My friend bought a car from Nissan Tacoma for ~$18,000 the end of Oct 2021. She had to replace her previous vehicle since it was stolen and parted out. Unfortunately she did not have gap insurance so didn’t get any extra funds for the car. She purchased the vehicle. The next day the heater stopped and a few days later the check engine light came on. She went back to Nissan Tacoma and asked for help paying for any needed repairs since she only bought the vehicle a few days prior. Nissan of Tacoma only agreed to pay 50% of the diagnostic and no repairs. Basically a $50 discount. She left. She took it to a non Nissan service center to get a diagnostic for a $100. She learned that the morning she bought the car someone reset the check engine light 2 hours prior. It was verified that it was performed by Tacoma Nissan since they have to sign off on it. The light had three warnings that were significant and the heater needed to be replaced. I saw the diagnostic so there is proof. My friend went back to Nissan with the paperwork and pictures of the testing. She explained that she was a single mother of two who works cleaning houses and cannot afford the expenses. The manager told her that they would quietly take the car back as long as she did not put in a bad review about resetting the warning light. She was basically presented a verbal non disclosure. My friend does not feel comfortable telling the truth after being threaten. I didn’t agree to a not write a review. She is the kindest friend and a wonderful mom with really cool kids. All I can say is shame on you!

Had a warranty issue on new vehicle. They got me in at best time for me and did a thoroughreview of the situation and promptly made the repair. I was then given detailed explanation of what occurred and how it was corrected.No charge and discounted for future service.Very professional and costumer oriented approach. This is very typical of the staffand level of service at this dealership. I have been with them since 2013, my second new car purchase.

Scheduled my appointment online and that was super simple, along with all information over text messaging but the things I was super upset about was they never reset my sensor that pops up saying change oils soon and also never put a new sticker in the window, which is simple and it also on the inspection sheet so if they didn’t do that I question want else was missed. Customer service was great and super polite.

I was pleased because the work was done on time and as per the estimate. Also - I was told the brake service I had was to include the rotors also, which is normal. When I picked up the car, I was told after the brake area had been disassembled, it was noted the machine used to do the maintenance on the rotors, was broken. Instead of doing a less than acceptable service, I was told the mechanic put new rotors on the brakes - this was very awesome.The 4 star, instead of a 5, is this. Im a bit worried because this was not indicated anywhere in my paperwork I received and If something did go wrong, is it under any type of warranty? I dont really know as that was also not included in any of my paperwork...

Took my work vehicle in to get a simple brake job. Was told the job would be done the same day. One of their employees backed into a pole or something on their lot and wrecked the tailgate. This is a truck that produces on average of $1000 dollars a day for our business. They took a month to get the damage fixed, and there is no longer any vehicle signage on the back (due to the tailgate having to be replaced). The service manager promised to eat the labor cost for the brake job but then reneged and said we had to pay the whole thing, regardless of how much revenue was lost in the meantime---not to mention the lost signage. Bottom line is we had to absorb the lost revenue, the brake job and pay extra to get signage redone when it was THEIR EMPLOYEE that caused this whole mess. We will no longer buy Nissan vehicles again for our work vehicles and certainly will never use their service department again.

Every time I go into Nissan, they are timely, professional and never pushy about anything. I’ve dealt with an employee named Salvador there multiple times and he is always courteous and professional. He is not condescending, pushy or manipulative.This dealership gives you printed quotes to take with you and tell you what is wrong and let you take that info elsewhere if you want to. They even quote you for future upcoming services so you can prepare yourself for them if you want them and shop around.I used to take those quotes elsewhere, but now I trust them and never want to go anywhere else for anything. They are fair in their pricing and give free car washes and vacuum with their services. They are fast and I have actually found myself convincing friends they need to go there for oil changes and services because it is way more affordable than other options out there.This is the longest review I’ve written and it is because their work is outstanding. Thank you!FYI: Our family owns two cars. A Nissan and a Dodge. The two dealerships are night and day! I’ll never get a Dodge again just because of their service department!

Always friendly and helpful!I would say $25 for DEF fill up is absolute nonsense. I’ve bought it for $5 and having a tech fill it up for a 500% markup is disgusting.I understand it’s a dealership and prices will be inflated but it seems like some of the basic maintenance costs are overly expensive.Other than that great people and very easy to work with.

I’m very happy with my experience! I had taken my car to the Puyallup location over 5 times for the issues going on with my vehicle and they couldn’t find anything wrong with it just kept on trying to get me to trade it in. But instead of that I took it to the Tacoma location and after them having it for a few hrs they told me what was wrong with it and what had to be done and was very fast and efficient! I really appreciate you guys! Will most definitely recommend.

I went in for an oil change and was told that my back brakes need to be changed (after reading the reviews I will go and get a second opinion on that). When I left after my oil change that evening (which was close to closing and spending too long waiting) I noticed that a couple of my lights came on ABS aand brakes. I was thinking ok this must be what they were talking about so Ill call them to make an appointment. But later that evening more lights came on, actually all of my lights. Not only that my speedometer stopped working. My husband took my car back on the next business day and they claimed it couldnt have been anything they did wrong, there was literally nothing else wrong with my car before taking it in for an oil change. My dad is the cosigner and he called Nissan corporate and later I received a call from Tacoma Nissan while I was at work but they didnt leave a message and I still havent heard back as to the reason for the phone call. This is my first and last car with Nissan.

Car parts and glass are difficult to come by these days. Tacoma Nissan not only had my glad in stock, but had an appointment within 2 weeks. Auto glass places either didnt have the glass, it didnt have an appointment for more than a month.Bonus, it cost within the limits of my insurance claim.

Other area Nissan dealerships service departments were helping by putting bandaids on problems. They werent necessarily doing a bad job, but the fix always seemed temporary. Tacoma Nissan agents were straight up about what was wrong, what the fix was, and how much it would be. To the best I can tell the issue was completely resolved (finally!). Because of their honesty and being upfront, Ill do all my service at this dealership now. Cant speak for sales, my experience is only with service.

Very unprofessional experience I ever had especially having to used work at dealerships in puyallup who treat you 100x better then I was treated. I was told the vehicle would been cleaned and upon my arrival it wasn’t so they took it back had me wait 40mins for it to still not have been touched. I was harassed multiple times when I would bring my check in when with discussion I would bring it in Friday. I was told to sign papers that I didn’t need to and LIED TO ABOUT WHAT THEY WERE FOR. Attitudes were flying with everyone I talked to. Most unprofessional dealership I have ever been to. Definitely will let everyone know to never come here if their looking for quality customer service.

Keith Hurst was wonderful to work with. Form my very first call with him to bringing my car in to have it looked at and through scheduling the service appointment. He had all the warranty information ready and available. He was able to quickly identify and share that the repair was covered (which was what I was hoping for). Scheduling the appointment was easy and he was thorough to let me know approximately how much time the repair would take. The service center is very clean and spacious with plenty of seating to still maintain social distancing. Keith made the experience worthy of excellent service.

I really love the front desk Lady at the parts department! She is always ridiculously nice and friendly. But also, I had terrible experience in the past with this dealership with sales man, how they didnt care about customers or visitors when we arent buying car. Bad service from staff completey unorganized and unprofessional. Rude. If take car in for repair they so behind and short staffed. They argue and treat bad for their mistakes and overload. Never would go thier again! Its 2 bad my father and I both still leasing 2 vehicles through Nissan. I sent my daughter there who as well has a nissan. The receptionist in auto department had told her she can tow vehicle in and can go through with an appointment she had security chip problem that not let her car start minor since she car already viewed by car shop. The next day the lady tells her there booked out for 2 to 3 wks saying something diff. U wouldnt tow car right away if was the case u was told over phone u can help. She confused and called for explanation. They lady said she didnt know when they will get to it and then she call Saturday afternoon couple days later, an hour and half before auto shop closed at 4 after few complaint she made. Saying her car can be diagnosed for 150 and fixed that fast. I heard the phone covertsation and took her there 2 pick up. Lady Charged to 80 instead because they did half of diagnosed y? U can fixed the car and do full inspection last minute no.. Car sounded funny after paying 520 for chip security repair. She went back the receptionist said everyone went home shop close and saids u didnt ask for full inspection but u just wanted your car to start um? U said 150 and charged 80 after pick up obviously like said u rushed in a hour n half last minute for repair and u couldnt have had time for full diagnosed. U blame the customer saying she didnt want it makes no sense u were closing see y she was unprofessional for her mistake and the service staff side with her tho manger was not in Saturday and did nothing to help after told what had went on when she got in Monday few days later

Totally professional and great customer support. I was blown away that they remembered my name when I dropped by to set up an appointment to have someone look at a wiper issue I had. I had only been there 3 times. Once when I bought my car, once for an oil change and this stop. Even the person I purchased the car from came out and spoke with me recalling thing we had talked about almost a year ago when I bought my car. This only confirmed that I had chosen the correct place to purchase my car. I was important!
