DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY DON’T STAND BEHIND THIER WORK. This is a follow-up to a 5 star review I gave this company. They replaced my windshield and sent a technician to calibrate my front camera. I’m now having problems with the front camera being out of calibration and they won’t warranty their work. They want me to pay them another $350. What kind of company doesn’t stand behind their work? The excuse they gave me is that I could have hit a pot hole. Really?

I called Monday 08/02/2021 paid cash for a windshield replacement 279.999 was told a technician would be at my house between 9am and 2 pm on Tuesday 08/03/2021 and the tech would call when he was a hour out, so Tuesday came and it was about 145 and after sitting at the house all day waiting for them and haven’t heard anything I started calling was given the run around was told to leave voicemail and someone would call me back after calling about 7 times someone finally called me back at 2:30 and told that the windshield was damaged at the warehouse this morning, why didn’t anyone call and tell me hey we won’t be there today, so I spoke with a supervisor and she tells she is sorry and we will have you the first stop Wednesday 08/04/2021 and the tech will call when he’s on his way so I call this morning at 930 and I was told the tech was still loading glass into the truck and we don’t know what time he will be here, I am getting the run around and they already took there money. What a great way to treat a returning customer,

Called was quoted a good price. Came the next day. But left a lot of glass in the back of the van and inside the door which made the trunk not open without a lot of work from the inside of the van and the outside. And now every time we open up the back hatch it rattles with glass and glass falls out. I would have given them 5 stars had they cleaned up the glass and not let all of it fall inside the door.

Absolutely garbage company!! Called in the morning to have a windshield replaced said they could be there that day. Great, except no one showed up because they scheduled it for the wrong day. How do you do that when it was the same day? Will never use again because they cannot schedule.

It has been only two (days) since the installation but so far, I am very happy with my experience with Same Day Windshield. The job was done in a timely manner and for the most part I was satisfied. However the installer did not have the adequate tools to remove all the broken glass from my door. Now when I drive to do it rattles from some of the broken glass been left inside.

Lets start by saying, they should not be named Same Day! Called on a Monday morning. They couldnt get to me until Tues. Ok, no problem. They call Tues morning and said they were out of the glass for my vehicle. It would not be in until Thursday. I set up the second appointment for Fri. Friday comes around and I get a call that the installer had an emergency and could not do it that day. (They only have one installer???) Reschedule for Monday (a week after I initially called) between 9-2. I told them that I get off work at 3pm so they needed to be here before then. Monday comes around and I get a call that he will be here between 2-5pm. Once again I explained I get off work at 3pm. She assures me he will be here before then. At 1:30 pm I had not heard from anyone so I called. The office could not reach the installer. Said she would have him call me. Received a call from the installer a little after 2pm. He will not be here by 3pm. Set it up to install at my home. Shows up around 4:20 and installs the windshield. Everyone I talked to was very nice but their scheduling is horrible. Did not leave a very good impression.

Within three hours of my call, two guys were in my driveway installing a new windshield.They were very courteous and kind. I was confused about the breakage of my windshield and they took the time to explain the damage as well as the replacement process.They installed the correct windshield, which was a big win. The previous windshield either was installed incorrectly or was the wrong windshield, so my wipers smacked the frame when they were on. Now, the gaskets around the windshield fit correctly, the wipers work properly and I’m a happy camper.

The guys had it together when they were out here doing the windshield they worked good as a team and it was professionally done they went to extra mile plus were gonna get a $100 in the mail thats a good benefit.

This was a struggle between 1 and 3 stars. Yes, I got the $100 check and cashed it but boy was it painfully earned. I called in for my windshield on a Friday and they were supposed to come out Saturday. Called me Saturday, they dont have the correct windshield in stock so they cant come until Tuesday - so I could not drive my car all weekend because it continued to crack worse in the sun. Then Tuesday they are FOUR HOURS late. So I was late to a meeting and had to borrow someone elses car which was extremely inconvenient. Afterward they needed to send out someone different to recalibrate my window. How convenient, her car breaks down and she cant make it. Once again, I have to reschedule. The technician is again TWO HOURS late. I have to borrow someone elses car yet again for a meeting. This entire transaction consisted of probably 10 phone calls, hours of waiting, and took over a week to get done. Worth the $100? I will let you decide. I am still not sure if it was lol...

We have a new 2021 model Mercedes. When we called Mercedes for a replacement they told us it would be $2400 deposit and then they would tell us the projected delivery date. Pressing them for a date they thought 4 to 6 months. We called this service and they got us a replacement in 4 weeks and the insurance company paid for the replacement. No question we are pleased with our experience. Great job Same Day.

Called Same Day Windshield on February 1, 2021 for a front windshield replacement appointment made for the next day. The technician did not do the right job my car was getting went. I reached out the came for a warranty repair. All he did was put silicone. Here we go a month later my truck is soaked. Called the company to notify for the third time I got transfer to a voicemail “ warranty center “ I called again asked for a manager a lady name Jessica “manager” did not have an answer either. I asked her when can you put a claim or schedule an appointment so they can come out. She said she will need to speak to the warranty department first. I hope I hear from the soon or I’ll will be showing up at their location! QUICK TO CHARGE AND BOOK BUT NO RESPONSE FROM WARRANTY ???

I will not use them again. I had to wait (5)extra days because they thought it was suppose to rain, they came the next day with the wrong window shields. The following day i did not hear anything back so i called on Thursday to ask whats going on with getting my window shields replaced and the guy said, OH, we have to order you another window shield because it was the wrong one. I called them at about 2 o’clock on Thursday afternoon and on Friday at about 1 o’clock they arrived at my home to do the job.The two men on this particular crew worked neatly and cleaned up the area thoroughly before leaving.Obviously I would have preferred to never have met them but seeing as I had to have someone I’m glad it was them because I’m satisfied .

They drove all the way out to me asal and fixed my rear window fast and efficiently. A life saver.

The tech came quick and installed it quickly, but he put a gash in my dash and broke the housing of my rearview mirror broke a piece of my windshield water guard, and left dirt marks on my head liner.When he told me he was done I looked on the outside and it looked good, he told me I can back it up in the garage, once I got inside my car and saw all issues mentioned up top I went back out to talk to him about it and he was already in his truck and gone. All of these things are minor and most likely would have over looked them if he was upfront and told me about them. But because he was not honest about them it makes me ask what else is wrong that I cant see. Will post pictures.Worst thing is they werent even the cheapest out there.

This company has an Audi car graphic as soon as you open their website; yet after being on hold for over half an hour, the attendant tells me they cant get the vent glass for my Audi or my Volkswagen simply because they just cant order it. Its hilarious and sad to have website graphics that do not correlate with this companys business practices.

Called on Tuesday for a windshield replacement for my car. Made appointment for Thursday no problem- I can wait. Thursday leave work early and get a call that windshield got damaged in warehouse. Okay. Reschedule for Friday they come with the wrong windshield. Because someone did not put the VIN in the system. Okay. I get it mistakes are made. But Today appointment for the afternoon - get message windshield damaged. And need to speak to someone else there for OEM. Done. Wasted my time and loss of time at work cancelled with them. Will go with someone else. Avoid.

After searching on google I found this company which immediately responded and made the process easy. Same day installation after one hour of placing my call. Will always go through these guys to replace windows on my vehicles.

Used them to replace a jeep wrangler oem windshield. Customer service was very helpful with the whole process with insurance for oem glass. First installers didnt do a great job and there was a defect in glass, however same day service gave me no issues when I called and they made it right by coming back out and reinstalling a new one under warranty. Just received my $100 check less than a week later. overall everyone was very professional, they stand by there work and I would use them again.

After calling a few other companies with long wait or hold times in the phone. Same Day Windshield was Profesional and my Windshield was replaced within hours. Profesional installation and clean workmanship.

My appointment was scheduled from 9am-2pm. I dont mind the time span but when your tech comes to you @4:45 and then takes 20 minutes to do the job, I was quite upset! I didnt get a reschedule till 3pm after wasting my entire day and my DMV appointment! I took a shot at these guys despite the negative reviews but the reviews are true. Great work but a waste of an entire day for it and no one even talked or gave me the $100 advertised.

They were very friendly on phone the only thing is they asked if i wanted am or pm service, I requested 9 am to 1pm service and he didnt show up till 1:30, everything else was fantastic he was very nice . Done in 1 hour and I was at work so the time wasnt a big issue

THEY ARE NOT GOOD! i had my windshield replaced due to a large crack. They came in on time surprisingly. However after installation i noticed the whole trim was lifted i was concerned and asked about it and he mentioned it was the clips, Which they broke!!! a few days later not even a week we had heavy rain luckily i had to make a store run and noticed my car was soaked! Which has NEVER happened before. i called the company and they mentioned the next day they would come. same guy came and wanted to blame my sunroof for the leak mind you i have never had this issue! he told me oh its like a cold one day you have it one day you wont. i call BS i never had leaks in my car until after my windshield was replaced.

Every windshield company in my area (Sarasota) quoted me over 100$ more than same day windshields did, so it was a no brainer to accept their quote. They told me my technician would arrive between 9AM - 2PM. Kevin came at 9AM Sharp and texted me before he arrived, and completed the rear windshield replacement in 20 minutes! He also advised me to not retint my windshield for a couple days so the glue would stick. Thank you Kevin and the rest of the team for the quick and easy work!

Justin Surface was the young man who came and replaced our window in our Rav 4. What a professional, polite, young man. So refreshing to see that. He worked quickly to replace our window and wven cleaned up the glass in our Rav. He is definitely an asset to your business. Service was quick! As for the lady who took our call it is a different story. She acted as if our insurance was not good enough when we had already contacted them and they said it was covered under our comprehensive policy. No deductable. We tried to explain that yet she still gave us a hard time. My husband finaly told her we would pay for it and my insurance would reimburse us. I guess she did not want to do the extra work of filing for it.

As long as I get my $100 check in a few days this would be the best experience I have had replacing a windshield. One call they scheduled for between 9:00am - 2:00pm called at 11:00am said they would be there between 12:00-:1:00. They pulled up around 12:45 and had the window done in about 45 min...best experience!!

Called Safelite number. Same-day windshield must contract to Safelite. Their tech came and replaced my windshield on March 4th. He called before he came (as promised) and showed up on time. He was very, very fast at taking out the old windshield and installing the new one but he was also very, very reckless. He managed to damage my less than one year old car in three places (all cosmetic). I pointed it out to him but what was he supposed to do?A day later, we got the survey from Same Day and I told them what had happened (even supplying pictures of the damage). I did not hold out a lot of hope. The damage was done. What could they do?They really came through - far exceeding my expectations. They paid for repair of most of the damages (other than the small dent in my hood). And were very nice about it all.If I needed a similar repair again, I am not sure whether Id use their services again. Accidents do happen and sometimes people just have bad days. Maybe any windshield repair company might make the same mistakes. But I have to say that they really handled my issue well.

Highly recommend this business. The process was easy and simple. I called for a windshield replacement and they handled contacting my insurance company on my behalf. Afterwards I was told the repair will be done the same day. I was given a expected time of arrival. Within an hour I got a call back from the rep. to explain that my windshield was not in stock and they would have to order it and set another date which was for 2 days out to get the part. Demand to speak with leadership.)Same Day Windshields is a completely misleading name and a flat out lie from my experience. Same day, how about I scheduled earlier this week for Saturday. Today is Saturday and I set aside a 5 hour window of time only to be called by the installer with the news that the seal was not ordered. At least its before 9am so my day was not completely ruined sitting and waiting for the call. Then I get a call from dispatch to reschedule my appointment saying that the seal was ordered but was not inspected upon receipt and was only inspected today. Seems like the installer and dispatcher need to get their stories straight. Still, its early in the morning on Saturday and SAME DAY Windshields cant pull their mistake together to get my windshield repaired today, so I get to wait until next Saturday driving with a badly cracked windshield because as I stated at the beginning of this review, same day was absolutely not my experience. More like Same MONTH Windshields.The plot continues to thicken. I make arrangements to borrow a vehicle to drive so that our windshield can now be replaced on Monday. I call Same Day Windshield and explain they failed their appointment today and I was rescheduled for next Saturday but wanted to change to Monday. The CSR couldnt understand me and kept mentioning same day repair, so I asked to speak with a member of leadership. I was transferred to such a person who told me yet another lie (this time the actual windshield was damaged) as to what happened with the failed appointment today and then stated that they depend on warehouses that cannot stock every windshield. I asked if I called on a weekday, if they can order in a windshield from the warehouse same day and she said no they could not. So, there you go... a full acknowledgement that they cannot usually offer same day service, even though their name is Same Day Windshields. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone and can recommend that you look elsewhere for a company that at least had a shred of honesty. Despicable!The owner did respond to my review asking me to contact the operations manager, which I did. She apologized for my experience and assured me she would review calls and retrain as necessary. She also expedited my $100 rebate check, so that was nice of her. She was professional and listened to my words, which may have been a bit harsh, but honest, at times. I left feeling a wee bit better about my experience.A couple weeks have passed since Same Day Windshields has replaced the glass in our Highlander. This is my vehicle and only I drive it. I have not been working since it was replaced, so its only been for errands. I would have been aware if anything struck the window, yet when we went out to the car on Sunday morning, there was a crack going from the very edge of the window and half-way across. We have security cameras and nothing was on them. So, I call Same Day Windshields to see what I need to do about a warranty replacement since this is a clear case of defective materials and workmanship. The representative on the phone tells me their warranty does not cover glass under any circumstance and it only covers the seal. Hmmm...I thought I read it covers both materials (which would mean the glass as well as the seal and any other materials they use) and workmanship? Nope.I did ask to speak with the operations manager, Gloria, who was not yet in and left a message for her. Gloria did call me back right away. She expressed that I was told incorrectly. Their warranty does covers all materials and workmanship, but she did point out that most cracks are usually the result of damage and not defect. I agreed to send her some photos as she said it was really easy to tell from pictures. To give Same Day Windshields credit where credit is due, Gloria did proactively order new glass and put me on the schedule for replacement pending the determination of the cause.

Excellent service and fast they repair my back window and cheap

The two technicians was nice. With coronavirus in our state of Florida, and being a hotspot, both men should have had on protected masks entering my property at home. However, I put on my mask and had to make sure they place my rear view mirror back onto my windshield and remove the black rubber seal from the top of my car and hood. Had to request a copy of the receipt, ask how long to wait to drive my car as well as getting the car wet.Thank you for allowing me to write this review.

This started as a simple windshield replacement. However, the insurance company systems were down. The app, the website, the internal systems. So, when the installer showed up, he had the wrong windshield even though I questioned it with the dispatcher who assured me that the VIN had been run etc. etc. So, AFTER the wrong windshield arrived and was taken away, they sent another installer out. He had the right windshield and did I fine job. Except that he apparently nicked a wire reconnecting the rearview mirror, so it didnt work properly. He came out this morning and fixed it. I guess the moral of the story is the 3rd time is a charm. Even with the confusion and error, they were excellent and speedy with the follow up. Id recommend them.

It didnt take long after I called for the young lady to confirm my information with my insurance company, schedule me service for the same day. Awesome. The young lady explained their process to me and she explained why I should choose them. Excellent presentation. The first phone call set the tone of a very professional, stress-free experience. The installer was very professional and explained in detail the process. He called ahead and was done within 20 minutes. I thought I was going to get in and go soons he finished. I am glad he explained to wait an HR. And 48 hrs. Before washing. They have a reward program. If you are insured in the state of Florida with comprehensive coverage and zero deductible they will send you a $100.00 reward check after you go online after the completed work with the invoice number and fill in your information. For the front windshield only. I was sad and a little worried that my front windshield was shattering, Each day a lot more, but it was a pleasure dealing with them.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because there were several errors in the system which delayed my repair twice, but when it finally went through the process was simple and quick.

Lester was the gentleman who installed the rear windshield of my vehicle. He worked very fast installing the glass as he was trying to get the work done before the rain came down and he did succeed in doing so. He was patiently waiting for me to arrive at the location we had agreed upon, which actually worked out well considering my appointment time wasnt supposed to be until later in the day. It was a win win. Thank you so much for your service because not long after I left the location it poured down with rain on the way back home.

I had another company not show up, so, I contacted Same Day. They set the appointment for 9 to 2 the next day. The guys showed up at around 8:30, which was great for me. My daughter was amazed at how fast the guys pulled the old windshield out and put the new one in. The workmanship is spot on. If I ever have to replace another windshield, Ill definitely be calling Same Day!

From the time I first called to place my order to the time I had a new windshield professionally installed was approximately three hours. The young man that came to install my windshield was Mike Rydell, and he was very professional and knowledgeable of his job.And I will recommend this company to any and all of my friends and family in the future.
