Had to come in this morning to get a tire replaced. Worked with the manager at the counter (not sure what good name was, maybe Bryce? He had white hair and a mustache) and while waiting for my car to be finished he was being absolutely berated by another customer. His handling of the situation was so professional and the way he de-escalated the situation with the man who was being an absolute nightmare (cussing the manager out, threatening him, tearing him up for things completely beyond his control, etc.) is really commendable. He’s clearly great at what he does and on top of his professionalism they were able to get us in and out pretty quickly for a last minute tire change.
When they go to put tires in this Wal-Mart, take out the lock nuts before, since they remove them with an gun impact and damage them and you have to find a mechanic to remove the other security because they do not do that job after damaging them. and they tell you that you come back with the amount of the extraction of the security nuts that professional
I had fast service. The staff was nice. I almost forgot I was at a Walmart.
Had an appt. Got there early they got me in and out with 4 new tires in under an hour. I also called around, it was only $60 more to just get brand new tires here than used elsewhere. Thanks guys!
What can I say about Nate (Manager) and Tasha that hasn’t been said a million times already. Both were honest, courteous and put the back into customer care. A mistake on another shift was handled professionally and promptly with Nate keeping his word to make good on the issue. Never once did either one make me feel like my satisfaction was a question and did so with pride. I do hope someone takes notice and gives Mrs. Tasha that Pepsi she earned a few times over, as well as a pat on the back for having these two genuine employees handling customers day in and day out!
Long wait. No the greatest customer service. But some of the staff do try and is affordable. So is good.
Good price on new tires! No seating though. Only 2 seats available for customers. I had to stand the entire time.
If it was possible to give Zero stars I would!!!!!!!I came to this Walmart to get my tire fixed the one tire I bought 3 months ago front this exact location!!! I brought my phone with the conformation code the address to this Walmart and the date and they told me they couldn’t find it so I had to pay for the tire I got 3 months ago, which I shouldn’t have had to pay for. Also all I needed was my tire fixed and they told me I needed a completely new tire which is not true! The last 3 people said that they said the same thing they came to get their tire fixed but ended up “needing” a new tire! And if that wasn’t bad enough, all of the workers there were not friendly and giving me attitude about the situation that they caused! This was the worst visit I have ever had! I will NOT be coming back to this Walmart!!! Worst Customer Service ever!
A bunch of people standing around not doing anything at all. Then telling everyone that theyre too busy to be able to do any new work very poor way to do business!
I went to Walmart Tampa - Gunn Hwy Auto Garage on yesterday to have my battery (in which was under warranty) replaced because it was leaking acid from the terminal in which caused my car not to start. When I got there at 3:12pm the garage Manager announced I would be the last customer even though their hours of operation states they close at 7pm. I was then told it would take 6 hours to have the battery changed. I took a Uber home and they called and told me they put a new battery in but my car wouldn’t start because my starter needed to be replaced. I went back at 9am today and examined my car to find the battery incorrectly connected with a corroded terminal. I immediately brought this to the Assistant Manager (Bryant) attention in which had my car pushed out the garage and told me to have it towed to a Mechanic. I adamantly requested the terminal to be replaced / or to have the terminal rewired to the battery all to no avail. I waited 8 hours at Walmart only to have Kenneth a phenomenal driver from AAA come to my rescue and go above and beyond. He completely removed the terminal and rewired it to the battery. He even cleaned off the terminal with Acid Detector spray and my car turned on instantly 🙌🏾. ‼️‼️‼️‼️WARNING‼️‼️‼️ The “Mechanic’s” and Management at this location are incompetent. They will negligently “fix” your car and lie to you when it doesn’t work.
The Tire Center needs better communication skills. I was told by different reps that i can get same day service, while the cashier who brought the purchased tires said an appointment was needed. All after the fact i waited 25mins without so much as a How May I Help you?
Worst place to get auto care. Worst service. Worst auto venue. Worst attendents. Please stay away from this place. They treat customer as if they are doing huge favour. Moreover they would not care to follow up more than once in case you miss their call and voice mail. Worst day with them.
Always a trustable location when I think of oil change, tire rotation, and new tire installation. What I loved about Walmart Car Care Center was that I could buy everything here for my car and the technicians will install it for free. The rate was reasonable, and lower than most lube services center anywhere. Huge selection of oil types, car care products, fluids, and filters were sold at a lowest possible price. I dropped my car here at 9:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning for the high-mileage oil change, fuel injector cleaning service, and two front tire change. The service was included carpet vacuum service, fluid level check, and fluid refill. They got the job done within 2 hours while I was shopping at the places nearby. Good service at a low rate!
They got overpriced over the last 5 years
Needed a tire i was told to make appointment. Had to leave with unsafe front tire.
A bit slower than I would have liked, but still got the job done.
Its a agent name Natasha thats work there she is so great it be real busy she be in there by herself taking care of business, she need a raise....a wonderful human u need more like her.. .
Ordered groceries for a pickup between 8-9am. Checked in with the app and still had to call after a 20 minute wait. Got home and 7 out of 18 eggs were broken.
Very quick service knowledgeable staff and very customer friendly staff will return
Nate helped my family with auto care, he was amazing, super helpful, funny and professional!
They don’t know what they are doing took 6 guys to change a tire
Terrible service ill never shop at Walmart ever again
I still really like the guys that work here. Every time I go they remember me they are very helpful and probably some of the nicest guys Ive met. I couldnt ask for more from store employees! Thank you guys for being so helpful!
Got the $19.99 Pit Crew oil change and I was in and out in 25 minutes. Realizing it was 10 am and about 8 customers were presentGood deal!
Great service and very fast.
This place is really really bad and slow. I was there at 7:30 in the morning and left the store at 12:30 pm. Really bad morning service manager. He was so rude and not helpful at all. They do everything they can do you don’t service cars at this place. Will never go back not worth the cheap prices
Questionable wether they could repair a flat or not went from $20 to $100 for a new tire but service was lacking overall.
Mildly incompetent poor communication wont answer the phone
The best you find everything in there
Ive always been well taken care of here. Thank you!
Techs were really helpful and went above and beyond the call of duty.
Got four Goodyear Wranglers 245/75 16s for $93 a tire. Took them about three hours. They didnt seem to move very fast but they did a good job and the price was right. Get there early and during a weekday.
Good service fast too
Good service and fast
Don’t try and call cause they won’t answer. tried calling 2 days in a row to make an appointment and they don’t pick up. they can’t even pick up a phone.. wouldn’t trust them with my car.
Long wait. Nothing special about the service. Just an oil change.
Great got everything I needed!
They do a pretty good job. Tires and oil changes.
Very expensive for cheap material
Review for the CITRUS PARK WALMART in Tampa, Fl First they broke my dipstick and told me that somebody else had done it (nobody had worked on my car and the broken part miraculously appeared in my glove box) and they don’t seem to be certified or good mechanics since they don’t even have the knowledge of how to remove a battery from a Ford. They have bad attitudes and tell you one thing one day then you get there the next day and they just shrug their shoulders and say you need an appointment when they could’ve told you to do it in the first place.
I had a battery replacement that I needed and was told that it could take up to two hours. I had an infant with me and Im also currently sick. They got me in and out in only about 45 minutes. I was so happy that they seemed to take my situation into consideration. I appreciate the quick service today greatly.
Staff was polite. Went in for new tires. Cant beat $38 for all season tires!

Good oil, good tires, potent batteries, great tires
Man at auto counter was having a tough day. Not very pleasant.
Good fast service
Worst Walmart every. They wasted 2 hours of my day because they offered High mileage oil change but only in synthetic oil. They guy at the counter had many opportunities to inform me of this. I told him I only wanted a regular oil. They call me two hours later to tell me they didn’t offer regular oil. Thanks Nate
This place is HORRIBLE. Awful customer service. They stop taking cars at 5pm even though they are open until 7pm. They dont do appointments unless you are getting tires put on. What a joke. I recommend taking your business across the street to pep boys. At least they are reasonably priced and dont treat you like garbage.
They took so long to get the paperwork together for my oil change that multiple cars arrived AFTER me and ended up going BEFORE me to get their oil changed. Everyone had a different answer for what needed to be done with my car. Disorganized. Not very knowledgeable staff. I left, and they never did get the paperwork together.
Great service and fast
The gentleman really nice
We really appreciate everything the staff do at the auto center. They really have to put up with a lot of pain in the behind customers and yet they still treat you with respect and are also very efficient on getting the cars ready..
Busy place!! 3 hour wait before they even start to work on your car!! No appointments, first come, first served.Friendly service though. But consider the wait or plan on getting someone to pick you up and take you back.
Great service, just be patient
The guys working in the front were awesome! Very helpful and friendly! One of the guys was Mike and the other I think was training to be an asst. manager but didn’t get his name.
After calling and bring kept on hold for over 30 minutes, they made my purchase do much better by giving me a discount. Thank you Walmart. I am usually there at least 2-3 times a week.
Quick and good service
Really good service. Went in for new tires, and even with a long wait, the staff was super helpful despite being very busy. Reason its a 4 and not a 5 was because they did not call us when the tires were done, we had to go check. But again, I completely understand because they seemed slammed today.
Horrible service! Never again
Never easy to get in and out of this place. Not conveniently marked signs for entrance. Staff is dull and unimpressive. 2 hour wait to get a nail pulled out at 10:30 in the morning. I have their warranty. I can go to a tire shop and pay five bucks and get it done in 15 minutes. 1 hour wait just to have an oil change. Plus the time it takes to get it done. Better off going to Jiffy Lube in and out in 15 minutes. Staff didnt seem concerned working at a slow pace. Shop people look sleepy and tired.
Walmart is one of the best stores that I have ever seen. Prices are awesome compared to other companies. The one thing that I would like to comment on is that they need to clean the trash up around the auto shop.
Tire center team in Gunn Hwy are by far the most professional and knowledgeable. Wal-Mart leadership needs to adequately staff though.. Its always a 2 to 4 HR wait.. Also get someone to answer the phones and make that there dedicated job!!
Fairly fast service, good pricing, clean waiting room although a little small. Tire service completed in under 2 hours with 3 cars ahead of me. Russ was extremely helpful and explained everything in detail.
I bought 4 tires for my vehicle at an excellent price. Service was great
Didnt have what I need
Always affordable. Wait times are reasonable. Staff is knowledgeable and kind.
Long wait for not being busy
Every experience I’ve had at this location has been great. I’m an early bird so getting in and out has never been an issue. They told me all of the fees and pricing upfront which made my tire search a fairly easy process!! I would recommend coming as early as possible, because they do have a lot of customer traffic!!
The guys are doing just great . Recommend!
The service manager went above and beyond to get my battery changed as quickly as possible on a busy day.
Service is usually quick, decent deal on tires if they have what you want.
Went for a car battery. In and out!
Good service and people
I dropped off my car to change the tires that I bought from Walmart online. The whole transaction was smooth and painless. I shopped while the job was being done and I got a call from the clerk when they were finished. Everyone was frienly and professional and the prices was really good.
VERY VERY BUSY SHOP!! Took all day to get 4 new tires that were in stock. 60,000 mi Goodyear tires were about $460 with a warranty. Manager is cool, maybe needs a vacation.
I took my car in for an oil change. They did not resecure the Splash shield which caused $200 in damage to my car. I highly recommend that you take your car elsewhere.
I went to Walmart Auto Care Centers to oil change and replace two tires. They lost the screws from my skid plate and it fell off two days later. I came back to fix it and they only put the broken skid plate back. Now I have to buy it and pay for all the expenses.
They did exactly the job they said they would do, which is change my headlamp bulbs. Please note that they stop accepting customers at 5:30 to accommodate the 7pm closing time. This caused me a problem at 2 different locations for 3 days in a row until an associate explained that policy, which is not posted. It would be helpful if it were posted. It is also a good policy so that people cant show up at 645 wanting something.Ive noticed all the Walmart auto centers are jammed busy and the one person in the check out area is slammed with phone calls constantly. They always seem stressed (not just this location).
I went in on a Saturday morning. I explained that I needed my valve stem replaced on my Dodge Nirtro. They said it would be a three hour wait. I go back the next morning at 7:30 and they say I have to get a specific valve stem. I drive to an auto parts store to get the valve stem and get back to the auto service department and Ive been sitting in the waiting room for three hours and my car was just brought in the garage. Wont be coming back here again!
Great service and great staff
Bought new battery. Have been buying tires here for year. Great place.
This is the worst experience I’ve ever had spending my money anywhere. Over the course of 3 days they made my life hell. I wanted one tire replaced and they replaced the wrong one on day one. They also put a ruined spare on my car which exploded on the highway. I came back livid that they put me in danger and demanded they replace the RIGHT tire and they still charged me for “tire removal” although they screwed up on multiple accounts the day before. I had to come back the next day (day 3) at open (7am) as they guaranteed I’d be in and out. When I arrived they treated me like dirt and acted like I was crazy and used the words “we don’t make mistakes” (okay mr.walmart employee, you’re perfect we get it). Even after all this, I was there for 4 hours and missed a meeting at my job because of it. I finally get the RIGHT tire replaced, get in my car, and I find that they’ve ripped the headliner fabric off the top of my car, and I’m now tasked with learning how to replace that myself as I do NOT Trust these morons, and I can’t afford to pay $200 for an aesthetic fix. Worst experience of my life.
They help you without trying to rip you off! They could have tried to take advantage of me being a lady and not knowing what needed fixing and instead they found the problem and fixed it perfectly and affordably. Highly recommended. Thank you and I plan on getting all my repairs done here!
Really worth of buying tires at Walmart and their auto services are very reasonable and staff is very good at service
Terrible wait time. 3 or more hours of wait time depending on the service you need to have on your vehicle. I had to replace my tires and after complaining about the wait time they started to work on my car. While sitting on the parking lot I noticed they had skipped my vehicle to accommodate other customers that came after me. It was only after i threatened to call corporate that they started working on my car. As a result I had to reschedule other pertinent appointments i had. If you plan on changing tires make sure you dont schedule any appointments for the day you come to this place.
Came here to get my battery replaced Corniylous was very helpful and took good care of me. He originally said it was a 2hr wait but I was called back in less than Half an hour! He didnt try to sell me anything extra or waste my time. I am Very satisfied!
They have the best prices on Mobil One oil. Friendly staff this time.
I just went to have some keys made..the cashiers were very nice.
Staff was very pleasant, got my battery check out, it was bad put one in whole time there was maybe. 30 to 40 minutes very good time, fastest time ever .
Good place to buy your car synthetic oil.
Unorganized. Messy. Long lines and wait. Needs better management
Great service. Fast and reliable. Look for Nelson the Pappi hes knowledgeable and very polite too
I was there for a new battery. I received good service.
Fast and courteous but low on tire selection
Wal-Mart - Has absolutely horrible customers services. No matter day or night Its always the same or worst experiences.
Too long wait at checkouts. Associates dont know correct information or location of items.
Steer clear of this place, their service has grossly declined over the years and prices have seemed to increase. I was there this morning from 6:30-8:30 am. (They open @ 7) Would have been finished earlier if the latina girl at the desk would have paid more attention to waiting customers than stocking items and called me out of the waiting room when my tire was actually ready. I had to ask after over an hour how much longer it would be, then she shuffles through some papers and checks me out. GeezzzzzAlso they are renovating the auto center until June 14 so its extremely loud to sit in the tiny waiting area. All the employees back there are extremely indifferent, even the gray-haired manager. He could barely muster a sad little hello. Wal-Mart should just close it...really.
Slow staff. They think that they are making you a favor for changing your oil. Always are talking between them while we are Waiting for service. Today March 1st 2019 they told me that I need to wait about 2-3 hours. If they can hurry up they can make the oil change for all cars in less than an hour. So fkd we went to pepboys cross the street and change my oil in less than half hour. Just cost me about $10 extra but worth it. Now Im free to keep going. I dont see anybody there who can be the boss and hurry the personnel. I never back there anymore.
