The guy in the hut was so knowledgeable and helpful.. he even told us about the boat rentals and also how to make sure the shrimp stay alive while we fish... thanks so much for the help.

Good bait shop, yet their hours are horrible and confusing. Baitshops should be open by 6am Every Day. They open then close then open again on weekdays which is really annoying.

Good selection of bait in the vending machine and good deals on it.Whoever runs the actual bait shop on the weekends moves in slow motion and will take 15 minutes to get you your bait, as well as precisely counting each and every shrimp to make sure he doesnt give you one over 12.

Way too expensive 7 dollars for a dozen small shrimp I get 6 dozen for 13 dollars at gandy and there real med shrimp never get any bait here unless you have a lot of cash

Im not sure why this place is never open during their posted business hours. Add to that the fact that they open late and close early, close for lunch, and that the bait vending machine never works makes this place a waste of time. Ive made several wasted trips here.
