I shattered my laptop screen and needed it fixed as quickly as possible. Best Buy couldnt fix it because they are short on repair parts and are only fixing Apple products. I called numerous companies and they either dont fix Microsoft Surface Pros or didnt have the parts. I called CPR Tacoma and they were very friendly and helpful. They were able to fix my laptop screen in a week and it looks great!! I would definitely recommend them, everyone else are in short supply of parts. If I had to say any drawbacks, it would only be the parts are not Microsoft parts, they are aftermarket, but to me, thats not a problem. I only add that for those who only want Microsoft parts. With that said, they have a lifetime warranty on their parts functionality, which is a plus for me.

Experienced and helpful, but address online is not current with physical address. I drove to their old location and a sign on the window says theyve moved to 2901 S 38th ST in Tacoma. Its just a block down the road, but I was confused because there wasnt a sign yet on the new location.

Ashley did a fantastic job of replacing the screens on both of our phones. I made an appointment, brought my phones in and walked out with repaired phones only an hour later. So many other places send your phone off to a third party or another city and make you wait without a phone for a day or more.. CPR couldnt have made the process easier. The screens are Samsung original OEM and work perfectly. Highly recommend.

The people here are amazing and have excellent customer service. Larry, Ashley, and Zac were the ones who assisted me and they were very flexible. They were able to work with me to get my laptop fixed because of my job times and where I live. I highly recommend them for their quick service, friendly attitudes, and wonderful personalities. I will definitely be going to them again if I ever need any of my devices repaired in the future. 11/10 score for me.

This place does great work. Ive cracked the screen of my cell phone and they replaced it no problem. Ive gotten my charging port clogged and dusty, and they cleaned it no charge. They also do other electronics, including game systems. Overall, I cant imagine going anywhere else.

I poked a hole in my ipad battery and was able to schedule an appointment the next day. While they werent able to fix it (because of the Lithium Ion battery being exposed), they were very professional and respectful of my situation. They referred me to someone else who was able to replace my battery for me.

You cant be without a cell phone anymore. I made an appointment with them to fix a damaged screen and was in-and-out in 30 minutes. They are a great resource I highly recommend.

After a long day, I noticed my cell phone wouldnt charge. My battery was almost dead, so i hurried to T-Mobile. Seems like they all read from a script, your cell phone has water damage. After tussling with T-Mobile, one of their reps, nice guy, African American told me about CPR Cell Phone repair, and i should try it. After the young lady took my phone, although they didnt have the part at the time, she did something, my phone came back on, its charging and i didnt have to buy a new phone. Thank you so much.

I had to have the screen replaced on my Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G phone. They were able to get the part within a couple of days, it had to be ordered since its a newer model, and then offered me several appointment times to work with my schedule. I was using a Square Trade warranty for the first time and they were helpful in getting that all set up. The repair was quick, within an hour wait time. Unfortunately the back glass broke during the repair so I had to return again but things happen and they were honest and quick to get the work completed. I would use CPR again.

I originally went through their website for a quote and within 20 minutes of my quote they called asking if I had any questions and if I wanted to make an appointment. They notified me that there was an aftermarket and OEM part options for my phone with the price difference so I could choose which I prefer. I had an appointment the next day at 2pm. I dropped my phone off @ 12pm during my lunch and my phone was ready by my appointment time. They did great work.

They were very professional and answered my questions but they couldnt help me with the problem I had with a game console. How ever they did give me a different company name and number that specializes in what I needed to be done with my game console. Thank you CPR for taking a close look at my issue and for trying to solve it.

Fixed my fiancé phone like it’s new. For the note10 they had to order the replacement screen in but it was there quicker than they originally estimated. Very pleasant people to deal with. Really enjoyed their old tech museum.

My first visit was over a year ago to repair my MP-3 player. I left the item for a few days and when I picked it up I was told they were able to find something in the settings (I still havent figured out what it was) and it was fixed with no charge. My second visit was for a battery issue with my wifes Apple iphone 6s. I thought it would need a new battery but the folks in the shop were sure this was not the case and it would be a waste of money. They made some suggestions for us to try and see if the problem went away. We followed their directions and the phone seems to be working fine.I have found every in the store to be knowledgeable, personable and they do all they can to correct the problem fast and as inexpensive as possible. I highly recommend them.

I need to get the glass for my rear camera replaced on my Samsung note 20 ultra. When I showed up for my appointment Rep Ashley G greeted me at the door. She asked to see my phone apon inspecting she let me know it could take up to 30 mins so I her know I would be out front in my car I had some work to do. She let me know I need to pay before she could start the repair so I paid. And in less then 15 mins she returned my phone and the repair was completed. I am a very satisfied customer and her customer service is a 10.

My iPhone XS hardware went bad and the Sprint store could not assist and sent me to APPLE store and after an hour wait I spoke to APPLE tech who diagnosed my phone had a hardware issue that needed to be replaced and quoted me $278.00 + taxes. I called Cell Phone Repair of Tacoma South and within two minutes advised me I had same hardware issue and that they could repair it for $178.00 + tax. A savings of over $100. I delivered my phone to CPR at lunch with my wife and picked up my phone after lunch. I appreciated your fast, friendly, customer service oriented approach and you delivered what you promised at the price you quoted and the time you promised. Great Customer Service. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND CPR.

I had to get my phone screen replaced on a new phone. They said itd take around 7 days. They called and had it done with in 4 business days.My phones really important and this was the only place that could help me. The workers were very nice and helpful. I have 3 young kids (ages 2-6) that came in with me. The workers were very sweet and helped keep them occupied while I got my service set up. Ive never been inside a business that was so welcoming to not only myself, but also to my rambunctious kids.

Phone screen was cracked. Other than that phone worked great. Went had it replaced. Phone power button and motion stopped working properly. Phone would over heat and Shut off Constantly. Dont recomend this place only few dollars cheaper. they replace screen but phone is useless due to other issues they return phone with.still had to buy a new phone after.

I was very impressed with the measures CPR took in order to rectify a longer than anticipated repair time. Awesome place! I initially emailed these folks regarding price and availability for repair for the broken back glass for my Galaxy Note 10. It was the weekend and was not expecting a response of any type until Monday, but to my surprise was replied to on a SUNDAY! Shannon from CPR had my replacement part ordered and at their store in less than 4 business days despite it being a special order component, and was on my phone in less than 15 minutes of being at the store. The representative who worked with me was extremely polite, personable, and fun to be in store with, and didnt make it feel like traditional retail experience. Correspondence was simple, reps were kind and prompt, and store was easy to locate and get to. Hopefully wont have to be back (because Im not a fan of breaking things 🤣) but if I do, it will most definitely be the South Tacoma CPR!

I had to go to the Gig Harbor repair shop. This site is overbooking, and couldnt keep an estimate to return my phone the same day if I dropped it off in the morning. So I give them a 2 star simply because cant attest to thier worksmanship.

So i wouldnt recomend anyone taking thier phone in there. really amateur business practices and they didnt listen to what i actually wanted and i had to pay labor twice for the initial fix. find someone more qualified, is what id recomend.

I requested a quote to replace the screen on my galaxy S10+.I recieved a call back (I requested text or an e-mail, so far its an F). Representative was somewhat rude price of repair was 30% more that anyone else i called and $220 less than the authorized samsung repair center. When I noted that, she said she was aware of the extreme price difference and factory authorized repair with factory parts is less expensive. Odd thing to tell a potential customer but ok.My point being that price was out of line and not even close to competitive with the competition and the customer service was quite poor. I called 3 other businesses capable and all of them acted like they wanted my business and were reasonably priced.

They streamlined the repair process with communication and follow up. Plus I noticed they always answer the phone.

We came with a group of 15 (most of which in wheelchairs)this afternoon and we had a great experience. Despite it being a very busy time of day the team did a great job accommodating us. The food came out quick and was hot our server was on top of it and very patient with some of our demands ;) only thing I wish there was a way to make actual reservations to allow the staff to be better prepared for larger groups like this! Went in to get my cracked and non-functional screen on Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. The screen needed to be ordered, which wasnt a big deal, as i had a back up phone. They were up front about all the details, and delivered a great fix in about a week. Would definitely go back next time!

They rescued my IPad 6 that had a cracked screen from dropping it on concrete. They gave a price and completed the work the same day. Price was considerably less than Apple’s. Now begins the part about being responsive. The touchscreen responsiveness diminished over a couple of weeks. I called them back and brought it back in. They had a look at it and agreed that it was not as it should have been and replaced it with a new digitizer (screen). Kudos to Ashley and Larry.

DONT COME GET YOUR PHONE FIXED HEREWhile it might be cheap to pay $130 for a new screen, trust me... it won’t last. They said it has a lifetime warrantee, for me, that lasted 2 weeks. Took it on because the lcd stopped working, tech didn’t look over it twice before saying it’s not covered under the policy. SUPER CHEAP screens they put on these phones. You lose features getting your phone screen replaced here. Friendly service, TERRIBLE quality and materials. Spend the extra $100 and take it to apple. You’ll thank me later! Don’t come here, or any CPR.

They got me in quickly for a repair during the height of the COVID outbreak. They told me it would be an estimated six hours for the repair and they would call me when it was done. I explained I lived in Puyallup and was in town to meet up with a repairman at my recently passed fathers condo to get an estimate and would not be near a phone. I was uncomfortable meeting a stranger alone with no phone and he didnt feel good about it either. He wouldnt let me go until he set up one of his personal phones with my info so I had a way to make calls if I needed help. He went way above and beyond for me. The repair was done much faster than the 6 hours and the work was excellent! This is the second time I have used this business and both times I was more than happy with the service and the repair work. I would strongly recommend them.

My super old S4 finally died on me. I got a new phone, but was so distraught because I couldnt transfer my data from the S4. After taking my phone to two other places, I ended up here. And thank God for that! ASHLEY was awesome! She was so nice, friendly, & knowledgeable. She was able to figure out the problem right away & get my phone working. I took my iPad in for a screen glass repair 04 Sep 2020, it was the only issue at first. Few days later I get a call to pick my iPad up, repairs were complete, it was a quick turnaround. I arrive to pick up my iPad and I do an inspection on it. I notice an object behind the glass protruding from the bottom, second issue, I ask what it was, the guy attempted to scratch it out with his finger thinking it was just on the outside, he then tells me “must be excess glue that was left out”, there was an awkward pause. The person then tells me that they can take it back to get it take care of it. Then around the 10th I get called to pick up the iPad. Get there, I do my inspection, my home button does not work, third issue. The person there assured me that it was working earlier, I told him that it wasn’t working now. They take it back one more time. I get a call on 17 Sep to tell me that the home button had issues, they will a different one on it to see if it works. I get a call the following day to let me know that the repairs were completed and to pick up my iPad. Today, the 21st of September 2020, I arrive to finally pick up my iPad, everything was looking good. The person there tells me that Touch ID no longer works and it’s a feature that I will no longer have on my iPad due to a software issue. That only Apple can do such repairs and there was nothing they can do. I was not told that I would permanently lose that feature from the last call before the repairs. I asked for a corporate number or something higher than their level because it was ridiculous for me to drive there several times to attempt picking up my iPad. The person then tells me that he’s the manager and that he will reprimand his tech, I honestly don’t care who he reprimands, that doesn’t really satisfy me. I am not happy or satisfied with my experience here with this business. I wouldn’t recommend bringing your 6th generation iPad with the Touch ID feature. You will permanently lose that feature if you bring it only for a screen glass repair.

By far the most honest and genuine cell repair store I’ve ever been to. The gentleman was able to help me fix my phone onsite in less than 30 mins and told me he didn’t know how to fix one issue but he’d be happy to help me find another CPR store that could. He then explained that most places will overcharge on labor for a fix involving a .67 cent part. He quoted me an incredibly reasonable price and sent me to a sister store that could help me out. That level of honest in today’s world is so rare. I now drive a solid hour to get help at this location because they’re efficient, solid, and price honestly. Thanks y’all for a truly pleasant experience.

Beware.... I cannot recommend this place to anyone after my experience. I took my iPhone there to have the screen replaced, The thumbprint sensor on my iPhone worked perfectly and after they replace my screen everything seemed well. As soon as I got to the car and I use my thumb to unlock my phone it did not work. As I went back inside to politely inform the tech about the problem he automatically became reluctant to help me, he said he could not do anything about that because there was no way of knowing if it worked when I got there. But he never checked it and told me that I should speak with Apple and it was an issue with the Apple software. I don’t recommend this place don’t go there they are very in responsible

Three trips to get a ipad mini screen replacement done. Still not right, will have to go to Apple after all. On the first pick up date the screen was replaced but the On/Off/Sleep/Awake button didnt work. Left. Came back and was told that now the Home button lost pairing - so touch ID cannot be activated and they do not have the right tool to fix it and Ill need to take it to an Apple store. Fun. I cant wait to have Apple tell me they wont fix it because I took it to a third party for the initial repair. My fault for trying to save money...

Got a quote from the website that came back very high but they followed up with a phone call and the actual price which was very reasonable. They fixed my screen in the time they said they would, nothing more that I could ask.

My sons iPhone screen was totally cracked. They fixed it quickly and it looks brand new. I only gave this a 4 and not a 5 because it was a little expensive (but still worth it).

Went to have my Note 4 charger port replaced because it was no longer working to charge my phone however with their knowledge and expertise they were able to diagnose my issue and actually saved me money by offering a more elegant solution, simply buying a compatible charging cable of which I bought two of on the spot! Apparently my port requires something particular to work properly which I was completely unaware of for literally the past two years.... Turns out the generic ones I had been using were damaging my device and malfunctioning the port. Once they plugged their compatible charger into my device it began charging and stayed charging. They were exceptional. They even gave me a free gift but dont let that be the only reason you visit this shop as I dont believe thats necessarilly a regular occurrence. I also feel its worth mentioning that theyre incredibly fast about the repairs. They told me the longest Id have to wait had I had my port replaced was a total of three hours and thats it! I really admire their online price quote tool, it quoted me $75 for the repair cost and when I called them for a sort of in person estimate they quoted me $85 but upon showing the email to them containing the online quote they gladly agreed to keep it at the $75 mark. You really cant beat that appointment scheduler either that they have on their website, it makes everything really streamlined and it seems to allow everyone the detailed personal attention they deserve for their issues. I really cant say enough great things about CPR, without question I would suggest their service to literally anyone. Thank you CPR!

Its not often I would write a review in a positive way but the service I received from Ashley was second to none. She was extremely knowledgeable and polite helping me give CPR to my lifeless Note 3. Yes its an older phone but we dont toss grandma in the trash if she can still do the dishes. Anyways I have already refereed her to my wifes nurse to get her I phone data back. I wont go anywhere else for my cell phone repairs or any other service CPR provides.

My iPhone 6 battery has been failing for some time and finally decided to take some action. I Googled iPhone repair in the area. Sadly it didn’t work for me. The tech brought me my phone an hour later and said, “The metal on the screw is softer than my screwdriver so it’s now stripped and I can only get the cracked screen out if you don’t mind the risk of damaging the home button.” Since I’d cracked the screen only 5 days after getting the phone, I chose not to risk permanent damage. I took the- now much more cracked -phone. Not sure where to go now that she told me she’s stripped the screw.

Phone wasnt ready when promised, need another hour. Tried calling number they gave and no answer, mailbox full. Tried calling two numbers on fancy business card, but were magic Jack advertisements and again, mailbox full. I found an old number from last April (now Aug 20) and called, mailbox full, so I just kept calling. Finally (6 more calls) girl tech answered the phone. I asked why cant get hold of her...I was at lunch and dont answer the phone. Well, there should at least be a place to leave a message and the phone numbers on the card should be working! If this type of customer service appeals to you, use them. If you want better customer care, well.......you decide.
