This place is wonderful! I had an awful experience from David’s bridal shop the day before, so I was worried that my next appointment with bridal for a cause may be the same. It is not! The ladies who work here are very helpful! I tried on a lot of dress and end up getting my wedding dress for just 150 dollar! With only a couple minor flaws, but I don’t mind. You can not beat that price!

The staff was so friendly and helpful and the prices were very reasonable! The dresses are in great shape, definitely make this your first stop for bridal. You will be able to find what you are looking for much cheaper than brand new bridal stores.

Although I didnt find my perfect dress here, it was such a cute and hip place. There were so many dresses in all sizes and styles. It was a little warm in there so after trying on the second dress, I was really sweating. It was nice besides that!

I highly recommend Brides for a Cause!I had multiple try-on appointments at Tacoma and Seattle spaced months apart, and I found my dress at the third appointment! The inventory changes frequently. Their dresses are current and from desirable designers i.e. BHLDN and Jenny Yoo.All consultants were friendly and willing to help as much or as little as I needed.Lauren at Tacoma helped me find my dress and I am so glad she was there! Lauren is stylish and sweet, and it felt like I was hanging out with a girlfriend. She has great insights on fit, dry cleaning, and alterations. I had an overall wonderful experience here!

I highly recommend Brides for a Cause! They had a well organized and clean store with great variety of dresses and the prices are very affordable. The staff were friendly and very helpful with questions and making some dress recommendations. I read a lot of comments about some brides being upset about the lack of staff availability and that was not my experience! I do think it is important to remember though that this is a non profit and they might be working with minimal staff. Their website also explains the role of staff very clearly.

Loved buying my dress here! No pressure, no fuss like you’d find at traditional bridal boutiques. I love that my wedding dress purchase will go towards a good cause and I didn’t have to fork over a whole months paycheck for it! So in love with my dress and so happy I found it at Brides for a Cause!

I was in a tough situation as the wedding dress I ordered never arrived and I had two weeks to replace it. Chelsea was more than helpful in selecting possibilities that fit my scheme. As someone who does not particularly enjoy trying on clothes, let alone wedding dresses, and obviously under stress, I was entirely comfortable while I combed through my options and felt no added pressure. The dresses are beautiful, different and well maintained without the expected sticker shock.

Super please to find my wedding dress here! Brand new, originally $5000, but I paid $400! I visited a few of their locations because the inventory is always different and always changing. Customer service was helpful but not invasive, which is just right for me.

I walked past this boutique while staying in an Airbnb one street over and felt compelled to book an appointment. They were able to get me in the next morning and Chelsea gave me just the right amount of help. I had not looked at any gowns in the past, let alone tried them on. The first dress I picked was the one. It fits perfectly! I cannot thank Chelsea and this store enough for making this experience so smooth. I am from Florida and she shipped the dress next day!

I had the best experience at Brides for a Cause in Tacoma! My original dress didnt turn out the way I was expecting from the tailor, so I went to BFAC two weeks before my wedding hoping to find something off the rack. Marina asked me what I might be looking for and came out with a dress that had just arrived and hadnt hit the rack yet. It was the first dress I tried on and the one I ended up going with! On top of that, it was an unbelievable bargain at $250.They have tons of options and if you cant find exactly what youre looking for, you can always hit up their Seattle store. Would highly recommend any bride check out BFAC before looking for a full-priced dress.

I didnt end up buying a dress here, but I had a great shopping experience. If you, like me, are not a fan of the pushy in-your-face everyone-staring-at-you experience of typical bridal stores then Brides for a Cause is definitely worth a visit! They let me browse the racks and try on dresses myself with no pressure, which was a huge breath of fresh air. The staff were nearby and available for help if I needed any, and Im sure if I had wanted more personal attention Id have gotten some but they were really good at reading me and mostly let me do my own thing which was awesome. The only thing Ill say is they dont have great selection in sizes 14 & up BUT they rely entirely on donations so that really isnt their fault, and theyre open about this on their website too. But if youre a plus size bride its just something to keep in mind.

The ladies there are very nice. They take you to the dressing room and you have options of trying on different things with the dresses (veil, shoes etc.) I had a great time and found a dress.

Highly recommend to those looking for their dream wedding dress. The selection is huge with all styles, sizes, and colors of white! My dad and I went in yesterday with no plans to purchase but ended up finding my dream dress. They have samples dresses from all types of designers including the very exclusive as well as donated dresses from other brides. We ended up purchasing a one of a Lazaro gown for a fraction of its retail price! The icing on top of the cake is the extremely friendly and helpful staff and that the large majority of the proceeds go to charity! Look no further for a one of a kind experience at a one of a kind location!

Chelsea was amazing! I almost walked out, but I was stopped in my tracks when I saw the dress of my dreams (that I was convinced Id have to get it custom made). I was blown away. They have competitive prices. If I were going g to get this dress anywhere else, I would pay at least 3 times the price.Their variety is amazing. The dressing rooms are cozy. 11/10 would recommend.

Like many reviewers, I went in not expecting to purchase. This was my first wedding dress try-on experience and was expecting to simply figure out which style I liked and nothing more. I ended up finding a beautiful gown that fit great, decently priced, and no flaws that I could see. Chelsea was the one who checked me and my mom in and she was super helpful but also gave us space to try on and figure it out on our own which dresses we liked/zero pressure, which I really appreciated. Thank you so much and thanks for donating to a good cause! They also have a rack of “last chance” dresses priced at $150 for the thrifty bride. Appreciate I was able to stay in budget and feeling thankful for this store!

This was my second time coming to the Tacoma location and had the pleasure of having Chelsea as my wedding dress stylist again. The second time I went I didnt have any with me so she was so helpful with making sure she helped me getting in and out of dresses. She truly made wedding dress shopping the best experience and she is so kind! Chelsea helped me find THE dress and Im so thankful for her help! I had the most amazing experience finding my dress! As soon as I came in I was greeted with a smile. Everyone was careing and genuine. This is an amazing non-for profit who really cares about helping the community and the brides that come in everyday! On day 1, I picked out 5 dresses and narrowed them down to 3. Chelsea was super helpful and attentive. She even laced all the corset dresses up all the way to make sure I got the full effect of the dress! Chelsea had said I cant wait for you to try that one on, I was skeptical of course! On day 2, I came back with my family to choose the one. Again Chelsea was so helpful lacing up the corsets again! I left today with the dress that Chelsea had made the comment for!I found my dress! And I love it!!

Wonderful cause! Wonderful store and crew! Found my dream dress for 1/15th the retail price after looking online everywhere! If you dont mind used, support this place! Would highly recommend DONATING to and shopping from!However, set your expectations accordingly. Approach like a Sample Sale, know what style/cut you want because sizes PER dressmodel will be limited. Also these dresses will most likely need to be spot Or dry cleaned before you take them to the tailor. Unfortunately, Makeup stains are common from people trying on, but all mine came out with a good cleaner. And inspect your dress before purchasing because all sales are final!

This wedding shop is an absolute dream! Not only do they have an insane amount of choices but their dresses are priced SO well. The shop was so well decorated, very easy to shop in and try on dresses. Also, the girls working there were so knowledgeable. I had the pleasure of working with Chelsea in the Tacoma store and she truly helped me see the potential for the dress my sister picked out for me. The dress was 3 sizes too big so I was very iffy at first. I said yes to the dress, got it altered and it was absolutely perfect! Do yourself a favor and shop here! I had such a great experience. Booking an appointment online is super easy! The shop itself is really cute and clean. My experience was during COVID-19, but I was able to pick out whatever gowns I wanted with no pressure at all. The staff were super friendly and offered assistance and answered questions. When I booked the appointment online I was able to provide comments about the dress I was looking for and the staff members absolutely read my comments and offered some suggestions which was SO thoughtful. I had a lot of fun trying on so many different dresses. They have such a great selection! Of course the dresses will be different for every person, but that was part of the fun - not knowing what they would have and just trying on all sorts of styles. I really enjoyed my shopping experience. I did end up purchasing an amazing gown. I would just highly recommend this place to anybody! I think the staff helping me was Alyssa, and she was also SO wonderful! Thanks ladies!

Lots of options but covid restrictions made dress shopping less fun. I was only allowed 1 guest and she had to stay seated while I looked for dresses to try. The 3 stars are for the ultra strict covid guidelines. However, the options and shop itself were great.

I loved coming to Brides for a Cause, first of all because they have a great mission. Also all of their dresses are very reasonable and you can actually try on your size! Most bridal stores have only samples but since they are selling dresses off the rack they actually have your size. The girls are very friendly and helpful. Their recommendations where spot on and everyone was so kind. I would definitely recommend trying dresses on here, even though I didnt find my dress here I had a lovely experience.

I went to look at wedding dresses on 07/12. I found a dress that I really loved, but was unsure and left without purchasing. After sleeping on it, I realized that was the one! Had a great experience finding my dress here! The woman working was super friendly and helpful. I tried on three dresses and loved them all but ultimately went with the first one I tried on. They wrapped the dress up for me and gave me contact for hemming. Price was great too!

When arriving at this bridal shop with my mother and aunt today I was severely disappointed with the customer service. The staff did not help my mother with anything other then to find her dressing room; when finding the style of a wedding dress a bride is most often overwhelmed, and is given options by staff to help make a easier for a potential dress. However this was not the case when going to “Bride for a cause”; not only did the staff forget to show any potential dresses that might be of interest for my mother, but then a staff member proceeds to raise their voice at my mother when she was looking down the lanes for a potential dress. The staff member had assumed that she was apart of a bridesmaids party when it was she who was the bride. I would not recommend this bridal shop to one of my friends, let alone my worst enemy-keep in mind this is coming from a fifteen year old girl who observed this mortifying customer service.

I went it to try on wedding dresses and get an idea of what I like. I tried on many dresses with a lot of help and no rush service. I worked with Chelsea and she was just amazing. She was helpful and personableWe found a lot in common and she just was always there to help. We just kept trying on stuff even though I was pretty sure I had perfect dream dress. I also hadnt had shoes with me and she brought over beautiful heels to wear the entire time so I could try them out and they were only $15 although very gorgeous and comfy. We spent about 2 1/2 hrs in there. I bought a wedding dress for $250 that needs no alterations. I bought a reception dress for $50. I got the shoes, a sash and hairpiece altogether for $375. Amazing prices and staff. Do know going in some dresses have minor fixes needed, but they have a list of alteration people and places they recommend. Also,first time trying on dresses and it just was so perfect!!

Truly an incredible experience, the best wedding dress shopping experience to date! I would suggest coming in the morning on a week day because you will most likely have the whole shop to yourself which was great. The bridal specialist were very nice and not pushy for a sale which made me feel so much matter than every other boutique.The prices are AMAZING, the boutique is very cute/chic, and the aspect of giving to charity just sets this place over the top. Highly recommend!! I found my dream dress that happened to be new for a great price! Just wow! Came over the weekend to shop and was blown away at all the gorgeous dresses! I came with a bigger group, I had 4 friends with me, and the staff was super accommodating and sweet. It was really relaxing to pick out dresses that I liked rather than having something I didnt want shoved on me to try on. You can take your time, have fun, and just try on!

Went here with my mother and sister to find a wedding dress for my sister. They had a good selection of dresses and my sister found a beautiful dress that fit her perfectly. The staff was very nice and helpful. Its walk in only so it was fairly busy and the staff is great but being so busy they were not able to to give each bride their undivided attention. Still they were very helpful, kind, and had the talent of knowing what would look best on each gal there!

I said yes to my dress yesterday! It was the 3rd dress out of 5 we picked. Very friendly people and they do not hover or push you into buying. My friend and I were able to just come in and do our own thing.

We arrived early on a Saturday morning, 7 people total (bride, her mother, sister, mil, and 3 kids). The ladies at front helped direct us, we found exactly what bride wanted and got a great price. Great selection of styles and sizes

I photographed a wedding (M. Laine Photography) and one of the brides purchased their dress here. It sounded like she had a great experience. Her idea was to add lace from her mothers dress onto her own and they found the perfect dress to make that happen. It looked flawless in the end, too!

My sister found her dress here. Great environment for brides who are not wanting to spend a lot on their dress and do not want someone all over them. The associated are friendly and helpful and do not shower you with reasons to buy a dress. I recommend to every bride!

My daughter is planning her wedding and chose Brides for a Cause because of their charity work. The less expensive dresses are a bonus! The company acts as a typical bridal shop, offering the same amenities. The selection surprised me. If you dont find what you want in the Tacoma store you can travel to their warehouse in Portland, OR, and your savings on the dress will more than pay for the trip!

I went in to the Tacoma shop on a whim and found the perfect dress for me within a half hour. It was a quick and painless process and had someone willing to help whenever I needed it. However, their alterations person was outrageously expensive. She was asking for $350 for a simple fix. I found someone else to do it for less... half the price to be exact.

We went in search of a bridesmaid dress and were surprised at the selection in the color and style that we were looking for. While we didnt find the dress this time, well be back later to see what has come in. Its completely dependent on what is donated to the shop, but all of the dresses we looked at were $20, its worth stopping by just to see whats in! The dressing area is communal, so a large party on the weekend wouldnt work well, but on a Tuesday afternoon there was only one other party in the shop. The staff was very helpful and even gave great recommendations for a place to eat nearby!

I came in here for my wedding dress and left being completely ripped off..I purchased my dress here and when I got home and looked at it in the bag I found not a couple but allot of buttons missing on top of that the lace looked like it was washed it had that fuzzy feel to it also it looked like someone had dragged it through the dirt so many stains on the bottom. It said sample on it so I knew it wouldn’t be in perfect condition but to sell a dress like this is not okay.. I had emailed and told them the situation very nicely but they replied with no care or concern telling me I could get SOME of my money back by selling it, and that they would recommend a seamstress.. which doesn’t help the fact of the fuzzy lace and stains. They had told me they purchased the dress as a sample on blhd I looked on the site and they have brand new ones for the exact same price I had purchased it for. So for the price I paid I could have gotten a brand new one.To me this is poor customer service and very disappointing your wedding day is important and this place left me feeling terrible.. shame on you brides for a cause!!.As a response to your very passive aggressive reply. I was busy planning a wedding and it was not a month until I had written you very nicely about how you had sold me a very beaten up and used wedding dress in which I had found the same exact dress online for the SAME PRIICE that you had sold mine for used and stained. Again shame on you for not taking responsibility about the mistake your company had made. Or doing anything to correct it. The girls in the store had not pointed any of these faults in the dress out they were extremely unhelpful. Usually a good company will correct a mistake again, very poor customer service. I highly do NOT recommend anyone coming here and risking the chance of your wedding getting screwed up. And again shame on you. My friend had to give me her wedding dress because my budget was spent on a stained dress because I could not resell it when I could have just looked online and purchased the same dress BRAND NEW for the SAME PRICE.Thanks for screwing up my wedding brides for a cause. 👍🏻

Really loved the idea of this place. They just have all the dresses on racks organized by size. When I went you could pick up to 3 at a time to try on and when you had the three picked out and employee would take them and let you know when a room was ready if there was a line. They dont help you try on the dresses here so would probably be best if you brought someone with you to help zip up the back. Though the girls working there would probably be happy to help if they werent busy. They had less womens or plus size dresses to choose from which is why I didnt find my dress here on two different trips but its definitely worth taking a look here!

If you are looking to still have your dream wedding dress and you are on a budget, look no more. There are so many styles and sizes to choose from the sky was the limit. I was not only supporting a local charity, I was getting the dress of my dreams. I cant say enough positive words about this bridal shop. I walked in not even expecting to find a dress, I had been into other bridal shops during the day and was having a disappointing experience in all the higher end shops I walked into Brides for a Cause wanting to relax and just look around for fun. The lady working there that day was so sweet! When we walked in we told her we were only there to look around and she was VERY relaxed and understanding unlike other bridal shops I have been into that are pushy, and rude if you dont find a dress you like. This bridal shop is a must go to if youre getting married. They have so many beautiful dresses to chose from and such sweet employees that work there. Chelsea went above and beyond my expectations to make my experience very memorable. I have never met someone as patient and understanding as her in the bridal world! I ended up leaving with a dress that day and I saved a lot of money. Thank you Brides for a Cause for such an amazing experience!

These guys were amazing. I didnt feel any pressure to purchase while in there. Havemt got any spam mail since I went unlike Davids Bridal. And the changing area is perfect mirrors everywhere.

Brides for a cause is such an amazing place! My cousin found her wedding dress there, and the service was great both times I had gone to different locations, I unfortunately wasnt able to find a dress but I would definitely go back.

The woman working was incredibly nice and helpful. She knew about the mission of the company as well. The only bad thing is that the larger sizes are limited, but thats not the fault of the company.
