Walked into this store and tried on a couple of sweaters. Obviously this is a husband/wife owned store where they double team to get you to buy. Liked one sweater and asked if there were any deals on the day. Woman told me to ask the man. Got to the cash register and the man gave me a price which was what the woman had said. He then said this was not Macys and he couldnt deal. Then I said I wasnt interested. Then he said the sweater was hand knit and you couldnt buy this kind of alpaca anyway. Meanwhile I am wearing a t shirt that indicates I am a knitter. So obviously I know this is a con. I look at him and then he says I can have it now for twenty bucks less. I walk. What kind of store do you negotiate prices with? Is there a different price for each customer? Is this weird or what? Also the alpaca is out of Peru and not the greatest for the price being asked.

One final try now.)This store is worth your effort to find. The staff is polite and helpful, prices are reasonable, and I always leave having learned something new. For example, alpaca is stronger, lighter, softer, and warmer than cashmere or merino wool. And, if cared for properly, will last for years.And when the weather is cold and wet, as it is today, the various items look downright cozy and warm, helping to keep away that bone-chilling cold from your bones.
