They did what they said they would when they said....but I feel they are not all that skilled. They told me it took them .7 hours to take the jack foot off my trailer, it is literally a pin held in with a cotter pin. The guy who called me told me they had to use a hot wrench to get the jack foot off! The first photo was what they used a hot wrench on. It was $217 for the jack foot and installation.The other thing they did was put a new awning on, and my beef there is they could/would not use the old tube and motor that was good. It needed fabric and new side arms, but that was too much trouble. Perhaps it was discontinued, it was 5 years old.Update:We stopped in to have a chat with the owner and detail our issues in person. He seemed to recall things that never happened, like using heat to remove the jack foot, which I was able to prove false by photos I took of the jack foot, which had no visible heat damage. We discussed things like the estimate taking two months, the fact that his estimates when quoted lacked information like hundreds of dollars in parts. In the end his resolution was to offer me a refund for an estimate never preformed ($75 plus tax) and $150 off the labor if we decide to have him replace our bumper with a heavy duty model to support our bikes. The quote never included a new bumper, I was specifically told it was mostly labor, accept for about $80 for parts. (bumper reinforcement was quoted at $800+) When he told us that it was for a new bumper, we felt like he made that up on the spot to save face.Honestly, I felt like he was evasive and made a lot of excuses about labor. He said new people had filled rolls in the company and did not have the training yet to deal with them, or were overwhelmed. Okay, I get it, but it still doesnt take three quarters of an hour to remove that jack foot.I was told by the owner that the reason they did not use the old awning tube and motor was because they could not test it. He said he had no idea if something was bent or making noise. I told him that I tested it, but that was not good enough for him. In the end I asked for the parts back, and the bad awning was up in his loft...funny place to put a bad part. My gut tells me that it would have been sold to the next guy who needed his awning repaired.Folks, its just poor communication, and price gouging. Sure, they will do the work...if you can get an estimate before your tires rot. I just cant change my review, I am really not satisfied. I think two stars is a little high, perhaps one star would be more appropriate. I just felt the owner was dishonest about the situation.

Genesis fixed my generator. I thought they did the job in a short amount of time for what had to be done as the generator had to be removed from the motorhome. I thought the price was fair and I didn’t have to wait months to get an appointment like other places. They covered the floor in plastic so nothing got dirty and I got it back better than I had left it. Everyone there was very nice and explained to me every step that was being done. Excellent job.

I meant to come back and amend this quite a while back. These folks got me in promptly, and they did the requested work as scheduled, as well as taking care of a couple other issues that came up in the meantime with this older vehicle. I initially rated a 4 only because it seemed something wasnt working properly, but it was a repair done with aftermarket parts (all that was available for this vehicle), and it functions as well as can be expected. This place is a total rip off! They repaired our travel trailer and billed my insurance 6 thousand dollars, the repairs are shoddy and amateurish. They told us they were waiting on parts when nothing new was used. The front office girl then lied to my face on several occasions. Well be talking to the BBB regarding this place. Do not trust these people with your RV!

They not only fixed the problem but they explained what was going on step by step so there were no surprises or over charge labor. We purchased our first RV new in 2016, a class C Jayco Melbourne 24L, built on the diesel Sprinter 3500 chassis. It was a significant investment (which we have really enjoyed), and after a few disappointing customer service experiences from the dealer, after it came out from under warranty we decided to give our service business to Genesis.The team there has consistently done a great and pro-active job keeping our RV in top condition. But its a recent above and beyond experience that proved to me the value of having Genesis on our side.We were on a coast-to-coast tour and as we neared our destination in Pennsylvania, through a moment of tired confusion at a BP station (which uses green handles for diesel when everyone else in the nation uses them for diesel) I accidentally put 4 gallons of regular fuel in my diesel tank. I had no idea what to do and didnt want to risk starting the engine. It was late on a weekend and the phone at Genesis went to an after-hours message. The owner, Brian, formerly attended our church, so I called a mutual friend who shared Brians personal cellphone. Desperate, I called it, half expecting another answering machine message. But Brian himself answered, and immediately set out to give me guidance on exactly what I needed to do. He also asked me to call him back to let him know how it worked out.After following his instructions, we were relieved to make it safely to our destination in Pennsylvania. Ill be forever grateful for Brians calm and reassuring instructions, as well as the expert attention of all he employs at Genesis.

Had our 2009 Itasca Sunova serviced recently. It had been in storage for 18 months so there were several issues that needed to be addressed. These guys did a great job and were able to fix/check all issues we requested. I really like the breakdown of each service on the receipt. Very easy to read and understand. They examined the problem in our rig, charged $95, then said they couldnt fix it. They took eight days to reach this conclusion and we only learned the results by calling them multiple times -- they didnt reach out to us even once. Basically, a waste of time and money for us.UPDATE (3/24/2021). In response to Brians invitation I called to discuss the customer service issues that we experienced. He conducted a detailed review of the situation, and he seemed very sincere about wanting to do what is needed to prevent a recurrence of the communication issues. He also provided some helpful information about the design of our van and the piece of equipment that failed. Genesis obtained this information shortly after we retrieved the van. Overall, Brians follow-up was quite thorough.

First of all I have been in a class A motor home for over 3 years now and have traveled from Tennessee and all states in the West. I have NEVER found an RV Repair Service as good at Genesis Automotive. I had some issues on my Winnebago Journey that needed to be corrected and the repairs were done quickly, they allowed me to stay on premise while the parts came and the invoice amount for those repairs was extremely fair. I HIGHLY recommend Genesis. They will do a fantastic job for you, and their tech reps are very well trained. Brian and Lisa I will be back on my way South. Thanks again for treating me so well. We had purchased a new to us 2005 Dolphin motorhome with the workhorse motor.We had to get some general maintenance and a few things fixed on this unit.We worked with Chris at Genesis RV. He was very easy and pleasant to speak with on the phone and in person.Time was not critical, however, Genesis RV didnt slack on getting the work needed done on our rig.Chris kept us posted on things done wd found as well as kept us in the loop financially.When it came time to pick up our rig and pay for the work done, the invoice actually came in a little less than expected. That was a very nice surprise.Genesis RV will definetly be our Go-To RV repair and maintenance facility.Oh, and they dont mind working with warranty stuff, either!!!!!! Huge plus! Firstly for those of you reading this they do regular vehicles and not just recreational. It is very difficult to find a team that will treat you as a priority. The discipline and professional courtesy that genisis displays is of the highest quality. The only thing I can say is disappointing is having to bring my rv back to have a minor issue fixed. Despite this hiccup their teams was more than willing to take me back in at my earliest convenience. They are a team that strives to put your priorities first. Overall a fun and pleasant experience. The next time I am in need of service I will come back.

This shop is a shining star in the cess pool of RV repair shops in the south sound. I took my travel trailer here after stopping work at another shop. In 2 weeks the previous shop was only able to accomplish a bearing repack that was of the lowest quality imaginable. I’m not going to get into that. After taking it to Genesis, they were very helpful and thorough. They reinspected and verified previous work on the water heater that I was told didn’t work on propane, they ran it twice and it worked fine. They pulled my furnace, which was my original issue at the previous dealer, and found the sail switch was bad and reinstalled it. Also replaced our propane alarm with a new one that didn’t match the original and made it look like it was installed that way at the factory, probably better. All this work in less time than it was at the other dealer to get a bearing repack. Anyway, I would highly recommend taking your RV to Genesis if you want high quality people and work done. They move very quickly, keep you informed at every stage on what is taking place, have great customer service, have technicians that are obviously of high quality, and most of all make a person like myself that is most of the time dissatisfied with work done somewhere other than my driveway actually impressed that there are still shops that take pride in their work an customer service. Thank you for restoring my faith in a job well done.

I’ve been here twice the first time was to have the cables replaced on my pop up camper. They were very personal and communicated with me while my camper was in the shop. 3yrs later I was having the same issue with my camper and saw that one of the cables were installed incorrectly. I called Genesis said they would take a look. I wasn’t sure want to expect since it has been 3yrs even though I’ve hardly used my camper. The issue was one of the cables got crossed and they were grinding and fraying. Jason who has been helping called me and said they would take care of it no cost to me! Jason was very professional and the service and communication was incredible! When I pick up the camper the owner Brian came to check on my experience and even texted days later to make sure everything was working well.I definitely recommend this company! No one is perfect but the people at Genesis are professional, honest and take care Of their customers!

Genesis did what other shops failed to do. I had taken my vehicle to two other shops in the local area trying to resolve a parasitic draw in my electrical system. All I got was a bill and no resolution for the time they spent trying to find the problem. Genesis got the problem identified and resolved at a reasonable cost. I am very satisfied with their workmanship and professionalism.

I had trouble finding someone who would work on our older motor home, and was delighted to find Genesis. Chris and Brian were both very courteous and helpful and kept me apprised of what they found wrong, what they recommended, and cost estimates. (The final cost was slightly less than they had estimated.) They also didnt try to pressure me into doing more work than the 3 issues I had asked them to fix. When my husband had a medical emergency when I was supposed to pick up the RV, they kept it locked up until I could pick it up, without adding storage fees. I will definitely take any future work to them.

Genesis team was very helpful with my insurance claim. They worked directly with insurance company, were super fast to evaluate my trailer and provide repair estimate. Jason kept me in the loop the entire time, answered my questions and handled entire claim. When I get new trailer I will be back and refer family and friends. Everyone very friendly and helpful!

I was having issues on my class c motorhome and my HWH leveling system not working like it was designed. Also my house batteries not holding a charge. Took my motorhome in on 9/29/2020 and due to waiting on parts got it back on 11/19/20.I was impressed by the customer service when I call and when I took my unit in. When ever I called or emailed to give or get info I was answered promptly, great customer service.One other note, I was able to just leave my motorhome at the shop when waiting for parts to come in.All my issues were fixed and I am satisfied with the work.I recommend Genisis Automotive & RV.Jerry

We would like to thank Chris & his team for their perseverance in fixing a leak in our motorhome. We had a leak in our slide out that was difficult to pinpoint and we had to bring it in 3 different times for work. Sadly it still leaked after the 1st two attempts and we were still paranoid of rain after the 3rd (although we really appreciated that we werent charged for the 2nd or 3rd visits).Well it got put to the test last night in maybe the hardest rain & wind weve ever experienced while camping. Were happy to report everything was dry this morning & well sleep much better thru tonights storm.Thanks again, we appreciate you guys.

Customer beware. I should have been on alert when Chris gave me an estimate before even looking at my RV. I assumed it was a cautious high end worst case estimate, not a base line from which to add on extras.I think they figured Id never return anyway as they knew I was from out of state and needed to leave in a few days. Aside from a 30% increase from the estimate, which they said if it were to exceed the estimate they would call. They didnt.I received my RV with the interior carpet filled with shop floor grease, rugs and bedding topper too. I brought it back and they tried to clean it with strong solvents that didnt work which delayed my trip by 2 days to have it air out.They jerry rigged the generator muffler hangers with non-OEM products that fell off ($112.85) within a couple hundred miles resulting in a loss of a $169 tail pipe along the highway. Also my bumper fell half off in the same timeframe. I asked for security tapes and intake photos of the rear passenger corner as someone had ripped the bumper off and just set it back on, the brackets were bent. I asked them to ask the service guy who did the grease job on my interior if he had an incident that pulled it off. No comment on that, no security footage, no intake photos of that area of the vehicle. But good photos of the other intake areas.Not saying they did it but... Insurance took care of it.The air spring bladders in the rear were filled with air for $112.85, which when I do it, it a 5 minute job of a puff of air. I wrongly assumed it would be a courtesy to do it given its simplicity.There are other issues but this story should be enough. Would I go back? No.Update: Genesis charged me about $60 in the effort to rotate my tires. They told me every wheel had one lug nut that would not open up so they could not rotate them. I asked them why did you continue on after the first one would not open, since you couldn’t rotate after that? No real comment except they wanted to try them all.Just had them all rotation here in Minnesota with no problem whatsoever.Hum....Update; just had my tires rotated and asked was there any problem, no problem whatsoever. Thus ? On each wheel having a tight lug nut that could not come loose at Genesis and being charged 60 some dollars for the non effort... did I mention I would give no stars if I could, but one is the least I would say -1 .Whoa...

I took my trailer in to get some work done they were very friendly and helpful. They got it finished in timely fashion. I did have to bring it back for some follow up work but they got in done quickly. I highly recommend them to anyone who has an RV.Rick Demere

I called again by accident and he said and I quote WE STILL DONT HAVE A PARTS DEPARTMENT I said Im sorry did I already call he said YES 3 TIMES and hung up. I checked it was twice! It as an accident and he yelled and hung up! Never use if this company and will be telling all our RV owning friends not to.

Bought my first Diesel Pusher in March of 2018. (1999 American Dream) Read reviews and took to Genesis RV to have a pressure test done to expose any potential leak areas and have them fixed. Also needed the generator looked at. We had some communication issues in the beginning but were able to work past them. Chris V was great to work with and was all about making his customer (my wife and I) comfortable and happy with the work performed.Jump forward to May 2018 to I realized I needed a headlight adjustment after changing a burnt out bulb. (Youd think I would have thought about that when I took it in the first time) Contacted the Genesis team and explained my situation and an upcoming trip within 4 days. Chris placed me on hold and when came back to the phone again he asked if I could have it at the shop by 9 am the next morning and he would see what he could do for me. The Genesis team was able to squeeze us in and had us back on the road within the hour after arriving. I am a satisfied customer who will be returning in the future. Save yourself some time and frustrations and try these guys. You wont be disappointed

The molding around the exterior of the slideout and interior molding were comining loose on my 2017 Winnebago View. They fixed the trim and realigned the slideout for a resonable price and very fast. I will use them if I need any repairs done on my RV.

These people are awesome and VERY HONEST. I Broke down in my 40 Beaver Patriot and on the suggestion of my tow truck driver was told to take my Rig to Genesis.I thought it was a transmission problem and a lot worse than it was. I didnt tell them about other issues I was having (unrelated) because I wanted to see if they would find them or even cared too.To my surprise they found every problem I knew about and a couple more... They fixed everything in very quick time and got me back on the road.My main problem was an alternator and the price was very fair. I have my Motor home back now and running better than it has ever ran before.These guys are not only Fantastic at what they do but Fair and Honest.I will NEVER take my rig to anyone else. I was in the process of relocating to Arizona and because I was in a hurry I purchased a motorhome from a private party. It made it all of about 60 miles from the old owners place before it broke. In a big way. Genesis Automotive and RV repair to the rescue! Because I purchased what turned out to be a basket case, the repairs were anything but simple. They were able to locate hard to find parts and they communicated with me all along the way. Their work is top notch and their customer service is outstanding. Brian, the owner, even followed up with me afterwards to make sure my coach made it to Arizona safely. If you are looking for a great shop look no further. I am a new RV owner and had many questions regarding my 5th wheel. Chris and Craig did a thorough job going over my RV while doing needed repairs. Craig is very knowledgeable and showed me how to operate my antenna, tv and refrigerator.

Our travel trailer had some significant plumbing issues. Genesis was able to quickly schedule an intake appointment. The plumbing issue was resolved promptly, along with a review and repack of the wheel bearings and brake review and testing. Genesis communicated regularly (thanks, Chris!) and kept me current on the status during the process. This was a clean, professional experience from start to finish. I would recommend Genesis to any RVer.

I reached out to Genesis for a pre-purchase travel trailer inspection. Two other businesses could not fit me in for 3-4 weeks. Jason fit me in the next day. He even let me drop my trailer off the afternoon before because it worked better for my schedule. When I arrived Jason and his tech met me in the parking lot. We had an honest discussion about the condition of the trailer which gave me the information I needed to decide against purchasing the trailer. When I do find a trailer Genesis will be at the top of my list.

What a great service for RV owners. I called my RV dealer and there is a four month wait, in addition, once you drop it off they can keep it up to six six weeks in order to complete a minor job. I took mine to Genesis and had a cup of coffee while they fixed my trailer. I was there a total of two hours. Great service, great job!! Highly Recommend!

So, last Friday, I made an appointment to have my RV winterized with Genesis. They were able to fit me in today, Monday, where I was met with exceptional service. I waited in their comfy waiting room for my rig to be done, which was only an hour. Thats not the best part...as I was packing up my RV to bring it in, the motorized awning was stuck open. The motor had failed! I called to let them know Id be late, but were they able to come out and see if the awning could be retracted. They were there in an hour and a half, dismantled the motor and had it ready for me to go in about 20 minutes. They were courteous and considerate of my rig, left everything as they had found it. Their price was fair for the work I had done. I will definitely use them again for my service from now on.

When you pull into their lot, you see a lot of RVS and I completely forget they work on autos as well. I had bent a fender on my 2017 Trails West 3 horse trailer. They did excellent timely repair with factory brand replacement and wiring. Looks great. Had routine safety checks done as well. Brian was very helpful. He even took me out on a road test to show some tips about trailer braking and how to avoid stressing truck transmission while hauling horses.I would highly recommend Genesis for horse trailer services. Easy access. Avoids having to drive far or mess with I-5 traffic if you are coming from the peninsula side of the Narrows Bridge.

This was an unfortunate experience. Do not take your camper or RV to them unless you are prepared to be severely overcharged. Our 2000 well kept camper went in for a standard RV inspection. We then received a phone call stating they discovered nearly $12,000.00 in repairs. We said no thank you, we will come pick it up. We asked for a bill to pay them for the inspection. We then received a bill for $1300.00. They actually sent an invoice that stated $1131 in labor and the rest was for looking at the wheels. While we’ were shell shocked by the price they proceeded to tell us the hourly rate for them is over $140.00 per hour plus parts. Just to be clear, they did not repair or replace anything.While leaving another customer approached our truck and said he heard our conversation and the same scenario was happening to him but his bill was up to $5,000.00 and he still did not have his RV.I would like to share this is the first time I have ever completed a negative review. I feel it’s important to let others be aware of this companies current practices.

We had Genesis RV do some warranty work on our Rockford Roo. Brain worked through the coordination between the wholesaler and retailer. Apparently that was NOT a straightforward process. There were a couple of minor hitches: a part that they new in advance was needed was not there when I arrived for my appointment. I waited there for over an hour before I was informed and I was rescheduled for the next day. They did work hard to make it right...working around my schedule and transportation needs. When I got my final bill, there was a small fee on it that I honestly hadnt been made aware of in advance. Again, they took care of me and made it right. In all likelihood I will return there in the future.

After being basically refused for replacing the LP tank on my VW Eurovan camper (one dealer shop said “drop it off, could be ready in a week “,another said they only worked on units that they sold) I called Genesis and they immediately set up an appointment, and the job was done less than 36 hours later! I will definitely be back there again!

After learning that my headlight was out, on a dark and rainy night, I was very grateful to be able to get my vehicle in right away to have the bulb replaced. It took less time than was estimated so I left spending about $50 less than I had agreed to. Great work on a difficult project. They replaced the hinges on the two back doors of my horse trailer, also took the time to research which hinge would be best for the weight of the doors. Their name suggest only RV repair, not true, they did an excellent job on my horse trailer. I will use them for all my future needs and will recommend them to all my friends.

Ive been a Genesis customer for about 1 1/2 years now. Ive been happy with their service. Prices have been reasonable if you use their coupons. They have been very friendly and have followed through exactly as they have promised.Being new with RVs Ive been stuck several times trying to figure things out with it. I have continued working with Genesis and they have gone out of their way to satisfy my needs. They have installed a test bench for natural gas generators and have been able to make adjustments which allowed it to start on natural gas. I had extensive repairs done after a tire separation. They worked well with my insurance adjuster with no hassle during the repair process. Great people and a clean office and waiting room. They stand behind their work.

We have taken our older motorhome to Genesis Automotive & RV Repair twice. Each time we came away very pleased. The work was done in the time frame estimated. The staff were always very friendly, answering questions and always gave us reassurance. We will not hesitate to give recommendations for Genesis Automotive for RV repairs and/or maintenance.

I like the guys up there but when I took it in I had a transmission leak and I had the water pump repaired and and then after that I think they should have pressure tested the system but on a 4.5 hour trip I use a gallon of water so I think I have a head gasket leaking from when it got hot maybe and that the pressure test should have showed that up so Im kind of disappointed that its using water also asked him to address the transmission leak and when they went and test drove it after its been there for a while from getting the water pump replaced I believe they didnt fill the transmission fluid up to the level and because of that are operating at the wrong fluid level I think that it blew up or transmission so they put a new one in but they say that they check the level before but when I drove it up there the transmission was working fine and just had a leak. This is just my hypothesis guess is there was no way to know you know they said that they did to put the fluid in before they test drove it but you know I miss my first time dealing with him so you know but they did good work on the transmission being replaced it it runs good now and doesnt leak tranny fluid. Also they did a good job of diagnosing and replacing the control unit for the refrigerator.

Just got my horse trailer back, they had to also have my truck as the truck and trailer brakes werent working together. I paid more than I had hoped to, but Im very happy with the work they did. They didnt do anything without my ok, Brian was awesome. He even showed me how the new brake box inside my truck works. These guys are great!!!

Had to have brakes on RV fixed so no choice in places to take it. In from out of state, trying to finish family trip and get told brakes only take a couple hours, two days later and still waited till closing of business before we could get back on road. Given all excuses and kept getting told working as fast as one guy could....gee add more help.

We cannot say loud enough how outstanding this company is! We wouldn’t consider going anyplace else. They really are very knowledgeable and do amazing work.

Everything seemed to be good just one thing was off not sure why. They recommended for my windshield wipers to be replaced and I denied there service, then when I was driving home I noticed that one of my wipers was not working, when I got home I looked and the wire was disconnected. Just strange maybe that was not intentional but just seemed weird.

I had heard of Genesis rv repair and had planned on taking it in to have a few things checked out on my class A diesel pusher.Just havent taken the time.Had a overheat warning, antifreeze all over the place just a few miles from my house.Needed a tow truck, a big one. Called Genesis, talked to Chris and explained my situation. He was full but said if no other options hell find a spot for us. He was my port in a storm!!!when we showed up at Genesis and met Chris to do the paperwork it was obvious it was this was the right place!!!Our RV was repaired in a timely fashion and was kept in the loop at all times.....We picked up the RV and after I got home noticed something I thought they missed..I called Chris and explained my concern. At no time did he make me feel like that my concern was not valid..brought the RV back in to check out. They fixed the problem. ...Summary. ..They helped me when I needed help..Finished in a timely manner. .Work professional done.Anyone can make a mistake or miss something. Just recently had our motor home worked on and I must say everyone was great to work with and friendly. Called many repair facilities and they said yes when nobody else would. Highly recommend!

They got my motor home in there shop much sooner than the dealership in Auburn where I purchased it New. The slide room problem was diagnosed and defective electric motor was replaced. It was finished when promised in a timely manner. I was very pleased with Genesis RV Repair even though there shop is farther from my home than the dealership. I will use them in the future.

Genesis Automotive and R.V. Repair serviced my Motor Coach in November 2016 and was more than pleased with their service. They basically performed a 12K service on my 425 Cummings engine as well as a completely safety check through the coach. In addition I was having difficulty programming my auto gen start on my Onan diesel generator which they were able to fix and program for me. I worked with Chris and was very satisfied with his knowledge and keeping me informed. The service was done on time and to what they projected the cost would be. In addition to the service, I had some body damage to my coach. My motor home has full body paint and has three different shades of color. They fixed the damage and the paint was a perfect match. No doubt I have found a great company to service my motor home and keep it running in tip top shape for years to come.

I am 100% satisfied with the service I recieved at Genesis. They had an appointment for me within 2 weeks of calling. They switched out our damaged gfci outlet, and it only took 2 hours of my day. Now all of the outlets are working. They even arranged for payment with our protective plan. Very good experience.
