Tower Coffee Bar and Grill has great coffee, but its so much more. They have a massive menu of food items that you dont find anywhere else in the neighborhood. Its not like walking into Starbucks and being presented with the same food items that all the other Starbucks locations have; the menu here is unique, and theres something for everyone. And if its the coffee youre after, they have unique flavors on that menu too. The seating is nice, like a restaurant, but you dont have to be dressed up to feel at ease. Overall, its a very nice place.

Maybe one more on as a food runner. Besides that aces. And calm, cozy, and chill. Bathrooms clean and service is generous with a smile always.

Havent even had my coffee yet and I have to give this place a 5 star review. The Gentleman that took my order has the best attitude Ive experienced in sometime. You can see the smile on his face through the mask hes wearing. Super happy to just experience such hospitality. Couldnt recommend enough off the service alone.

This place is awesome. Everything about it is great. The service, the menu, product quality, atmosphere, location. They have a pesky register that is sometimes slow but the extra 10 seconds to wait is not an issue and if you think it is then the problem is definitely not them or their register. If youre in the neighborhood I highly recommend it. Fantastic salads!

Awesome spot to grab a quick bite for lunch or to relax after a long day of work. Good food, great coffee, even better service! Highly recommend for anything from coffee to a sit down dinner.

Hubby & I stopped in for a cuppa coffee and snack. Great find near the Courthouse! We both got Americanos and a cookie. Both were really good. Not sure where the cookie are made, but they they were soft like fresh baked and wrapped in Saran Wrap. The coffees were perfect! The barista was a sweetheart. We chatted about Kate Spade purses, a mutual love! As hubby and I walked to our table, we noticed K-LOVE playing! Christian music in a coffee shop/bar & grill! I was happy to hear it!

Blue cheese burger was tasty. Nice mix of creamy and tart. Fries were crisp. Good mix of single and multi party tables.

I know them from the farmers market for their most delicious croissants and the Cafe is nothing less then real authentic delicious meals. We have a hard time picking from the menu cause everything is simply delicious. Real homemade cooked meals, real flavors, abundant portions, very nice and friendly owners, just delicious food. Its a new favorite for my little family and friends. Yes we ate there twice today.

A great place for breakfast or lunch in the Downtown area. A friendly staff and delicious food. They do lots of speciality coffee drinks too! Try the Loaded Breakfast Tots for a meal that will stick to your ribs and keep you coming back.

The bigger girl that works here is a complete you know what, she’s rude and short when talking to you and she is very lazy with her barista craftsmanship, ive gotten drinks from her multiple occasions and only one time was it good, the last time, my blended drink was FULL OF ICE CUBES, id share a picture if i could cuss I definitely took photos of this, im not sure if she did it to be rude or she is just lazy? 🤷‍♀️... Also caught her speaking badly about me to another employee not beig shy to allow me to hear every word if it, she should be replaced and spoken too, cuss she’s straight up rude and clearly does not like her job and it shows. I take back what I said the bigger lady makes good coffee it’s Becca and anyone else besides her that’s horrible

Tower Coffee Bar and Grill is the best quaint, eclectic restaurant and bar in a historic building in downtown Tacoma! The aesthetics and atmosphere make you wanna be there and the food is amazing and reasonably priced! After we finish sight seeing, we hope to return for a cup of coffee!

I ordered the other day, and the food that arrived was fresh and delicious, and the delivery was quick!

Best chips & queso in town! The seasoning on these chips is the bees knees! I dream about this combination and it is worth testing the cheesy goodness. Always several tacos to try or even create your own. My two kids can be picky and the cook will make them things not on the menu (like a quick cheese quesadilla).

Kim means it when she says youre a friend when you enter the cafe.I got a blended mocha with an extra shot. When I got it, I was not impressed with the look. The taste was watery and not great, but it was typical of coffeehouse experiences in Tacoma.Kim took one look at it and said, Ill be right back.She left and came back with an espresso milkshake that was an excellent balance of coffee, chocolate, smooth, and sweet.It was a small act, but this is the passion that Tacoma coffee houses seem to have been waiting for!Rock on, Tower Coffee! I will be bringing my favorite people to visit.

Went here for a quick lunch. Extensive menu and fast service . I got the BLT (lots of bacon!!) on sourdough which came with a bag of chips. The other two I people I was with ordered Chicken Strips with fries and the California Burger with fries. Both meals looked good as well.

Great coffee and breakfast spot! I love their selection and the portions are huge. My husband and I usually get coffees and spilt an omelette - so many veggies and meats to choose from. Highly recommend Towers!

Nice location to watch things going on by the courthouse. The food is fine, friendly staff for the most part, good WiFi and a relaxed atmosphere.Last time I ate there the staff member who brought my sandwich coughed on it before she realized it was my table she was dropping it off at. Like a heavy, solid, direct hit cough right on the sandwich. After seeing down my for and taking the table number, she asked me if I wanted anything else, sniffled, then wiped her nose on her wrist and sleeve. I declined. I did not eat my sandwich.Other than that incident however, nice place.

Sometimes their coffee is very thin. The coffee was better today. Maybe they have upped their game. But the food is always excellent with ample portions and decent prices.

I love the food at the larger of the two Tower Coffee shops - the service is excellent there, too. The prices may seem a little high but the portions are good.Why the three star review then? Its the other Tower Coffee location, at 11th and Yakima that is responsible for the low overall score; not the individual working there (who is always very nice) but the idea that the ownership treats this satellite location as an afterthought. The Tower management does not appear to care about the customers at this secondary location.I stopped in there this morning, it was busy but not out-the-door busy like it is some times, but I waited a good 10 - 15 minutes to put in my order.I ordered something off the menu and was told that the other store hasnt delivered the food yet, so they did not have the item I wanted, nor the item posted as Daily Special. So I left and picked up a snack to tide me over, at another store, as I had wasted my break waiting in line.Which leads me to my statement that Tower Coffee really does not care about its customers, because the twenty seconds it would have taken to post a sign, Sorry, no roast beef or meats of any kind would have saved a customer 15 minutes of needless waiting. Ill never get those 15 minutes back...

Excellent small neighborhood restaurant. Have had both breakfast and lunch here and both were excellent. Many items on both the breakfast and lunch menus. Definitely a keeper.

Fun little local coffee shop with food, beer and spirits. Comfy environment with great bar food especially the nachos. The only downside is that the limited hours.

Coffee is great. Atmosphere is usually crazy busy so expect to be in line. Food ranges from chicken strips to steak salad and meatball sandwiches, all have been good the 3 times Ive been in. Decent prices, too.
