Incredible prices! I literally seen a couch for $3.00 that was better than any couch in other 2nd hand places priced @ $100! You cannot beat the deals here and the cause alone makes me want to support it! As it should for everyone. This is an AMAZING organization, if you have nothing nice to say find somewhere else to review! These people have always been kind to me. Please support this establishment!

The pictures says it all. I was here without my glasses, so I asked an employee how much was a table, the young man said 35.00 dollars and I replied write the ticket and headed to the cashier. The cashier had taken my monies and was about to finish the transaction when another employee bust into the office and began yelling no stop stop that should be 135. The cashier looked shocked as did I because now all kinds of thoughts are going through my mind. I know I couldnt actually see the price thats why I asked; nevertheless how can these two employees see two totally different prices. I contacted the proper people to investigate and as you can see I have received any real response back. I feel this is bad business. If your employee has given me a price you should honor it. I always pay what the ticket says, normally I do have on my glasses. I just feel as if I was totally treated wrong and the fact that people donate these items and entrust this business to be a staple in the community is disheartening. Although I really enjoy this place I dont shop in establishments that are willing to allow their employees to treat the community less than human or subhuman.I received a call from the Management (Frank) 06/28 this morning. He didnt attempt to make excuses about this situation. He acknowledged I shouldve been given the price I was quoted and the cashier shouldve honored the ticket. We agreed upon a solution that worked for both of us.

They only accept donations after 10. Even when the place is full staffed. Chris and some other person smoking inside of the back warehouse wouldnt open a door for me to donate a couch prior to the rain. So much for helping the needy. Accused me of dumping since it was before donation hours. Less than class act over here. Sucks for the people they supposedly help.

I reached out to them to talk about the salvage program I am doing a remodel and the kitchen was in good order but just dated. They have a program where they come and remove old cabinets and countertops and appliances. I wanted to be able to recycle and or donate them and they did such a great job. The person I got in touch with Susan got me all the info I needed to send and the folks that came to do the salvage were very nice, and got the job done. I was so gratefull for their help and being able to donate the items since they were not in bad condition and could be used to help another family and provide funds for those in need. I would highly recommend anyone with with old cabinets countertops or appliances that are in good condition and work to reach out to them first! thank you!!!

Rude staff. When you ask for help to look for something they just tell you to look. When they drag their dollies through the shop they hit furniture and damage it. I know this place isn’t supposed to be high end or anything like that. But manners matter and so does professionalism. It is a business after all. They could do better. And organization could be better too. Couldn’t find a matching bed frame.

THIS IS A CHARITY ORGANIZATION. I cant believe how many reviews here keep saying tHiS iS a BuSiNeSs, aFtErAlL. No, its not. Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit that helps build and move (qualified low income) locals into affordable homes. They help the community. The Restore is SUPPOSED to provide low cost, decent quality furnishing and home goods for people who cant afford it, and of course to supplement their budget, since again, THEY ARE A CHARITY. Most of the employees are volunteers or completing public service hours or have been there for forever and someone finally decided to pay them something. But even still, they are not doing it for the money. Please get over yourselves, not everything in existence has a dollar sign on it. I LOVE the Restore and HFH, and this location has been the biggest and best Ive ever seen so far (yes, thats right, there are tons of locations all over the country). They are always trying to help me get what I need, if I ask -- building materials, appliances, furniture... anything, and they always try to give advice when they can. I try to donate my home stuff to them whenever I need to downsize. Im multiply-disabled AND in grad school, but my home is filled with good, sturdy furniture, cabinetry, lighting, and dinner ware that I could afford thanks to the HFH and the Restore on Hillsborough, and of course, thanks to the generous donations of locals. AND their staff is always courteous, theyre trying their best despite everything and theyre there because they want to help... whenever I see an argument in the store, it was always some customer who became argumentative because theyre trying to squeeze some extra deal out of something thats already literally charitably low-priced or they are expecting an employee to drop the multiple tasks theyre juggling just to wait on them or theyre being totally unreasonable or OCCASIONALLY, there was just some simple error or misunderstanding, but the customer decides that its worth being verbally abusive in response. You shouldnt be treating any employee anywhere that way, but especially not a volunteer at a charitable organization. Please just appreciate the amazing prices, or go somewhere else.

A big sprawling old warehouse building filled with furniture, lighting, paint, knick-knacks, appliances, doors, tile, etc. They mark things down to move them- china closet for $17, drop leaf table for $15, etc. (I wished that I had room for another antique). But, they also have deep pockets of old broken stuff that needs to be weeded out and discarded. Zephyrhills has spoiled me, with their lovely 5* store & orderly displays.

This place is a mess. So hard to shop for many things as theres such disarray. For example, all doors are mixed up with no separation between sizes, types or styles. Then they are heaped all over each other so it will take a massive amount of strength to see the ones underneath and at the back. I worried if I would be maimed or mortally wounded trying to see some of them. Cut prices, sell more, and get rid of some of the clutter.

I have made furniture donations to this store and I have had a great experience. From the polite phone rep to the drivers that pick up they are top notch. I have donated three times and each time they were right on schedule. If they said 3:30-4:30 they were right there at 3:30!! No waiting! Friendly drivers and take extra care to not hurt anything surrounding the pickup area. I can’t say enough good about Habitat. I will donate to them anytime over Goodwill whom does not help people as much as Habitat does! Salvation Army only helps you if you are straight. They won’t help LGBT people. So I won’t give them a dime. I’ll donate all my name brand high end Thomasville and Henredon furniture to Habitat For Humanity as they help ALL of humanity not just straight and Christian people. Kudos to Habitat!! Thank you!

They are shy of new donations but you can still find gems and needed items. The row number of people engage in social distancing and open to prompting to follow the visual guidelines habitat has in place ( One direction isles and tape on the floor, using hand washing station); but there is an element that doesnt see the personal benefit to protecting the community by wearing a mask. The checkout counter has installed plexiglass shielding to protect the workers from selfish individuals like that. We will get through this and put the humanity back into our habitat.

My husband is a huge fan of Restore, and Im a huge fan of the awesome things he finds. He got a real leather couch there for $50. It needed to be cleaned up and conditioned, which he did, and now weve been happily using it for over a year.He found a beautiful Oriental rug for $10! Seriously. Its very high quality and was in great shape. We just ran our carpet cleaner over it and it was good as new. He also found a large toile printed vase with a faux tree for a total of $10. Its like 6 tall.Weve gotten various other items for our home there, like a big framed print of a painting and a chandelier. The only negative for me is that I dont really enjoy going myself. Ive gone with my husband few times and I never find much, but my husband always finds something. It can be hit or miss with the furniture. It seems like a lot of it is in bad shape. But its like a treasure hunt- there are gems to be found.

I first visited the store yesterday on a whim looking for interior doors. In the best of luck I found the EXACT doors Ive been lusting over for 1/3 of the cost and they were brand new still in shrink wrap. Of course they have a lot of salvaged housewares and fixtures and fewer new items but I was lucky. The staff were all very helpful and knowledgeable and as soon as I was ready to pick up my doors the next day 3 men carried them and carefully loaded them into my car. They were even very kind to my 2 young sons who were in tow. This place is a real treasure and Ill be checking back.

I was a volunteer here and I purchased a 5 gallon bucket of paint and the paint turned out to be bad quality, it was very watered down. After I called them to ask for a refund they said that they knew the paint was low quality and sold it anyway. They said they could not provide a refund so I left the paint in their store and decided to no longer volunteer for them because I don’t want to be part of an organization that has such little regard for their Customers.

Because of this place I lost $160. They have a men working there that is not even an employee. His name is Raul with a red Chevy pick up truck. He goes around offering business to people for remodeling and delivery. What the guy does is reaping people off. He over charges for what he does and then blames you for it. We needed a granited counter top for our Island. He told me and my wife that he knows how to work with granited counter top. We give all the details we needed for that job to be done. Ask him if the granited measures enough to cover what we wanted to do. After we pay for this. He told us he was going to work on it. He ended up never taking it. Some moved the granited counter top and broke. He never told us nothing and after 2 weeks have gone by. I called him and he stated that it is to small of a size. That we did not measure it right, when he was the one with the measuring tape and blame is for everything. When we even pay him part of the money for him to start working. I found out about the granited being broken and never moved when I went to the place and saw it there. And an actual employee told me about it. The manager did not care and continue to allow him to keep interrupting the people.
