If youre looking for good Vietnamese eats at a great price this place have them. Forget the decor and just appreciate the great value. Probably not a good place to impress a date.
Went for a particular item. Store is full of merchandise. Store is not full of helpful employees. Tried 3 times. Put the basket back and walked out. I did not have it in me to keep looking for items. Too bad. There were tempting items. Furthermore the scent was very strong. Very very very strong. So many Asian groceries have pleasant odors about them along with helpful staff i think next time i will just drive further!
Everything I need as asian is there and even more because they give you reward being a good customer!
Although the store is mainly vietnamese, I am able to find most ingredients for my Thai recipes. I love to try new things and they have a wide variety of vegetables and a meart and fish market.
They had a variety of meats and vegetables. If you look lost and confused like me they will gladly assist you. They were very helpful.
Good selection, fresh food, only downside was the isles were very cramped. Its hard to walk through w a shopping cart
Had a lot of foods and ingredients, but I dont know how to prepare any of them.
Even if you arent cooking Oriental cuisine this market has a wide variety of produce and meats
Love love love it here...it feels like u went to an Asian country. So much great healthy food options...my body is so much healthier after becoming a regular customer. Thanks Lien Hao Market
Very good selection of fresh and frozen seafood....and fresh meats... different from normal supermarkets. I found squid steaks here which made me very happy because Ive been looking for them. Also found fresh pig knuckles to roast.
The cashier lady was unfriendly and spoke badly about me in Vietnamese to her colleagues while I was paying for grocery. Little did she know, I understand Vietnamese. Won’t come here again.
Love this Vietnamese market since there isnt many in town. Great price great people
There were only 2 asian markets in the Tampa area when we stopped by, and this is the only one worth a visit. We went to the other one first. It was a ghost town, and for good reason - the selection was sparse and what little was there was overpriced. When we came to this one, the difference was night and day. Theres even a restaurant next door with some great pho and hu tieu.
I really like this place. Reminds me of the Asian market at home in Georgia. Very quaint and small but full of many items to try. I would definitely go back.
Great selection of Vietnamese and general Asian products. Their staff is very friendly and helpful!
If you are claustrophobic do NOT go here. It is very small and cramped. The owners really need to think about moving to a different location. It’s also hard to find parking.
I love this market, they have great products and tons of stuff you cant get elsewhere. The staff is helpful, friendly and prices are great. I love going to this store.
I went to liên hoa supermarket today and the owner made mistakes. He charged me 2 items that not belong to me, I came back inside and talk to him but he kept saying that the transaction was right. He is not honest. I told him take a look on everything that I bought but he ignored me and didnt resolve the problem.Guys double check everything that you buy at this store before you leaving.
The cashier is the one putting your card in the thing, which is weird, and hopefully the cashier will smile more like the bag lady who always has a smile on her face
This is a vietnamese grocery store with extensive food varieties. The staff is friendly but was a bit busy in inquiries. different types of meats, vegetables and variety of leaves like pandan and pennyworth are present here. The prices are towards the cheap side. Better if the prices are correctly marked. The aisles are a bit narrow but the cleanliness is at a good level. Good place for a quick visit. Recommended.
Smaller market from other places Ive visited but tjey do have really great selection.
Lien Hoa is the perfect Vietnamese grocery store because it has almost everything you’d need for Vietnamese cooking. They have ready-to-eat Vietnamese snacks that they made themselves fresh every day. They also have a lot of stuff for Chinese and Thai cooking as well. On some days they have fresh seafood such as shrimps, crabs, and fish.
Excellent options for vegans and a variety of beverages. My only complaint is the lack of check out isles (only 1)
The store has everything I need and more. Everyone that works there is very helpful and sooo nice. Its the only place I go for my oriental groceries.
Since I had to drive an hour to go to this store. I had called ahead of time and asked if they carried and sold salmon belly. They told me they did. I drove to this place only to be told that they dont sell salmon belly and they were trying to give me cut up salmon. The worse part is, they dont seem to care and they just shrugged it off. So, I guess.. I wont be coming back to this place again.
Lien Hoa is a routine shopping place for me and my family for Vietnamese and Asian groceries. Somehow whatever we are looking for they have it somewhere in there and the staff are always helpful.
Small store with a great selection of products.
Nice selection. Friendly people.
Good Asian market especially Vietnamese groceries
Cash only for tax purposes location and $1 for water. Nothing is free from this place.
Its a pretty good store for all the Asian(Oriental) ingredients. and yes they do sell fresh fish.
Very nice store with more than essentials. The staff is friendly and willing to assist you with finding items
They had a wide variety of fresh produce, meat, fish, groceries. I was looking for a particular snack cracker peanut mix that the Brandon oriental market carries, but they didnt have it. I felt extremely out of place, however. I got a lot of stares and didnt get a welcoming vibe from anyone in the store. I will not go back.
Great selection of products. I always get my oriental cooking supplies there
Asked several employees for an item. And each time I was told to wait. 30 min standing there seeing others getting helped who came in after me and no one is even looking at me and I had to leave.
Nice Vietnamese grocery with all the products you need to make authentic Vietnamese dishes. Has fresh, canned and dried foods along with every sauce you could possibly need. Would shop there again when I am in the area.
Good Asian market, food vietnam, especial coffee, l like this place
Cute little market with a little bit of everything. Good prices.
Great prices!!! No one asked if I needed help though, so it took me a while to find what I needed which was only 2 items. I just wander around until I found it.Most things are labeled in their language which was totally expected. Its pretty well organized so youll find what you need, but heads up... theres a lot of stuff in that small place, so there shelving and displays are jammed packed.Definitely going back!
Amazing.
I get almost all my plant-based ingredients from here for less than half the price of regular grocery stores. You kinda have to know what youre looking for but someone is always happy to help you if needed.
The store very nice and clean 👌 😊 ☺ 👍 is great service 👍 👌
Good selection
Sell frozen durian claiming its fresh for $13.99 a pound. Dishonest business.
I go there in every 15 days. They have variety of collections of asian grocery but the price is way too high.
Great products and prizes. But horrible service. Looking for a particular product person I ask for help just wave me oway with her hand not even words. Little did they know that I’m fluent in tiếng Việt. So I actually understood what you told your co worker. Won’t be shopping there anymore. Lost a customer for life.
Excellent variety.
Great service and fresh, well priced foods. Very authentic Asian products.
This is one of the great oriental market in Tampa with many Asian foods . There are many frozen and fresh foods selling, ready to cook . Love 💛
Every time I have visited this location I always have had a wonderful experience & the staff are very nice people.
Best Vietnamese/oriental market you can find in the area! They have a wide variety of pretty much everything. The owner and staff are super nice and welcoming. If you want an authentic Vietnamese meal for your family, definitely do your grocery shopping at Lien Hoa!
Good food selection and has alot of already made food available
Great Asian market! A lot of general Asian food, specializing in Vietnamese, but almost every thing you would need for any Asian recipe you are putting together. They have one of the largest noodle selections I have ever seen.. huge, takes up a whole room by itself. Lot of fresh fruit and veggies, and a great seafood market also.
This Vietnamese grocery store has everything you would need for Asian recipes at great prices!
They have almost everything you need for vietnamese people . Good price
Large variety. Little bit expensive
Great place, prices are fair though they could be a little lower bit overalls not bad. Good selectipn of Vietnamese food items. They even have a small kitchen ware and home goods section. Fresh seafood and meats and other fresh prepared condiments. Sufficient workers and cashiers.
I like it there. They at least have 1 person who speaks English there. I can pretty much find what I need there. Itll be nice if they have more warm cooked meal. Itll be great.
I love coming here when I need to find specialty Vietnamese foods that they dont sell in the regular grocery stores. Its fun to look around at everything they carry and the staff is friendly as well. I would highly recommend.
A lot of vegetarian food, love the ham and all mocking fish.
I was given a list for many items that I usually dont buy at a regular grocery store, and the employees helped me find everything I needed within minutes! Very friendly staff and nice Oriental Market!
I love this place because they have fresh made snacks/food. I dont know what any of it is lol but it’s very good and they have a lot of options for shelf items and frozen items. Their frozen durian is yummy and the cheapest that I’ve been able to find.
First time here. Nice selection including vegetarian dishes. It appears food is made daily here and the quality is very good. Vietnamese grocery.
Great viet store. The fish and meat is fresh. A lot of variety in food selection. Staffs are extremely friendly. I been to other Asian market like MD and they only have powder to make Pho. This store have the actual ingredients to make real Pho, there many more items to make authentic dishes. Also if you a vegetarian than you up happy with their selection. They have vegan sausage, fish, etc etc. It in 1 refrigerator next to their instant noodles. A lot of vegetable selections. Like fresh viet mint. If you a fan of Paris By Night they have the dvd on sale at the front counter. Many exotic fruits.
Pretty decent selection prices okay nothing special
Excellent products
They are expanding. Great selection.
My most favorite Vietnamese and oriental market in Chicago. The vegetable is always fresh. Also, there were several stir-fried cuts of beef, short rib, ground beef, and pork. Everything Vietnamese ingredient could be found here, even some extreme rare like Balut eggs. They even sell pork bones and beef bones for making broth. They were all affordable. A must go place for any DIY Vietnamese cuisine lover.
Very nice Asian market with lots of items to choose from. They even have fresh durian!
Agree that this place is a rip-off. First a lot of items dont have a price so I guess its up to make them up as they go. Second, when they do have prices they are not the same as when you checkout. Avoid, go to any of the other oriental markets in the area that are honest and Give them your business!!!
Im sorry to say the food was nasty Im usually a person that dont say anything but the service was bad and the food wasnt even good but for someone else its probably good I wont be buying anything from them anymore bye .
Great place to find good quality oriental foods. Very nice woman at the register too. I definitely would call this my go to oriental market.
My go to place for Vietnamese coffee.
Busy. Cramped. They have expanded in the past few years. Small aisles always cramped especially with carts.More and more products always added. One of the better vietnamese stores in north Tampa area.Parking lot sucks too and watch for homeless beggars.
They have a ton of variety. Lots of oriental (mostly catering to the vietnamese community) products. Theyve got meat, veggies, tofu, noodles, etc. The only bad part is that its super congested and not handicapped friendly.
So much great it probably has too much stuff to see in 1 visit
I really like this spot to shop when Im inspired to cook Asia or Vietnamese food. I brought some kimchi and it seemed to be spoiled. I know kimchi is funky but Ive purchased it before and it was delicious. This time not so much.
Best place for inexpensive vegetables and Vietnamese ingredients. Staff is helpful.
This market sells many asian stuff. If your purchase is over 50$, youll get a free fish sauce or soy sauce. Its a nice place.
Charged me wrong price $10 more for the rice. I asked first the price before I bring to the register
I needed lychees and they had them. Man oh man were they good.
LIEN HOA IS GREAT MARKET TO SHOPPING! Its have just about everything I needs
Great experience! Lots of goodies for every taste.
All what I need they have it,fresh meat and seafood, ramen noodles etc. .
Love this place: has everything a Viet need.
Brought meat when I got home notice their worms inside.. be careful
Nice a lot oriental merchandise. Great store shop.
Decent Vietnamese market with many usually Asian items. Theyre also in a good location and fairly friendly.
Fresh fresh food, beautiful dishes, lots of rice and noodles. Worth the drive.
Very interesting alot of variety
Omg the parking lot is nearly impossible to get in,out and to maneuver around, also none to zero parking spaces. Amount of selection is okay. Owner is very rude/shady and disrepectful. Need better labeling on the vegetables and clean out the vegetable fridges. Meat area needs some upgrades and attention if you want people to buy meat from back there. Only positive is that they sure do have lots of Noodles/Ramens selection.
Pretty good for such a small place!
Best Vietnamese grocery weve found in our first year here
