Greg and his team did an amazing job for me - its important to praise businesses when they deliver, and Primos did just that, under budget and very fast turnaround. How often do you find that? Upon inspection they found additional damage and could easily have made me purchase a replacement part, but instead ingeniously repaired it, saving me $$. I got really lucky getting these guys for my first accident repair. Had a guy T-Bone me. My insurance said primo was good. Because I wasnt at fault as soon as I talked to Primo they informed me to use the coverage of the guy that hit me, which my own insurance did not tell me. Thats just the first way I can thank them. Kindest people ever. Took a while but it was quite an extensive repair, because his insurance company held up the bar but Greg and Rose fought on my behalf to get it done without any expense to me. Almost feel like the car is better than before the accident. Really not trying to brag. The handling feels stiffer which I enjoy. It was defiantly too lose before. Makes me think what the manufacturer was actually trying to pass off to me in the first place. Cant thank you guys enough. If anything else, hopefully it never happens in the future but if so I will definitely come to you guys and tell everyone else too as well.

Fixed a sizable dent/scrape on my 2007 Toyota Prius. It looks absolutely gorgeous, and you cant even tell anything was ever damaged. They also provided a complimentary basic detail inside and out, which I have never had any auto repair shop do! It feels like Im in a new car again, not a 10 year old one. They also worked seamlessly with my insurance. 10/10!

I just picked up my Nissan Pathfinder from Primo, and it looks better than new! Greg quickly scheduled my repairs and took care of all the paperwork with the insurance company. My bumper looks great, they detailed the inside and outside of my car, and fixed a small leak in the transmission (at no extra cost)! I am exceedingly pleased with the friendly attitude, efficiency, and quality workmanship at Primo! I would not hesitate to take my vehicle there again should the need arise!

I have known Greg for almost 10 years now and he is one of the best people I know. It wasnt until last week that I was in the unfortunate spot of utilizing his services. He didnt disappoint. HIs officer manager, Rose, and Greg took care of the insurance, rental car, fought the insurance company when there was hidden damage once the bumper was taken off, and kept me informed throughout. Our car looks perfect like it was never rear ended by an incompetent driver. Cant recommended them high enough.

Truly the best auto body shop Ive ever been to! From the time I called until after the repair, this place went above and beyond. Great shop, great owner, and my car looked better than new when I got it back. It took a while to get my car into their repair schedule because theyre so busy. But I chose to wait since the damage to my car was relatively minor and their reviews were so good compared to others in the area. They went above just repairing the damage; they detailed my car and polished away the paint scratches! She was sparkling when I got her back. Greg and Rose were great in providing me information on my rights as a claimant and explaining the repair process. I wouldnt hesitate recommending Primo to a friend.

I recently had someone back into my 2013 Camry, requiring me to have the bumper and trunk lid replaced and repainted. My insurance company wrote the initial estimate with only used parts and aftermarket parts. The owner Greg was able to make sure that proper Toyota parts were used and my car turned out great!

I originally came here because they had such a great reviews on here, and I could tell why they had such good reviews right away. After just a few minutes I could tell their primary concern was the quality of their work. They have a very friendly staff and even offered to take me back home when I dropped my car off. When I went back I found they they had detailed my car, inside and out. An honest business that cares about their customers, there arent many businesses like this around anymore. They made a not so great situation (vehicle damage) and made it a pleasant experience. I recommend this place to everyone.

The damages to my Avalanche were repaired expertly. The truck looks like it just came from the Chevy factory. Unfortunately my other vehicle, Volvo XC90, was hit and I will be returning to Primo Auto Collision for the repair also. I recommend Primo for superior work, professionalism, and courtesy.

Recently we had the misfortune of being in an accident where the front of our car was significantly damaged. We decided to go with a local establishment for repair. At the last moment we checked reviews, finding that our local business was rated B-, with multiple unanswered concerns. At that point we did some more investigation, locating Primo Auto Collision. They took the car in, completely repaired everything from what we could see and couldnt see, keeping us fully informed throughout the process. Greg and Rose were excellent to deal with. I would easily give them a 6-star rating if there was one! Primo is not the closest to us by any means, but it was well worth the additional travel to get such excellent service.

This is a great place that uses originally parts and who will fight with your insurance company. They also do a great job repairing your car and makes it seem like the damage never happened. I would highly recommend this place.

I am a professional mechanic and very picky when it comes to body work because there are alot of bad shops out there. This is not one of them. They use all OEM parts and their attention to detail is great. Gaps are perfect, there is no over spray and everything is polished looking good as new. Highly recommended.

If you are looking to get your car put back together exactly the way it was before you got in an accident this is the place. Most the employees have been here 15-20 years or more and I think they are probably on the preferred list for every major insurance company. If they get into your vehicle and find out that the insurance company underestimated the repairs they will go to bat for you and get you more money to make sure your car is put back properly with new Factory parts. I would not take my vehicle anywhere else.

These guys did fantastic work with my truck but the girl who worked at the desk and checked me in was one of the rudest and disrespectful people I have ever met. She made me regret going there.

When we first moved to Tampa my vehicle was broken into and I was referred to Greg and Primo Auto Collision to fix the damage. I met Greg and he assured me that the vehicle would look as good as new and to not worry. He also pointed out that there was over-spray all over the vehicle from a previous repair and he said that he would take care of that as well. When I picked up the vehicle, on the day it was promised to me, I could not believe how good not only the damage done by the break-in looked but also the rest of the vehicle. Greg had his employees clay the entire vehicle to get all the previous over-spray off and detail the entire vehicle. My vehicle looked like it just came off the showroom floor! The repair was perfect and the paint matching was perfect, which is very difficult especially for a black vehicle. Greg had exceeded my expectations on all levels and since that time my wife has been involved in several accidents and the first place I call is Greg at Primo because I know her vehicle will be taken care of right the first time and it will be done on time! Amazing personal customer service!

Super professional and extremely knowledgeable.Knew the ins and outs of dealing with my insurance and were easy to contact with questions or for updates.Long time frames are quoted, but its to allow for shipping delays and the perfectionism their mechanics/painters employ. I got lucky and actually got my van back about 5 days quicker than I thought. And it was PERFECT. Even the black paint was matched flawlessly (ask them how, its pretty cool).Hopefully I dont have another reason to, but Primo is the only place Ill be taking any of my vehicles for body work.

I called Primo because it was recommended, and what a mistake it was. I simply asked if I could get an estimate and the person on the phone went off on me. It was extremely off putting to call in a time of need to then feel like I was such an inconvenience to the company. There is a way to sell your brand/company, but brushing someone off for asking a question is not the way to do so.

I just had a crash and was all over the place. Greg was far more than kind and empathic. I am glad I came here.

I highly recommend Primo for Auto Collision Repair. My experience with Greg and his shop was top notch. Here’s what happened. I got into a minor rear end collision and wanted to confirm there was no damage that I couldnt see myself. I took my BMW to a dealership-recommended shop and the associate looked at my bumper very briefly and determined there was nothing wrong. I didn’t feel quite satisfied and even though I could not see any visible damages myseelf, I was left wondering if the guy did a thorough job. So, I googled body shops and found Primo with a great rating. I called and Greg told me to stop by. He was super professional, friendly and courteous. He checked the rear end and even got under the bumper. His determination was the same as the other Body Shop’s inspection but Greg’s professionalism and effort was far superior. Greg noticed a few scuffs and offered to buff them out for me. He brought over his Detail associate and had him detail the trim around my car. Greg showed me that my bumper was intact and everything looked good. He also took me around his shop to see the quality of his work. This guy obviously loves what he does and treats every car with the same professionalism and attention to detail as would a car manufacturer. The quality is outstanding from the paint matching, polishing, panel repairs and from using OEM parts versus after-market. Hopefully, I won’t need his services but it makes me feel better knowing that if my precious car was ever in an accident, his shop would take care of it and the car would come out like new.

I was going to take my vehicle here to get fixed through my insurance. The 2 gentlemen I spoke to were polite, but the day I was taking my car to get an estimate the lady that picked up was very rude and then when my husband got there with my car she was very rude to him as well. If you do not like working customer service then why work the front desk, they are just going to keep losing business because of her. She needs an attitude overhaul. I took my business elsewhere.

During my auto accident, I suffered a sprained shoulder. I had to focus on my health full time and if it werent for Rosies careful diligence, All State would have dumbed down the value of my car with after market parts. Primo made the whole process super easy for me.I also appreciated that they do a 30 day check up following repairs to make sure there arent any related issues that arise. Standard for this 30 day is a complementary wax and detail job which was much appreciated!Thanks Primo!

Primo auto is a locally owned auto body repair shop in Tampa and Ive heard nothing but great things about the company and the owner Greg. Greg has founded Primo in 1981 and relys on word of mouth business. I live in Riverview and I wouldnt think of using anyone else and I would send any friends or family in need of his great service.

Although the secretary was rude, Greg the owner was extremely nice and understanding. Great service.

Greg has done work on both my cars. My father-in-law was rear-ended while driving our Honda Odyssey by a mack truck. Both the front (where the car was pushed into the car ahead of him) and of course the rear were damaged. Greg was great and helped us with a few minor issues after the repair was completed. Most recently I went in with my car...I scraped the side on our carport. He without even hesitating asked me to wait and he had his guys buff out the scratches. Great guy honest and hard working and ALWAYS looking to satisfy his customers. No wonder he has been in business for 30 years+!
