The owner Mickey is a nice person but she’s very aggressive with her customers and she trains her employers not to tell the customers certain things. Employers aren’t allowed to tell the customers that the wigs are synthetic. She wants the employers to lie. She also will blame the employee’s if the customers don’t purchase anything. She’ll tell the employees that they aren’t promoting her products enough or good enough. She’s very rough on her employees and wants them to be perfect. She should hire salesmen. She also lies to her customers just for money. It’s the employees it’s Mickey and her character that is running the customers away.

They have the best service and selection! The staff was so helpful in helping me choose the wig I wanted and were very patient to show me many wigs within my price range. Not only do they have amazing wigs, but they also have a wide selection of beauty products from all different companies. I appreciated all the help especially when they explained every product to me. I will definitely be coming back!!

This is one of the best Beauty Supply stores Ive ever been in. The owners are the best people EVER they really care about the employees and the customers. Making sure that all the customers that come in are equipped with, not just a product but product knowledge as well. You can always count on great customer service because the employees themselves take pride in what they do making every visit personable and comfortable to be yourself. AND If you want GREAT DEALS or WIDE selection star beauty would be my first choice they have everything. I would call them the target of hair and care products. The only complaint that i have is that I wish i would have known about them sooner because Star Beauty is TRULY a great hair shop experience. :) 10s across the board!!!

Star Beauty Supply has a great staff that is willing to assist you with any of your beauty needs. They have an array of beauty supplies for an array of customers. They also have a complete wig and hairpiece area within the store, for customers and potential customers to try-on wigs, hairpieces and accessories. I have shopped here quite a few times and would prefer the helpful and attentive staff at Star Beauty versus some of their competition.

Please never go hear the owner of the store is super pushy. She should have a bunch of stuff in your face trying to get you to buy garbage . She legit sold me a wig for $60 that was on display and I got home and put it on and it matted super quick. Also when you ask for something she picks up the most expensive products instead of giving you different ones to choose from. Please never buy ANYTHING from this scam artist.

I had a terrible experience shopping here. The owner of the store is so pushy its ridiculous. When buying wigs, I like to take my time and consider all of my options so that I can find a wig that I truly love but the owner kept trying to quickly force me to buy her wig. I felt very uncomfortable and stressed which is not how I like to feel as a customer. I feel like the owner is too desperate for business and will tell you anything to get you to buy the wig. I didnt buy her wig, left her store, and found a better wig somewhere else.

Ive been visiting this store for about 5/6 years now. Im rating only 2 stars becasue that lady, Mickey will make you not want to visit. She doesnt know how to treat people when they come inside, when I go I dont always buy but I like to browse. I overheard her whispering to If she dont buy, she need to leave. Excuse me?! Only reason I continue to give this store my business is because of Natasha.People cant even try on wigs without Micky hovering and trying to pressure you to buy -- she is worse than a pushy car salesman. But Natasha is really courteous, patient and knows her stuff. I learned a lot about wigs because of her. When you go there ask for Natasha - shes always ready to help. Ive seen a lot of workers come and go but Tasha has remained consistant, I believe shes the only reason the place is still open.

Absolutely WORST customer service ever!! Its pathetic how they get mad when you dont buy a product. They have no prices on wigs but have an attitude when you ask the price. I wouldnt shop in here if someone payed me too.

Very friendly but over priced

Everytime I visit this hair supply store, the owner is very hawkish, rude, does not speak and follows you around as if youre a theif. The only reason why I visit this store is because the sales associate that work in there is very welcoming, knowledgeable about wigs and other hair products and I love the way she styles the wigs when I buy them. The sad part is that I probably past at least 20 hair supply stores driving from Riverview to Fletcher Ave. Im going to start going to the hair store in Brandon, they dont follow you around the store, has nice wigs also and they allow you to peaceably shop! I work hard for my money and it will spend anywhere!

Sisssss. I went to this store 3/31/18 around 845 am. The asian lady kept asking me if I know what I want if I need help. Mind you she was following me. So I asked the black woman to help me out she was very helpful and showed me a few wigs that I liked. I told her I will look around and if I dont find anything Ill be back. (I didnt love it so Im not buying it without seeing what other stores have). The black woman was very understanding gave me a card and said come back if you need anything else. Then the Asian lady started to drill me with questions. Trying to pressure me to buy for like a few minutes. Asked me if it is because I have a price range. Ha! She clearly doesnt know who keeps hair companies in business. I will probably never go to that store. Im not trying to have some lady following me like Im gonna shove a wig or products in my bag. I was thinking i cab atleast get my natural hair products herbut she clearly doesnt want to make ANY profit. Sis don t even come here it was such a waste of time. They need to just keep that lady behind the counter and keep her from speaking to anyone smh.

Never ever will i spand another penny here!!!!!! I was dealing with a sickness that caused my hair to fall. I wanted to feel beautiful again, so i walked into the store the customer service was ok ..anyway long story short i spent $500 on a wig that was suppose to last about 5 years at least thats what the lady told me ..Ive. Only had the wig for about 3 months and it looks horrible it never stopped. Shedding and it is extremely thin!!!! I do not recommend this place to anyone who is looking to feel beautiful or who wants to get their money worth!

This lady clearly tries to make ans force you to buy wigs never go here, the customer stated ahe reslky wanted to wait and ask her mom the owener completely ignored tge request and instisted she buy now. This lady wil say and do anything for the sale like saying yes its human clearly it says synthetic stay far from here
