of reference, but students can get anything here from books to electronics. The only goofy part was having to pick up a digital code for an online program. Kind of goofy shipping a digital product.

All the employees are friendly and professional.

The bookstore is pooly managed, and nobody seems to have any idea whats going on, or where to find things. Probably not the employees fault, but rather whoever runs the place. That being said, the USF merchandise floor is great, just dont bother getting your textbooks here.

Ordered my books weeks ago and still havent gotten them. They dont know where they are, wont cancel them so you can just physically get them from the store. They answer and hang up whenever i try to call. Absolutely awful. We are on the second week of classes and i should have my text books by now.

As a student who is attending your online classes due to Covid-19, you guys should allow free shipping since you closed the store down. $7.50 for shipping is disrespectful considering that most of us are not working right now because of the quarantine.

Great place to study in between classes. The Star Bucks here offers the best deals when you bring your own reusable cups when ordering iced coffee or tea.

Hours change depending on time of semester so I tend to call ahead if its important or I have to drive a distance. The staff is usually knowledgeable and friendly.

Firstly, USF is amazing. Im very impressed. Secondly, the merchandise in the bookstore is EXTREMELY overpriced. Very disappointing. Very.

For the bookstore of such a large school it leaves something to be desired. Even after the remodel. The have no idea where things are. I was sent all over the store for school supplies which mediocre at best.

The cafe is a great alternative to the other Starbucks on campus. Its much quieter, and they serve sandwiches, salads and a bunch of other deli stuff too. The bookstore itself is big and you can find just about anything youd need on campus there.

I had the unfortunate opportunity to visit the cafe recently. Unfortunate in the my son was a patient at the hospital for a few days. So during that time I visited this cafe a few time instead of “enjoying” the Hospital meal that was being sent to our room.The food wasn’t bad by the price was a little bit excessive. The lines were pretty ridiculous too. I don’t know how the people who work at this hospital can get in and out in the amount of time they have for lunch break! It was difficult finding a seat too. I think if I ever have to spend any more time at this hospital I’d rather shot across the street to one of the fast food joints. Truth be told I’d rather eat lunch with a bunch of strangers rather then a bunch of student nurses and doctors. Lol

The cafe is a really nice space that usually isnt as busy as the rest of campus. Its a nice place to get coffee and study in, and they also sell pastries and sandwiches.

I ordered from them and I had an awful experience. First, it took them forever to send the item. Then, they left a number in my address out and sent the item to the wrong place. I will not buy anything from them again. They seem very unprofessional.

Everything USF clothing is here as well as any study materials: books, calculator, notebook, etc. However its very overpriced and lots of the time you can find it somewhere else cheaper. Cafe is nice tho

Thank you to the USF Bookstore Cafe for making my day. Jasmine and team were all smiles and good cheer. I didn’t order anything exciting, just a black coffee, but on this rainy day, Jasmine made everything a little bit brighter. Oh, and try the dark roast, you won’t regret it!

We stopped in looking for some USF School shirts and we were able to find two on the sale rack for ten bucks a piece! Its the end of the school year so many items were marked down. Be sure to check out the sale rack if youre looking for t-shirts hoodies Etc.

A decent place to find emergency food or supplies if youre short something at the college. Beware, however, for the prices are marked up much higher than the items are usually worth elsewhere. Staff is turned over a lot so helpfulness varies.Stuff that is exclusive to this bookstore are things like USF branded clothing, silverware, and memorabilia.

I like the coffee there. Besides the books and USF brands, it’s a really nice place to study.

We all know shopping at any University bookstore is going to be expensive, but here I have the option of renting used books! I have saved a ton of money doing this! Interacting with the staff is usually a positive experience, even when they are super busy. The managers I have come across have been great as well... Ill be going back in a few days to get the rest of my books for the fall semester. ☺️

Not handicap friendly. Both areas which deal with book rentals are only accsesable by stairs, second floor handles the picking up of online orders and the basement is where you can order in person. Both only accessable through the stairs. Wildly impractical for those who cannot use the stairs but need to get text books for classes. Would not recommend.
