I had purchased a Best branded island cooktop vent hood from Albert Lee appliances 3 years ago and upon attempting installation I discovered my kitchen ceiling had a wall division directly above the near center line of where the square tube needs to install. After a couple of installers telling me the ceiling stud division would not allow a proper install, I contacted Thompson Appliance Services. Carl and Jose came and closely inspected my installation and came up with the solution to this tricky install. On May 27. 2021. Carl and Jose installed perfectly and beautifully my island vent hood in the exact position making it look awesome and for a great PRICE! My highest compliments and service satisfaction ratings to both of them for completing the finishing touch to my kitchen Paul D Gibson πŸ˜€

Thompson Appliance did the delivery, replacement and installation of a new KitchenAid dishwasher. The Service Tech D.J., did a fast, very professional installation, left the kitchen area clean and hauled away the old unit. This is the third time I have used this company and highly I recommend them for any appliance install.

I tried calling multiple times over the course of two days and sent an e-mail. No one ever picked up the phone. Instead, it goes to an automated message that says, Press 0 to leave a voice message. When you press 0, you get a very weird message that has what sounds like a long fax beep at the end. I could not leave a voice message.I also tried sending an e-mail, but received an automated e-mail reply telling me to e-mail somewhere else. Too hard to try and get ahold of someone. Ill go elsewhere.

Carl and his assistant, Jose, installed a downdraft dual fuel range for us. They were extremely efficient and explained everything as they did it. Very professional and helpful. They didn’t charge for some modifications we had expected we might need but didn’t have to make. Highly recommend.

I bought a new Fisher Paykel gas cooktop at Albert Lee Appliance in Tacoma. They gave me the number for Thompson Appliance to do the install. They sent over two young guys, about 30, who were literally at my house for 10 min. They were supposed to fully install and get it working. They simply put down two boards, 1 x 1 strips of wood, uinder the cooktop. It was not attached to these small strips, just sitting on them,. There was a box of parts, which said, Regulator - will need for cooktop written o n top of the box. The box was still sitting there with the parts in them. The cooktop was not installed, was not working . They charged me $148 that day.I called their office that same afternoon. Now the song and dance begins, with their excuses. I offered to send over pictures, showing that the cooktop was not installed, She said, the owner would have to see the pictures,..... that he didnt have a way to see them at his house. (What? He doesnt have internet at his house?) There were other excuses.She said he would call me in a week. He did not. This went on for another Four weeks, no response from Thompson Appliance about this.At this point, I called Stellar Appliance, and they were great. They charged the same amount: 150. But he was working on this for 90 minutes - not 10 min, like the two Thompson Guys. He said the cooktop would Never have worked without those regulator parts. He showed me that nothing at all was installed on this cooktop, and that Thompson Appliance charged me for doing nothing.I wrote a letter to Thompson Appliance, and asked for a refund of what they charged me, $148, since their guys did not do the installation. I took it to their office, physically handing it to them. I explained --- again --that someone else had to do the install and they need to refund the $148.At this point, the owner finally called me back, and said, he would see what he could do about that . Never heard from them again.Do NOT use this appliance company . MIne is not the only negative review. Also, i would not use Albert Lee Appliance company because they continue to recommend this company, which clearly they are not professional, and not customer oriented.

Miele corporation picked Thompson Appliance to replace my fridge which was under warranty. Kennady from their office called me a few weeks before the order for shelter in place to discuss the process. Multiple times I had to change the schedule for a variety of reasons. Every time she was very accommodating and helpful.Yesterday finally the work was completed. Nic and Ian their installers showed up on time and did a fantastic job. There is a slight bow in my cabinet and Nic took the time to make sure the fridge was installed perfectly. You can tell they take pride in their work.One of the best experiences I have had with a company from the beginning to the end.Thank you Kennady, Nic and Ian

Travis and Tyler were professional, patient with our questions and did a fabulous job. They installed a free-standing range into our an area that held a drop in range. It required 3 hours of work. We are very pleased with their craftsmanship and their work ethic.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.They used my credit card without authorization to charge on my VISA nearly $1,100 in services that were disputed. They used my credit card information that they kept on file from a previous job. The card information should have been discarded, but instead they used it without my permission. Coincidentally, I notice another person has posted the same thing happening to them.Their work was also inflated in price. A job that was to cost $350 was billed to me at $1,100.

We called them to fix our 15 month old GE dishwasher. The technician came out nd determined that one of the circuit boards was bad. A couple weeks later he came back with the part, installed it and the dishwasher still did not work. The technician said he was not sure what was wrong and left. We had to call the office and ask them what the plan was. They said they had to speak with the technician and would call us back the next day. A week went by and no call, so we called them. This is now during the Christmas vacation time and they said they had not had the time to speak with the technician and that he was on vacation until the start of the new year, she said she (the office manager)was making a note to call us on January 2nd before noon to get this issue resolved. They did not call as they said they would so we called on January 3rd. So as not to make this review to long I will summarize what happened. The office manager was will to discount the electronic part they installed because it did not work and she was going to discount the service call, but she would have to talk with the owner. After speaking with the owner she came back and said she could not discount the part and was going to full charge us for the service call. Her reasoning (that she got from the owner) was that the dishwasher was properly diagnosed, and the fact that the electronic part they installed did not work is not their fault. She said they would order another electronic board for the dishwasher that they believed would fix the issue but they would not guarantee it, and we would also be responsible for that part if it did not fix the problem. I let them know that I was quite unhappy with this entire experience and told them we no longer needed their services. Bottom line is we more than two months in dealing with this broken dishwasher (through the holidays), we are out $200 and Still have a broken dishwasher. We debated at the beginning on just buying a new dishwasher, as dealing with the appliance repair businesses can be quite expensive and leave you with a bad experience. If you have to repair your appliances don’t choose these guys.

Please DO NOT USE Thompson Appliance. This was my experience.1. DO NOT GIVE THE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER. They made unauthorized withdraw from my account. I had to make a claim with Wells Fargo and Visa to collect.2. They installed a faulty part they provided and then charged me for the installation of their faulty part!3. 8 times I was told I would be called back - only 2 times did they in fact call me. Each time I called back I was put on hold for 10 minutes each time.4. The technician sent was not qualified. He did not know how to do a simple reprogram on my refrigerator.I’ll stop here. This company is atrocious! Go elsewhere.

I contracted with them to have a gas cooktop and wall oven installed. They quoted me a price. When they showed up for the job they installed the cooktop, but not the oven. They said they couldnt install the oven because of a cabinet size issue. They billed me for more than the original quote, even though the oven was never installed. I had another installer come out and all that was needed was a different fitting on the cooktop to allow the oven to be installed. I cannot recommend this company.

Had an over the phone trouble shooting session with Bruce, who was amazing, clear, precise. Resulted in a working fridge and I was only out $1.98 for a pack of wire nuts. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and professional.
