Absolutely incredible team! They made sure to do everything exactly the way I asked. They were very quick and very professional, but also would crack jokes with myself and my kids. Extremely personable, and all around wonderful. One gentleman even carried my daughters large stuffed toys downstairs in very funny ways and that really eased her anxiety about moving. Being a military spouse with two kids, doing this move without my husband home, I could not have asked for a better team to come! Drake (at the office) was also amazing! He made sure to call and let me know the morning of, what time the crew would be there. As well as calling the previous day to give me a small window of when they would be there. He called and checked with me frequently to make sure we had everything in order for the move, and completely understood when I had to stop to do something for my children. These are extremely patient, kind, funny, professional, and personable men. I want to say a big THANK YOU to all those involved in my move, it was truly a pleasure meeting you all.

Contacted to move my HHG, not only did they show up late both days they came out they also just through random stuff in random boxes and labeled everything wrong. When we got unpacked we found a grill and a wheelbarrow on top of one of our couches. And multiple items were broken

I have done a total of four moves, out of state and out of country, and this was one of if not the best moves. The crew was professional and did an amazing job. Overall it took 3-4 hours for them to pack up our 3 bedroom 2 bath home.The phone interaction with scheduling was also amazing. Professional phone conversations and very helpful. I received multiple phone calls before and during the day of the move to ensure that everything was on schedule and that everything was going well during the pack out day. This isn’t to say I was receiving an excessive amount of phone calls, it was the perfect amount.The entire time from scheduling to the day of pack out I felt taken care of and had little to no worries about my stuff. I will update this review upon receipt of my shipment.I highly recommend them to help with any move...they definitely treated us like family.

The packing team started packing on 21Aug20 and returned to complete packing on 25AUG20. They were professional, polite, and prompt. The loading team was likewise professional, polite and prompt and was able to start and complete their job on 25Aug20. The administration was very accommodating of family Medical condition and was willing to work around requested schedule and ensure that suspense was still met. It was a pleasure to have both teams in my home and I have no complaints. Moving is always a stressful time and during my 27 years of service I have never experienced a perfect move. However, I would recommend this company without reservation.

All in all, once the crew arrived, did a walk through of my home of exactly what would be going and not moving with them. And they didn’t stop moving after that! They did an amazing job and in a very good amount of time for all the things they had to wrap, take apart and organize into their truck. All of them were professional and I enjoyed having them around. Thank you all so much for my move, and definitely would recommend this company to anyone looking for movers.

This move was to extricate my 101 year old mom from an assistive living facility (which did a great job keeping her alive during this pandemic). But she (and we) wanted better socializing with family connections. We all applaud your crew for their diligence and care.

Family Movers was easy and stress free to work with. They are fast, professional, and worked to ease the stress of the move. I would use again if I move back to the area

Very professional and efficient crew, they came in and we did the walk-through and immediately started. All in all they were very nice and asked me whenever they had any questions rather than just throwing stuff together.

They showed up and went right to work which isn’t bad. The bad was noticed when they left. They left masks everywhere. I found masks hidden in my light fixtures and all over the floor (they only wore masks when a safety inspector came in). They didn’t take items that were definitely supposed to be taken. They never went though the inventory list. My wife was just handed a bunch of papers and the woman left in a hurry. They used my refrigerator without asking, I’m not mad about it but it would’ve been nice to know. Oh, and they ate food out of my freezer without asking. Lastly, there are dents and scrapes all over the walls, I’ve taken furniture all over the house and never once hit a wall. If you want your personal property taken care of by respectful movers, then DO NOT hire The Family Movers.

I would like to thank my movers for the great job they did. They were very respectful to our home and ensured the moved our stuff carefully. They covered up all of the floors where they would be moving large objects over and packed up every item with care. I enjoyed talking to the team as well. It was great getting to know them. They personable and professional.The reason I am giving 4 out of 5 stars is due to the lack of manpower. My movers did great and they worked extea hard. However, I see the lack in manpower as a safety issue. They had to carry some very heavy items which can be dangerous for their bodies. Its important that a company takes care of their workers. So loss a star because of small manpower. But the remaining 4 stars for the amazing team that came out.

I enjoy seeing professional excellence wherever I find it. Watching the work crew of the Family Movers lovingly wrap and protect my furniture and then move it out of our home and pack it into the moving truck without bumping a wall or door jam with the furniture even once! I was very impressed. I was equally impressed with the speed at which everyone worked. The men were all very pleasant and cheerful. It was a joy to have them working in our home as we watched are things being packed up and moved. I will definitely use this company again to help us with any future moving needs and I would refer them to anyone. Great moving company!

I live in the Vareze community. Somebody here used their service today on 2/5. This person parked their truck i a way that blocked traffic. The construction manager asked this guy to move his truck, and instead of moving it he gets extremely aggressive, curses the construction manager out for several minutes, and looked like it was just short of getting physical.

Contracted for our military move and before anyone even step foot on our property, there were problems. lots of miscommunication between them, our travel office and the driver. they were to be here at 8 then got a call at 8:45 saying they’d be here around 9:30. everyone actually showed up around 10. they were quick, but they just tossed things into large wardrobe boxes that i know are going to be difficult and annoying to unpack later on. they were very nice and patient as my husband was at work and i oversaw the packing by myself with 2 young children, though.

We were extremely pleased with our experience with The Family Movers. The crew was very courteous and knew what they were doing. I was also very impressed with their Customer Service, they let us know when the crew was on their way, they called to see how it was going mid move and they called checking to see if we were pleased with their service.I would highly recommend this company for anyone’s moving needs.

Of every moving company Ive ever been to aint nobody packs like Family Movers. Aint no balloon packing going on over there. All I got to say is three cubes for both boxes s*** hell thats against heavy fast. But you got good density when you do it that way.

Arrived earlier than expected. Work was quick, efficient and thorough.

They were contacted to deliver our HHG with our military move. We were told they’d be there at 8, then got a call at 9 saying they’d be there between 11-12, a 6 man crew showed up, but as soon as our stuff was unloaded 4 left because they had another move to do, so that left 2 men to help move everything, we signed for a full unpack and I was left with 15+ large boxes to unpack myself. Then they were supposed to get said boxes and never showed up or gave me a call, so I called them to see when they’d be by to collect and they told me they got caught up with other moves, and would be out the next day, they never showed up or gave me a call again, so I have boxes way too big to fit in my bin sitting in my garage. The only reason I’m giving them two stars is because the two movers who stayed and did what they could went above and beyond for me. The whole crew was friendly, I just feel that scheduling for the love was handled improperly and I’m giving up on them collecting the moving boxes now.

The Family Movers moved me quickly and efficiently with excellent customer service. They took all precautions to make sure my items were delivered safe and sound to the new destination. The crew treated my personal belongings as if it were there own. Not only that, they protected the floors and residence by laying down floor mats. I would definitely recommend Family Movers to anyone! They were great and exceeded my expectations!

It started with the online estimate of only $600. My wife negotiated the hours of labor with Barbie and she was insistent on seven hours and we knew it was going to be less than five hours, and refused to help us any further unless we paid for the seven hours, so because we were in a bind agreed. Without explaining it they locked us into a binding contract; meaning you are stuck paying for whatever audacious estimate they choose to make, for a grand total for $1100, almost doubled the estimate online. Barbie also said that she would have the movers help us pack and unpack, which they also did not. On the day of move, the movers showed up twenty minutes late. The movers they sent had no idea what they were suppose to do besides pick up our stuff, put it in our truck, and move it to the new address. We tried to contact Barbie to clear up the confusion and there was no answer. The actual movers were effiecient and took great care of our possessions during the actual move. Approximately four hours later they were done. I tried dispute the amount we paid and spoke to the General Manager. When I called her she stated that she would look into it and call me back the next day, which she did not. Following the weekend I called her again, and had zero explanation as to why Barbie thought it was going to cost as much as it did, but just kept repeating herself explain what a binding contract is. Will never even consider moving this company and will make sure to pass on my experience to everyone.

The family movers were contracted to do our military move! They were quick, courteous and more than respectful! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Was given a quote of $125/hour with a 5 hour minimum to move a piano from Issaquah to Olympia. I agreed to the price and was sent a confirmation. A bit later I was called and told they needed to increase the minimum to 6 hours after speaking with their accounting b/c of the distance. From Midland (where their office is located) to Issaquah down to Olympia and back to Midland is 2 1/2 hours for driving. I really believe the move would have been completed in less than four. I was willing to pay for extra time if it actually took longer but that wasnt an option. Ill be using a different moving company.

I had a great crew pack my house. They were funny, friendly, and attentive to how my belongings were packed.

I made a reservation for jun 22 2018 about month ago. Two weeks before my move send me an email and cancelled my reservation . I tried to work with them to reschedule my appointment but they did not try to help me. I would not recommend this company. They cancel your reservation last minute.
