Was a wonderful experience, decided to do vacation tattoos. Loved the staff. Had a great time. The new ink is exactly what I wanted.

I went in to this location at 11:00P.M. to get a small tattoo. The lady at the front said to come back in thirty minutes to give the artist a break, which was completely fine. I come back thirty minutes later as told to, and three people who came in after me were serviced and the artist comes out and said he was leaving and did not have time to do it an HOUR AND A HALF BEFORE THEY CLOSE. So unprofessional and rude. I waited over an hour just to be told to leave. I will NEVER be back.

Staff is awesome! For a crazy busy Friday the 13th, they were friendly and accommodating. Both my piercing and tattoo came out great. Will definitely be going back. See Royal for tatts and Brianna for piercings.

The tattoo was great but there was a young girl maybe mid 20s who did my belly button piercing it was august 13 . She did not put it in the right spot and doesn’t look nice at all

Me And my man got there at 10:20 was told it’s about and 1hr or more wait. We filled out paperwork and at 12:39 the lady told us they were not doing more tattoos. Very unprofessional especially when I asked if we could come back. The lady advised that we had to wait there or we would lose our place. We sat there for 2 hours I feel they should of done out tiny cross tattoos

He took the idea from an image I showed him and the idea I had in my head and just simply understood exactly what I meant and wanted and created the perfect artwork. He matched the colors I described to him flawlessly and created an intimate and unique little piece for me. I couldn’t be happier. He had excellent ink side manner, customer service and was extremely professional. Megan, the manager, was very helpful when I called to ask questions and was so kind when I came in the next day to get inked. She was very relatable when discussing my tattoo and made me feel so comfortable getting such a personal piece done there. I would 100% recommend going. I came in for two piercings Sunday evening and had such a great experience with the female piercing tech/manager. I literally could not have had a better experience or service. Awful service and staff. Unprofessional and rude. I was there and the lady next to me was complaining because someone tattood her there and messed it up and then another guy fixed it but not really and she was back again so fix it again and he wanted to charge her even more money even though they messed up multiple times. I went last Friday with my husband to have a matching tattoo. First of all the boy has a heavy hand that caused me to swell my wrist and I still have a lot of pain. I have the ugliest tattoo in the world. It looks like a tattoo of prisoner, now I have to wait for it to heal to go to another place and fix it. My husbands is worse than mine. If they see the photo they will notice what I say. The worst tattoo artist. But the other artists are very nice since this is not the first time I go but I have never seen that boy who made my tattoo. I was thinking that my tattoo would look good because I liked the place because I came before with my friends..... Sorry if you dont like my review but Im not happy with his work. I think his name is Graviel something like that. he has tattoo in all his body and face

I got a small tattoo here by Mark Mahaffey a few months ago. It healed weird so I waited a few months and then dm’d him on insta if I could get it touched up and how much that would be.He left it on read so I waited a week and redm’d him and was also left on read. Very unprofessional, I won’t be coming back

Workers DEFINITELY need more training. I have 12 piercings and know how to properly take care of them. The lady who pierced my ears told me to clean my earring with hydrogen peroxide. You are NOT supposed to clean piercings with HP or rubbing alcohol because it severely dries out the area; therefore, does not heal properly. Also- she told me to twist my piercings daily. You are NOT supposed to twist your piercings at all!!! You are not supposed to even touch them. Lastly, the backs on my earrings were put on wayyyy too tight. Easy problems to be solved...TRAIN YOUR STAFF BETTER!

They did my tattoo wrong and I called asking if they can fix it and the guy that did it was fired and they told me I have to pay to get it fixed when it should have been done right in the first place!!

I just went here today and got my nose pierced. It was not expensive no deposit and the guy that did it was very nice and did it in seconds. Of course there was a little hint of pain but it was quick. Yeah it may look like the place needs a little touch up but the customer service makes up for it.

I got a small neck tattoo and they charged me $130 when everybody i asked said it should’ve been priced at $30 or less. I thought it would be of high quality but it came out super terrible. Uneven nobody can even tell what it says. It’s in an awkward spot on my neck and the second word has completely disappeared and I’ve only had the tattoo for 3 days.

Came in last minute with a tattoo idea and the staff was very accommodating. It was 10 mins till close, staff held store open to do tattoo. Shop is pretty busy for good reason so probably better to call ahead.

I went in for A conch piercing and not only did the piercer give me a rude attitude he did not let me pick the jewelry or show me before piercing me. i left the place looking absolutely terrible with a heavy piece of metal in my ear and it did not look good one bit

I informed him immediately how dramatic I am, and he assured me I was in good hands. He had the ability to connect in such a professional level with and making me feel extra comfortable. I went there to ask for the price and they told me that a small tattoo was 100$, i told them that i got three tattoos for 80$ in ybor city tattoo company and the guy replied in a very rude way that i should get them somewhere else. I understand that every pricing is different but there are certain ways to treat a customer.

AWFUL! They ruined a pretty simple tattoo and are incapable of drawing a circle. After agreeing to fix their mistake, the tattoo artist instead blew off any attempt that was made to confirm an appointment and they have replied to any criticism unprofessionally. After leaving a negative review on Facebook, one of the tattoo artist decided it was appropriate to take to her personal profile and make a status about how her friends should leave positive reviews to try to cover up the well deserved negative one. Im literally disgusted by the way this tattoo shop handles disagreeable situations! I will NEVER give them a single cent of my money and if I were you, Id avoid them all together as well. Trying to save people from embarrassment and poor quality tattooist who dont care about their customers.

Got my ears pierced about a week ago. They were pretty painful and stung after. Today I noticed it’s extremely crooked. From the front it looked fine but the back went out right on top of my second piercing hole. I was unable to get an earring through the second hole because of how close the 3rd one is. I ended up having to take them both out. 40 dollars completely wasted. Very disappointed in this place and do not recommend it at all. Take your money somewhere else before they ruin your ears. The guy was nice but the piercing is horrible.

Ink Spot Tattoo in Ybor City Florida is absolutely awesome! Ive had plenty of tattoos done at several different shops around the Tampa Bay area over the last 20 years and in that time I have got to say that Ink Spot Tattoo is the first shop Ive come across is that I absolutely love 100%! I mean they are so awesome there I have gotten 3 separate pieces done already in less than 3 weeks. The work that Ive had done has been by the artist named Mark, and he is absolutely awesome! He knows exactly what you want when you describe it and can bring it to life on your body! And having three tattoos in under a month is a first for me! However since I found somebody who can do what Im looking for Im going to keep going back and Ive got plenty of more work for him to do! Also everybody that Ive come across at the shop is extremely nice, funny, they all put out a great Vibe, the work Ive seen done by the other artists are amazing as well and also the body piercing is excellent. All in all I have to say this shop is probably the best one to go to in Ybor City if youre in that area! I would not waste my time at all with any of the other tattoo parlors in Ybor. I would only spend my money at Ink Spot Tattoo in Ybor City from now on!Included are pix of the 3 tattoos that Mark has completed so far for me....

Mark did my tattoo last night, I was a walk in but they treated me like an old friend. Mark really cared about getting everything exact on my tattoo & its gorgeous! The colors are so bright and beautiful. Everyone working last night were awesome! I live in Polk county but will be back for many more tattoos! Mark was not heavy handed & was a funny guy.

Chris did my tattoo and was recommended to my by a friend who he has done a lot of really good work on. He was super professional and is line work is amazing!!While i was waiting on my friend to get her tattoo done i felt like a spontaneous piercing and Marie hooked me up. She answered all of my questions and made me feel super comfortable.The place is clean and professional and the artists are super friendly and great at what they do. Found my local place for sure.

I visited Sunday evening and got my nostrils pierced by Megan. She was professional, knowledgeable, and her work is of stellar quality. I bled very badly, but Megan was able to get the jewelry piece in quickly and she kept me calm. I will definitely visit her again to get more piercings done by her and I plan on recommending her to my friends. She is cool as Hell and dedicated to her work.

Hunter is an amazing, patient, and very detailed oriented artist with amazing ideas. Im extremely picky about what I put on my body, as it will be with me always. He is very patient and understanding. He wants to make sure the piece is perfect and wont send you on your way until it is. He ensures you are happy with his work and and always makes time in his busy schedule to squeeze you in for last minute decisions.

My wife and I were on vacation from Minneapolis and stopped in late on June 1st-after going to many shops we felt the most comfortable with Ink Spot Tattoo-not only the friendliness and genuine courtesy but the cleanliness and level of talent was kick ass. I gave a general idea and Mark came up with exactly what I wanted in the most amazing 3-D tattoo and definitely delivered. A scorpion and my fallen brothers initials adorn my arm now and I couldnt be happier. Thanks, Mark! Ill definitely be back!

Megan did my piercing and it was great. She calmed me down about it cause I was nervous, she was extremely gentle with my skin and it came out nicely. She even looked at it a week later to reassure me that it’s healing normally and how it should be healing. If I ever want another piercing I will definitely be going to ink spot again because she was super informative, nice and quick.

DO NOT GO HERE. My friend and I came in to get small heart tattoos on our wrists and long story short, our very small tattoos came outHORRIBLE. They are uneven, the line work is sloppy. It honestly looks like a 5th grader did our tattoos. We’re going to get it covered up or fixed at another place on Monday. I would give this place a 0 rating if i could.

Decided to get some work done while visiting Tampa last night and after asking around in Ybor, Ink Spot came highly recommended. All employees are very professional and the quality of their work is uncanny. I was pleasantly surprised that Raquel accepted me as a walk in with the piece I was looking to get done. I had a great conversation with Raquel and Megan the entire time I was getting tattooed, and had an all over excellent experience. I will definitely be coming back for more work and would say hands down this is best tattoo shop with the most qualified artists I’ve ever been to.

Had a great experience here, been there several times and I will go back. They make you feel comfortable and there is no pressure.

Edit: so I’ve gotten my nostril and tongue pierced here which both turned out great, and I do like the employees and they’re super friendly but I just got my nipples pierced here about 3 days ago (9/2/2020) and they used a curved barbell which is bad for healing and the bars were wayyy to short. The placement of the piercing itself was good but I just had to get the bars replaced with longer straight bars. I just think the piercer should be more educated on which Jewellery to use and the lengths. I probably won’t come here again but I thank them for my tongue and nostril.

Took a friend to get his very first tattoo!! They where very patient with him and even gave recommendations on what to add or take away from first tattoo. Helped him with placement ideas as he was 100 % clueless where he wanted it or how big just that he wanted some type of knife 🔪 to represent his being a chef at heart. I have a bunch of tattoos never have i been into this shop prior. Im thinking after all the professional help from owner and his quality work I may just get my next one here too ! He was very clean and even asked him if he was allergic to anything like latex a few times before starting i liked that he was safe and NOT careless

Took my daughter in for her first professional tattoo guy at the front desk was called blue he was very cool and the artist we had was named q very professional very smooth took his time did a really good job on my daughters tattoo Im a picky sob and I was very satisfied with the entire process I would definitely recommend this place to others Ill be going there for my next tattoo

Mark has done two of my tattoos now, one on my back and another on my side. Every time I have brought him an idea, he outdoes himself. This recent tattoo had a very big meaning behind it as it was a memoir for my grandmother who passed away last year. He gave me a fair price and did an outstanding job. I am so happy with the result. He did this tattoo for my sister and I as a matching piece. The whole staff is great!

Stopped with the family for multiple tattoos of the same image. Three were ok, two were definitely NOT, three were so so. None looked like the tracing none look like each other. Place was clean, people were really friendly. If you want a great story go here, if you want a quality tattoo look elsewhere.

I went to this shop at almost 3am Saturday to get my nipple pierced I felt welcome I had a great experience they had great music playing the shop was clean relaxing and the workers were very nice the women who pierced my nipple did it perfectly it was fast she knew what she was doing and the pain wasn’t so bad they have great prices compared to other places I highly recommend this shop for piercings I will be going back for more. Unfortunately I don’t remember the women’s name who pierced me but I do remember that she has some little flying birds tattooed on her shoulder so look for her lol she’s the best. The only thing I recommend for the shop owner to do is add some more seats.

I went for the first time and there was a piercer named Megan, she could tell it was my first time getting my nips pierced and nose repierced. She is the most amazing woman and I love her for it. Scheduled a lip tattoo appointment with an artist an hour before close then they didn’t deliver the tattoo simply because they were understaffed after the fact of scheduling an appointment.. long story short they close 2 hours before they claim to close.

Went in for a daith piercing while a friend got a new tattoo. Everyone in three was exceptional. Place was clean. Really enjoyed my experience from the get go. I met Sean at the 7/11 next door and told him I wanted to get a tattoo and he told me about Hunter. I showed Hunter what I wanted and he had everything ready to go in 30 minutes. The experience was great. He held conversation throughout the whole thing (nearly 4 hour session) except at the difficult parts where he responded with the occasionally uh-huh and yep. The tattoo turned out beautifully and even now I keep him updated with the healing process. This is my first detailed colored tattoo and I freak out over every little thing so its really great that I have Hunter to answer all my questions.
