Found this place online doing a Google search. I am so glad I took the drive to the store to see what all they had to offer. They have such a great variety of items for sale. It is hard to imagine you wouldnt find what you would be looking for at this gem of a store. Evelyn provided excellent customer service. She was very kind, pleasant, and patient. I was very pleased with my purchase and I received compliments all day long when I wore my outfit. By all means check this unassuming place out when you get a chance. It will be worth your time.

I had literally gone to about five stores looking for a Kente cloth scarf for an event. Having no luck, I decided to check Google. I found African Extravaganza’s information. The store is conveniently located off Nebraska and Scott. I drove over and upon entering, I was immediately greeted by the Owners, Mrs. Evelyn & Mr. Tai. As soon as I told Mrs. Evelyn what I was looking for, she went right over and showed me the Kente cloth scarf I needed and she had it in different patterns/prints. I literally had gone to five stores!!! (At one of the stores, the salesman looked at me like I was crazy when I asked if they had Kente cloth anything!) I was so pleased with the customer service, selection and conversation. I will definitely return as a customer. Thank you!!

Evelyn was extremely accommodating and worked very hard to make sure my husband and I had the best matching outfits. She worked with her seamstress for our fittings and also made sure our clothes were pressed at the dry cleaners. We will definitely shop with her again. Everyone loved our outfits as much as we did. We received so many compliments.

Staff are super friendly and the apparel are beautiful. 90% of the apparel is made in African partners which you can see on a map in the back along with photos of the Africans who made them!

The owner - Evelyn is very nice and helpful, and I have really been enjoying the Shea Butter that she sells.

Great range of African clothes, jewellery and assorted items. Rare find in the area; lovely female owner.
