Always exceptionally clean, the young lady in electronics is quite knowledgeable, and quick to set up your new phone and show you how to use it. Store staff are pleasant and helpful; they will actually walk you to the item that you are looking for. Check out is convenient, and end caps are well placed. Theres actually enough room in the aisles that when you wish to hold it out it doesnt drape over something else. Its also nice that there are not so many items crammed on the rack that they fall to the floor or you cannot get an idea of the selection.
Target is always great to come to for my needs. Always clean, friendly, and an easy trip. The cashier we had today, who said it was their first day also, did amazing! Super friendly and nice to talk to. One of the better interactions I have had at a check out from multiple stores in a long time!

Dropped in to pick up a game. There was no one in electronics but when I pushed for service a lady promptly showed up. She was covering for someone on break but still helped me out. She even matched the online price for me. I was in and out very quickly.
3 items left, ordered online for in store pickup. Hours go by and no update. Finally an update. Oops, sorry but your item is gone. Instead of fulfilling the order, the check collectors at this Target just sit back and do as little as possible. Hire better employees that want to work.
I have used drive-up for over a year at the location in Olympia and this location TACOMA is horrible at that. I recommend that if you do have to use drive-up look at your items before you leave. The other day I came to pick up my order and I only got half of my order... which is odd because I ordered everything together and when I got the notification that my order was ready everything was there and nothing was canceled. Anyways, I got there and the lady didnt even say anything or look at me just threw the few items in my car and I just waited there confused until I got the opportunity to ask for the rest of my items. After 15 min I finally saw someone come back again and I was able to talk to them (this was a different lady) and at this point she was going back inside to see what was wrong. The first lady comes back outside to tell me I didnt get everything because my order wasnt ready yet, and at this point she is practically yelling at me while I am trying to explain to her everything showed up on my app as ready. I have worked at target before specifically picking drive up orders!!!! A notification does not get sent if your whole order is not ready unless you had separate orders. I did not have separate orders. Anyways, just make sure you check your items from this location because I have had a few bad experiences using drive-up here.
I love shopping at Target! Its my go to all around store. Lots of good quality stuff you can find at reasonable prices.

My first time to this store, I used the Drive-Up option to limit my time in store. There were plenty of Drive-Up parking spaces, and employees were ready before I even took out my phone to say I was at the store. The Target app made it easy to order for curbside pickup & would recommend everyone to use it.Efficient, organized, plenty of inventory
I feel like a lot of the employees just dont really want to help anyone. They avoid your eyes and focus on the task at hand. What a pain. I used to work for Target, and the job sucks major a** but at least I was friendly and eager to help people.

They have really geeat selection of clothing and shoes....they follow trends...prices are good too...they have a large make up selection including myself and other brands...the fresh produce section always is kept up and looks good. They have little of everything...

Quality, value, convenience and safety. When I was finished shopping I walked to the check-out area. There were very few people in the store and the only checkstand that was open was the 18 or less line. The cashier motioned me over to her line even though I clearly had more than eight items. Halfway through my (very quick checkout) a man came up in line and verbally attacked me repeatedly. The cashier was very polite and asked security to assist. The man ended up leaving and the security team escorted me to my car because I was terrified to go alone. Awesome teamwork!
I am quite impressed of the layout at this Target. Everything is fairly easy to find. The pharmacy is great. I usually don’t buy food here because of the low inventory. The electronics, toys, and furniture are ideal and good quality. The self checkout system is very fast. They have many great systems of delivery. This includes normal delivery, drive up delivery, and faster delivery. Their website offers a lot of useful items as well. The toys here are actually pretty cheap compared to other stores. In summary, this is a good store for great quality and service.
This store is large, clean and organized. It has a great selection of products at a reasonable price to choose from. Theres a Starbucks at the front of the store and an eatery next to it. The produce looks fresh and they have public restrooms.
Went here for a Mothers Day present and had to you use the restroomThere was no toilet paper in one anothr toilet was full...not flushed. As well as the crash cans to finisf cleaning were OVER flowing. As well the mens door was open thet trash was full in there as well.. So nasty!

Great service by your associate, who was out super-fast. I like that we can notify you when were on our way to expedite the pickup. And your system is the most contact-less Ive encountered in using pickup options at various stores.
I went to your location in North Tacoma, WA. The cashier was friendly and new and could not figure out why the coupon I was using would not ring up. She asked an associate and she suggested breaking them into smaller transactions when that didnt work a floor lead or manager was waved for help. Instead of helping us figure out what we were doing wrong he just stated he didnt feel comfortable with allowing me to apply the coupons to the product. I had asked to see the policy so I could try to figure out what was wrong, the manager said he would bring it and instead he called the security supervisor on me and a woman came out and rudely stated that their policy was whatever the coupon said. No help, no customer service just intimidation tactics to make sure that they would not be challenged with questions they did not want to take the time to figure out the answer to, by myself or the cashier. I hate to think that he called security on me since I happened to be biracial and so was the security admin but that is what actuality of the situation. He did not want to deal with me so he called someone not in customer service but in an intimidating role to take care of her own people and get me out the store. They also left their new cashier none the wiser when she reached out for help. All they had to do was take a minute and provide the policy which was what I had politely asked for or say Im not familiar with this but if you stop by tomorrow the lead on shift may be more knowledgeable to help you in this. This is terrible leadership for customers and staff. The following day I went to a different target where they were able to point out a new fine print which changed the size the coupon could be applied to and just like that I was helped and able to understand, it took seconds and it was a very pleasant experience.
Because of the convenience of getting all shopping done. Groceries,clothing,gift buying,its all there.However your on line bill paying is not user friendly. Should just make it simple instead of all the different navigations.
Ive been to alot of targets in my life time but have never been to one so cracked out looking. I walked in and walked right out! Really sketchy looking shoppers and staff. To busy of an area as well and ive noticed since being in WA, people have one hell of a staring problem.
It’s target so I’ll obviously keep going back, but the service leaves a lot to be desired compared to many other targets I’ve frequented or worked.
I like this location, but they really need more than one person working the customer service area.

Less than helpful, very rude and condescending staff members. Looking for 1 particular item and they cant be bothered to help. Just an automatic dismissal from not just 1, but 2 employees- 1 of them was a supervisor no less. As much money as I spend here, a little bit of help should not be too difficult a task, but apparently customer service is not in fashion these days. Ill be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

This was my first time using pickup. I had ordered a wallet and there was only 1 available so I wanted to make sure I could get it. It was so easy to do.
Target near 19th and union is the only store where the employees clean the self check out stalls after each customer use. Women Employee Tareen cleaned the touch screens and self check outs after each customer use which no other stores do. She deserves a raise for her work ethic and care. The store itself is good to shop at, although there isnt much of a male clothing section. 1/5 for the electronics department, as they sell old display TVs which they keep on or 12 hours a day and they resell at 25% off which is not reasonable and they do not lower the prices when asked by customers.5/5 star Update: employee Alicia who was working at self checkout today 2/10/2021 she was doing her job well, assisting customers, and was kind enough to open an empty register when customers piled up (they formed a line because she was processing my info for a red card) she wasnt open but still assisted customers. She should be given a raise and trained for a better position. Many other employees wouldnt deal with customers questions as she had, when I had a question, she got me an answer.Only thing is she didnt wipe down check out stations after each customer use like Ive seen other Target employees do such as Tareen.
This is by far the worst target I have been to. The place is so disorganized even the employees don’t know where things are. Almost everything was out of stock and multiple customers were without masks.
Lack of cashiers at the store in the evenings is causing long lines. Tonight there were 2 checkers and long lines at both along with long lines for the self-checkout. This seems to be the new normal for the evening at this store. People are commenting on it while in line so I hope it is worth annoyed customers for the Managers low labor.
Good service I would definitely go here again. As a fan of Shane Dawson, they had his second book. I couldn’t find the first one but they told me very respectively that they didn’t have it right now.

Dont come here for phone accessories unless youre an Apple drone.They sell the newest Samsung phones but zero accessories for them.Over 2 aisles full of Apple options but nothing for the new Note 10s.The store itself is pretty nice

The staff at this Target are super friendly & organized. I’ve been especially impressed by how they handled holiday shopping traffic over Black Friday and Christmas Eve. They were all cheerful and brought their A-game! I cannot day enough good things about how well they handled everything.

Theres no denying that I can always find the perfect reason to make a Target run! The team at this particular location are super friendly and helpful. They do an excellent job at checking customers out efficiently and have a no-fuss return policy. I appreciate that the customer service/return counter is open during all business hours (unlike Wally World, which closes its well before closing time).The clothing departments are clean and organized, and items are easy to locate. I love the same-day pick up and delivery services they offer - Ive used both many times and have never experienced any problems with either. Im hoping that this location gets to upgrade some of its department displays like Ive seen at other locations (Lake Stevens, Renton and Federal Way).I am super impressed with Targets loyalty program, as it seems to be one of the most fruitful of any I participate in. On a recent trip, I was able to apply my full loyalty earnings, which was close to $12. I hadnt even been shopping at Target very much prior to this due to Covid-19, and having previously applied my reward balance not that long ago, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I had saved up! If you combine Targets lucrative rewards program, with its frequent buy a certain amount of something, get a $5 to $20 Target gift card to use at a later time, Id argue that Targets bottom line prices come in below those of Walmart.

Shout out to Guests Services employ Zachariah really went above and beyond this morning with help on a online order with baby formula.
One major plus factor is that the order was ready to pick up in a matter of minutes after the order was placed. Also I love the fact that they will retrieve an order that same day as long as it was order was placed before 7:00 pm. And the fact that I have till closing to pick up my order made it really convenient to work the order pick up around my time schedule and not theirs.
Target is nicer then most clothing. stores.,they. have. a. better. Choice of clothes andI. feel they are more helpful. to their customers then most clothing stores.
I love the wide aisles. The grocery area is the perfect size to find most things I need and not so large that it is hard to find things. They have some very good sales, and I think overall Target is a very well managed company. I was confused by the app, and two different employees helped me along. One day in checkout a manager with an English accent asked, Would you like me to show you? when I said the app confused me. After I had paid for my purchases, he patiently showed me different features of the app. Also, no small thing, the wait times are much less compared to other stores I have shopped at on the same days and times.
I enjoy the friendliness of the individuals at this particular store. Im in here once a week every week, the Starbucks up front is a nice convenient location to grab a cup of coffee before you take a stroll through the store to look for the products that you might be purchasing. Youre always able to find the items that are marked for clearance in the childrens section, the toy section seems to always be rather neat and organized.
Every time I come there are some pretty long lines due to only a few registers being open. Today however my cashier was Greg, he was super nice, did an amazing job on talking up the red card they offer to get 5% off your purchases as well as free shipping when you order online. Sounds like a pretty good deal.

Easily accessible, good selection, a decent sized parking lot, close to the highway. Staff is competent and friendly. Self checkout makes quick trips much easier, especially for single items. Restrooms are fairly clean.
The customer service was excellent from moment I walked in up until i left.
I looked on line to see if they had a charger for my Chromebook Acer and the website I was on indicated they did and the cost would be around 9.98. When I got to that particular Target I was informed by the customer service clerk in electronics he informed me the only charger theyve ever had in quite some time was a universal one costing 84.98. That wasnt the first store is gone to that day that said something along the same lines. My beef, espeysince I have 25 years of customer service experience, I didnt see what I saw on line . I realize that a lot of business es will do that in order to get consumers to give up and pay the higher price. Thats not fair to the consumer waisting Transportation, time, effort, and attitude just to get what they need.
The cashiers are rude and the staff at the stores are rude as well the cash machiene did not work as well which was an atm machiene by the bathrooms
At Target on a Monday afternoon around 3:30-4 the line was wrapped all the way to the dog food and cleaning supplies with one checker open. When out of no where 5+ Target worker start coming out of the wood works in their various shades of red and khaki. Suddenly, the outrageously long line was completely dispersed; and myself once at the end of it, was checked out, groceries bagged and out the door in less than 10 minutes. Hoorah Target!

This target has the most Scenic of view of any other target (can see mt rainier from the parking lot on a clear day). However, the rest is pretty standard. It is a Target. It sells things that target sells.
Little choice in certain popular items. Exam: Ice Cream brands/ flavors. Soda pop, lacking Variety ie. Generic diet rootbeer. Hard to knw where product locations are in grocery. Personel didnt even knw, found out they didnt even carry Durkee dried onions fro casserol. Lacking breads and high priced.

Ordered an item (from store stock) for pickup. Item that they attempted to sell me was not the item I ordered - wrong size. I was offered so you want this order cancelled?... after a debate that this was the item I ordered - I had my order email proving the item at the counter was not the size I ordered. Luckily I was able to find the 1 item in my size in stock; I ordered because I feared that the single item could be sold or would be very difficult to find (it was). Overall poor experience.
Are they closing the store? Easily one of the worst targets ive been to. They never stock anything, I regularly find entire shelves cleared, completely empty displays. Looks like they are going out of business. The store is also pretty disorganized and dirty
I have had two returns at Target and both have gone badly from a customer service standpoint, Return policy standpoint and general customer experience standpoint. In all three categories you fell short from satisfying me and I will not only not recommend you as a retail outlet, but I will tell everyone that I know to stop doing business with you and use Amazon instead.

Like any typical Target, but that makes it easy to navigate. Theres typically a good bit of staff on the floor when Im there during busy periods and you hear announcements over the pa for backup cashiers which means they monitor lines. Pretty solid overall but not amazing.

Actually, this is more directed at the food court area than the rest of the store. Dont bother getting in line for anything at the food court, as the employees there are easily overwhelmed by groups larger than two. Moving at the speed of derp, the employees there will take on average 20 minutes per customer. Often asking to have the customer repeat the order and still managing to screw that up.

I love Target, but everytime I come here now I have to check the Target app first to make sure what I want is in stock because a ton of what I need is never in stock. But apparently I cant trust the app either because lately its been telling me stuff is in stock and when I get there its not! I also can NEVER find an employee in the grocery department after noon. Fix your inventory issues please!!
I am asking Target to phase out single-use plastics and immediately start shifting toward systems of refill and reuse.Target has an opportunity to play a leading role in phasing out single-use, throwaway plastics. Corporate plastic pollution is destroying our oceans and wreaking havoc on marine life. The equivalent of one garbage truck worth of plastic enters the oceans every minute. Hoping Target makes the decision to lead the way.
Awesome ladies in customer service department. First time Ive returned something in years without a receipt and wasnt treated like a criminal or thief for returning it. Granted the policy is not the greatest and i had to exchange it anf couldnt find the right item. None the less the women that work there are exceptionally sweet. Thanks for everything :)

It was simple, fast, great experience. I loved it.. my 9 year old daughter told me about this. All I had to do was go online to target, select my child’s school, target already had the school supply list, I clicked the school and my order was ready with in 2 hours.. anything on the list target couldn’t match, like the pencils, because schools are pretty picky about those, showed up on the bottom and I just went and picked out ourself. So easy.. I’ll be doing this every year..
Customer service was prompt and polite. plus got lucky and there was no line or wait for online pickup. take all my money thanks!

I bought an air-conditioner at a great sale price $80 I live in Tacoma and there was not one to be had for love or money on this side of the bridge. The Union ave store called Gig Harbor and they were reluctant to put it on hold, they promised to do so for an hour. I went, I saw I bought, with cash. Happy with my score I took it home and my then s/o and I had relief from the heat, for about two weeks. It started sieving water from the unit! We waited until we had married which was more urgent at the time and took it back which by now I had misplaced the receipt.and Again one store had two left. We did not want our money only a replacement unit. The deal was no deal and the bad customer service we got made it worse. Gig Harbor Target is rude dont shop there if a you dont have to.
Every Washington state target employee I have been helped by, except one cashier, has been extremely unhelpful and unfriendly, to the extent that they are actually counterproductive. I used to work at Target and I understand why they would be unhappy, but this level of rudeness impatience and refusal to help or even smile at a guest who is pleasant, is just beyond tolerable. It takes a special kind of dysfunctional hiring process to fill a company with so many horrible employees.
Ive had nothing but good interactions at this store. The attached are friendly and helpful without needing to chase them down theyre always ready to find if you have a question. Ive had to tried things and one time my shredder got the receipt for something that brine a week later.. shredded it on accident with other paper. Any other place would have told me tough stuff, but Target was very helpful. I had to git through as few extra hoops to get it returned but it all worked out in the end. If I just wanted to exchange it would have been five minutes but I didnt want that model I didnt know if I had a fluke or if it was common. Target rocks... ESPECIALLY with Walmart (ugh) moving in near... for the downsides, It has actually make the people that shop at Target a lot nicer!
Best place to buy groceries ever! The staff is so friendly and obviously happy with their job, great selection, and the cartwheel app and sales are a great insentive to come back.The only thing I would change about this place is the bathrooms. They smell and feel like rest stop stalls, even Walmart has nicer bathrooms unfortunately!
