The delivery guys called when they could not locate my building. Once they were here they went out of their way to help me remove my existing sofa and loveseat. They brought in my new sectional and made sure I was satisfied with the location of it. They were courteous, professional, and efficient. Thank you guys for making this experience run smoothly!

This was my first time at Rent King and I was looking for a Nintendo Switch. Teddy took care of me and explained the process so I could get one. I was getting frustrated because I thought it would take longer and I was going to go online to get one. He assured me it would be quick and painless and it was. Not only did I get my switch, I got it for a lower price for the down payment than I would have if I went online. Everything went smoothly and within a few hours I had the switch cuz they had to get it from another store. This is where I will come if I ever need anything else because Teddy and the staff made me feel so welcomed and they talked to me like I was family or a good friend, not just a customer they really dont want to deal with and that goes a long way. Thank you all for everything you did for me and getting me set up with my new toy. If you never been here, they will take care of you and get you what you need. You will be glad you did!

My brother and I were shopping for a dryer and he found this place. Went in and they seemed to have some good prices. My brother ended up purchasing a dryer and had the 3 months to pay it off as same as cash. Unfortunately, he was not able to pay it off in the 3 months due to the pandemic. They didn’t offer any options for the account and instead it rolled over to the 18 months to pay off a $450 item. Due to Covid we lost track of payments on it and has only been able to pay the weekly amount until there’s more funds to pay it off sooner. I called today to make my weekly payment that was due on Saturday. I normally pay $12.01 and was told my amount due today is $17.01. I asked why and was told there’s a $5 late fee. I asked if it can be waived as a courtesy as I’m taking over the payments and updated the account with a new credit card. I was told after a slight giggle “ I can’t waive the late fee”. So I said ok because I’ve been in customer service for over 20 years and especially in times like this late fees can be waived. So now I’m not going to be purchasing anything else from this store since there’s no options available during a pandemic and a $5 late fee can’t be waived. I’ve never had a problem until today and I won’t be referring anyone to them. I have an account at Aaron’s as well and they have been more than understanding and have waived me two late fees within the last 4 months due to this pandemic.

Have them a deposit on may 5th. Still have not received our furniture it’s now June 13th. They blame the vendor but who takes over a month to deliver? Horrible place.

First off, let me say that I only write reviews for the most worthiest. Rent King you are worthy. Thank you to Shawn and his manager. I needed a refrigerator ASAP because mine went out the night before and my food was thawing fast. I called the store and explained this to Shawn that I needed a white fridge (to coordinate with my other appliances) and they had none in white. Shawn went out of his way to go to another location and pick one up. I had the refrigerator within an hour of me calling the store. Now I have time to wait for Black Friday and hopefully get a good deal on a new one but I don’t have to rush out right away only to find out that if I had waited another week or so I would have gotten a better deal. Thank you again Shawn and Rent King (Bearrs Ave). You guys are awesome!!

I’ve been renting with rent king for only a few months and I honestly wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there from them. I went in to explain that my rent has to be paid and it was conflicting with my furniture payment. They called me was very rude to me on the phone after I explained my financial situation to me. I told them that I can’t make the payments because I’m trying to save money, they told they don’t want to pick it up and they I should keep it to do an payment arrangement. So I get an threatening text saying that going to sue for no payment after stating that they should pick it up. I hasn’t even been a full 90 days yet. Smh. I would rather save and get my own furniture not owing anybody any money. Not worth it trust me. Buy your own furniture.

CROOKS!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH RENT KING! I cant stress it enough. These people are downright thieves and ridiculously ignorant. On more than one occasion I have had one of the workers come to my house to collect payment, only to be groped and sexually harassed. I had to have my fiancee ask him to leave. They make you feel very uncomfortable and it just isnt worth it. Its a lot easier to just save $300 for a nice TV. Being harassed and sexually assaulted by these people isnt worth it. If you cant afford it, its for the best! Heed my warning, DONT DO IT!
