Rob and Brad seem like really good guys. They got my son into a pretty nice ride and are taking steps to follow up on a small issue. I would reccomend going and giving this lot a look over. The prices are true to what the market calls for. And the over a 30 day warranty on their vehicles. Would I purchase another vehicle from them? You bet I would.

If you dont want to get ripped off id avoid this place convinced my wife the price was non negotiable for the high mileage jeep she got from them then gave her 3.5k for her trade that was valued at 5k to 6k trade in and convinced her they probably wouldnt make much off it but now have it listed for 10k. The jeep they sold her has issues not covered by warranty. So if your interested in the 2013 Toyota Corolla s with 101k miles dont pay anything over 4k and dont let them lie and say they paid more for it.Edit to owners response. I was given a dealership warranty that covered 30 days or 1000 miles and took the other warranty as well that covered more minus electrical. I was there physically not mentally 16hr graveyard so i signed but wife did the talking cause it was her trade in and the car she wanted. Yes there are fees involved but not 6.5k plus whatever you got out of the jeep as well. Im not upset over yall doing business and getting your money who can be but taking advantage of someone by that much is messed up even for a used car dealership. Besides being ripped off everyone there was friendly but i really dont recommended anyone whos new to buying cars go here.

Great Service. Bob and Ian were very great Customer Service Agents. I say Customer Service Agents because me the customer felt respected. I respect my money. Bob and Ian understood. The service was great. I did not have to wait around for hours. They called me back when they had good news. I believe they would of called me either way. So the fact is that I did not have to sit around waiting for hours. I call them agents because they work for the people and that is what we all need. Now, Im only telling you what happened to me (a female) so just respect your money and if you see a vehicle that you like give Maple Leaf Motors in Tacoma on South Tacoma Way a call and ask for Bob and/ or Ian. STAY BLESSED. Keep local businesses alive.

Have been driving a Chrysler Sebring from Rob for a while now and everything has been great.Car runs well, especially considering its a used car. Its good to know theyve got a shop on site in case anything does go wrong later on down the line. (Hey, it is a used car, and nobody can predict the future).

To say that they went out of their way to help us out would be an understatement. Rob and Ian were very accommodating and easy to work with. They understood the limits of the project we were working on and sent us home in a vehicle that far exceeded our expectations. They were honest, upfront and didnt push anything on us. Ive gotta say, looking for an affordable car is not easy when your on a budget. But the guys Ian and Rob down here at Maple Leaf Motors are kinda miracle workers. Came in and drove away the same day. Even with my bad credit and not very much down as a down payment, I was still able to drive away in something I loved. Undoubtedly the best customer service Ive ever had from a used car dealership. If your looking for a something affordable and people who will work with you to get you into something youd be happy with, then this is the place

Ok My husband buy a van from this dealer the van give us a lot a problem we trust on this persons and they just took away our money . when we going back to the dealer and we told them that why they lie to us saying that the car was on good condition they just laff and told us bussinnes are bussinnes . If you need a car theyll help but dont expect much....after talking with my wife we bumped it up to three stars would be higher if they didnt reset the codes or take out the air bags we got three cars from them and all three had this done to them there pretty up front with 80% of its issues if your low on funds and bad credit theyll get u a car

This company tried to BLACKMAIL one of their customers on October 24, 2017 by telling them that if they did not delete their negative comment Maple Leaf Motors would refuse to service their car. Not only is that illegal because they are under contract but it shows their lack of integrity and customer service.In response to the owners comment:Okay first of all sweetheart, when I say blackmail I am referring to the verb in which you are forcing a customer to do something by using threats against them. You called your customer. You told your customer if they did not delete their comment you would refuse service. Now stop me if I’m going to fast, okay? For one, “slander” is when there has been FALSE allegations made against you and your company. Your customer made a comment about the bad customer service. If I am not mistaken...now correct me if I’m wrong, I am seeing countless comments about the horrible customer service and the overall service of this company. So because “slander” does not count in this situation your reasoning for refusing service is invalid. So as I stated before, the lack of integrity and customer service is pitiful.

This company has terrible customer service and my car has broken down four times in the last 4 weeks that I have bought it. They sold me a lemon, as a honest dealership they should have explained all the issues that the car had. I have all my receipts for my service that I had done on my car from various mechanics, yet there is still a great deal of issues on my vehicle. I uploaded a comment on here yesterday stating my honest opinion about Maple Leaf Motors then I later received a call today from Ms.Donna from For One Financial ( South Tacoma Lot ) stating To remove my comment or they would remove my appointment and refuse to service my car with the mechanics. I have a service contract for $1,000 so it is illegal for them to remove my appointment.I would rather have a voluntary repo than to keep dealing with the headaches and loop holes that this dealerships keeps sending me through.

Not gunna lie, Im a little upset with the fact Im paying what I am for a 00 with 218thousand and they also pulled the battery so the enigine MIL wasnt on when i left the lot but 10 mins down the road it pops on and then they say oh its just mileage it wasnt like that when we had it on the lot, Ive been on both sides of the dealership, mechanic and sales. Their scams wouldnt recommend to any one, but when the transmission went out 2 weeks after i got it. They got me right in and got it replaced. Only had it 1 day back and so far so good.. Ill definitely update if it goes down hill again..

Horrible service. Made a down payment, but had to cancel it because I wasnt able to get my insurance information and I wouldnt have been able to take the car off the lot. Now, it has been 3 weeks and I have not received my money. They keep giving me the run around and trying to blame my bank for why the money hasnt gone back into my account, but I have spoken with my bank and they even faxed the dealership the information from my account stating that the money has left my account and not been returned. Then I get a call from them stating that they received a letter from my bank stating that the issue has been resolved and that my bank will post the money into my account, but when I ask them to email me the letter, they refuse; so I call my bank and they state that they never sent a letter to the dealership stating this information. Will be contacting Better Business Bureau & a lawyer.They want me to retract my statement because it is slander. Everything that I have stated is a fact. You received a letter from my bank dated 05/12, but when calling my bank they have no recollection of any such letter and when I asked you to forward the letter to me, you refuse. It took less than 5 minutes to take my money but over 3 weeks and still counting to return it. Ridiculous. If you dont want bad reviews then do better business. Simple. & no, Im not threatening you, just letting you know my future course of action. You havent been of assistance anyways, so I dont need any further assistance from you. But its funny that once I filed my complaint with the BBB you decided to call my bank the next day.UPDATE: Not a false accusation at all. I eventually got my money back a month later & it was in fact Maple Leaf that was holding my money. I never received an apology or any type of contact from them taking responsibility for the hold up. Theyre probably still claiming that it wasnt their fault although it was, especially since the lady that was supposed to be working with me stopped answering my calls. Im glad my bank was finally able to get the situation resolved. BECU is awesome!

The vehicle had to be rebuilt at 10 months. Had to have the engine replaced after everything else was installed with brand new parts. When the mechanic took it for a test drive. He was hit and the car was totaled. The insurance was not given the owners names. Getting information about the vehicle was only gotten by the owners insurance, they had problems getting information. I am not referring anyone to them. The brand new battery was removed before the adjuster inspected the vehicle. I bought the battery 1 week before it went to their shop. I still have the receipt and warenty on the battery.

Rob is probably the most unpleasant, disrespectful and rude person I’ve ever had to encounter!His lack of customer service and HORRIBLE mouth when it comes to dealing with customers is far from professional. We buy a car, the very next day the check engine light comes on. We contacted the lot and the response we got from him was it’s not his problem or concern.Never again! If you purchase from them go to Spanaway NOT Tacoma.

They would have just told me exactly what the owner is saying below, and that is to go BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE instead of making a decent deal. Anyway, do what the owner says to do, GO PURCHASE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! Thank you.*ORIGINAL REVIEW* I bought from Maple Leaf in Spanaway. Im all about businesses making a reasonable profit, but this place is practically highway robbery! TALK ABOUT GREED! HIGH prices for HIGH mileage! Long story short, I basically got screwed! I was in a certain personal situation where I needed a vehicle to start going to work because I was about to become homeless due to personal circumstances. Explained this to the sales person (dont want to name) and I asked for a break and to make a deal on a 99 Ford Explorer XLT with 182,000 miles for $2,000, but nope, he just wanted to milk me for more money. Even for $2,000 they still would have made a reasonable profit! See what I am saying about GREED? Ended up paying $2,600 total. Well, hopefully, my review will help someone NOT get screwed. I really feel hurt.. simply because I originally loved working with them. I actually bragged to everyone .. All to be disappointed. A month after getting a car, my radiator went out. They did fix that for a very small fee, then before thanksgiving on my way to work my alternator went out. To which they couldn’t fix until the following week so I had to come out of pocket. Now my Catalyic converter is going out to the point I can’t drive the car longer than 15 minutes. I live in basically Spanaway and work in federal way. I purchased the car for $3900 & an extra $1000 for an warrenty. Which won’t fix that due to it dealing with my exhaust 🙄. I’ve explained this and pretty much im told it’s too bad. I have been wrote up at my job due to not being able to get there. Absolutely no empathy! I’m a college student . I just needed something Reliable!!!! Oh, to top it off, I’ve had the car an total of 7 months have already paid about $6500 and apparently still owe about $7000 so I can’t do a trade in. So in total I’m paying about $13,500 for a car that’s blue book value is $517 that does not work. I’m seriously screwed & there is no empathy at all. I seen the bad reviews, I ignored them ... man how do I wish I would’ve went to a different car lot because now I have no options but to pay for a non-running car. I just can’t stop crying. This is ruining my life, I may possibly lose my job bc I can’t get there. If I lose that, I lose everything. I don’t know what to do at this point

READ your contract. whenever a company has embedded in the contract that you cant take them to court most likely theyve been getting over on people for decades. Three decades to be exact. With. This is the place that sold me a car with a blown engine, transmission, and suspension. Oh, and the clutch went out in the first two weeks, so I took it back and all they offered me was a discount on a new clutch. The reality was that they threw in a used clutch disk, and charged me $600. No new pressure plate, no new throw out bearing, and (obviously) no resurfacing of the flywheel. Oh, did I mention that they never replaced the pilot bearing either? Aside from that, the car had to be salvaged only the one year after buying it because everything broke at the same time. The cost for a new engine, transmission, and suspension cost over the value of the car, making it a complete salvage. I ate $10,000 on that one. Theres a reason why so many people call this place The Lemon Lot.

Bought a car and 6 hours later check engine light came on called them and brought it in to be serviced it was my cataylic converter they wanted my to pay 250 of the 850 cost i refused to do that so they told me i could pick out another car well there was nothing on there lot that i wanted so they sent me to there spanaway lot. Now here is the kicker i get there test drive a few cars and finally decide on a malibu i knew off the top when i left the lot and went to put gas in it that something was wrong cause it would not take the gas so anyways i made it back to tacoma to do the paperwork and told the guy about the gas he said it might be full and the gas lever is broke so he started it up 2 mins later it stopped running he started it again it stopped running finally he says to me ok im just going to give you your money back or you can keep the car and deal with it you have a warrenty hell no i want my money!!!! I was in tacoma i live in seatac they kept 200 hundred dollars of the 1000 that i gave them as a down payment cause i had the first car for 4 days so i only got back 800 and 65 of that i had to spend on a cab back to seattle. These peole are the worst car hop treats you better than them so i would think twice before going there yeah they give good deals but at the end of the day you want a car thats dependable!!!!
