Purchased sectional with delivery service. When furniture arrived today the company does not set up nor do they take any of the trash from packaging with them (wasn’t told this when I purchased the service).Apparently this is their business practice. Just know if you pay for delivery that you need someone there with you that is capable of helping you discard all packaging, assembling furniture, and placing it where you’d like.
This place has great pricing if you dont mind dings and dangs on appliances. They do not deliver and do not install. But if you dont mind imperfection its an ideal place. They also have beds and furniture which was priced reasonably. Just bro g your own truck for delivery.

Drove two hours for a dishwasher which online ad read like new. We get to the store to find the dishwasher all scratched up and with significant cosmetic damage. We ask a salesperson if thats the one advertised and he confirmed it was. I said, then you are liars. Your ad read like new,. He appeared indifferent, we are a scratch and dent store. Jack wagons! Dont advertise something like new and not be like new. Ugh! Wasted afternoon, we wont be back.
I was helped with carrying my fridge out to my car by a young man named Grendon. He has by far been the best mover I’ve ever dealt with and he was only helping to my car. Friendly and accommodating.
This company has been one of the most difficult and frustrating to work with. I purchased a fridge and oven, I was told the fridge was on back order but they had the oven at another location so theyd call me with delivery info. Two weeks go by, no call. I call them and am told theyd call me back. Next day, still no call. I call again and am told when delivery will be, at that point I finally got a time frame and date. The day of delivery they sent an update on when they will be out... Which was in 4 minutes from the text leaving me only 4 minutes to take everything out of the fridge and freezer. They delivered the wrong color stove and also didnt tell me when I bought it that it didnt come with a cord. So they attached my old cord to the new (wrong) stove. I have called the store several times trying to figure out a solution. Options were get a refund and have them pick up the wrong stove or just use it until they eventually get the one I bought (no time frame given). This is ridiculous and I am still confused on why something was sold to me they they dont even have. The only reason Im giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because I at least have a working stove to use. Ill never be using this company again thats for sure.
Ordered on line a loveseat and paid extra for next day delivery. After nobody showed up the next day, called the store. Found out their drivers quit and nobody to deliver furniture, volunteered to come to the store to pick up loveseat, next they tell me the item was out of stock. No loveseats available. Why would they advertise furniture on line, (with caption of same day delivery), when they cannot deliver to customers. Big Scam. I had to find out by calling them, nobody called us. Unbelievable this goes on......

Went in looking for a dishwasher and found one quickly. Same one we looked at somewhere else but was going to take a month to get. We walked out with the dishwasher and saved $100 compared to the other company. Grendon helped us and was quick to answer questions and assist. Definitely will be back!

The guy that waited on me was super helpful without hovering. He knew I was looking for a dryer that was a little less expensive than the one I liked the most, so he showed me one that was same brand, without the fancy door, and half the price.
Delivery takes a decade and they don’t really have any say over their inventory. After my couch was delivered, i noticed there was a tear already. Overall, you get what you pay for and you may have better luck going elsewhere.

We bought a *brand new* Frigidaire fridge on a Sunday afternoon from American Freight. The motor ran but it wasnt cooling anything, so we called a Frigidaire service technician who came out on Wednesday. He said its leaking Freon gas inside the unit, that its a bad problem, and advised we return it because the store sold us a defective unit. When I called American Freight to inquire, they said I couldnt return it because it was over 24 hours from purchase. (Note: the policy doesnt even make sense, as the fridge itself says allow 24 hours for cooling.) When I asked a clarifying question about whether they provided refunds, the person started slowly enunciating their policy again as if I were hard of hearing. They sold us a defective unit under a bad policy, gave me a rude response to my question, and provided no recourse. So... thats what Google reviews are for? Beware! (I know other places have a 30-day return policy if you want less risk with a larger purchase.)
Worst company ever don’t do business with them are there financing company they stole 1000 bucks from me and won’t give me my money back broke my light fixture never fixed it took a month to bring my fridge these folks should be put out of business

This location has the worst customer service! Upon arrival you have one person who said hello, but the other two workers just sat there. Nobody asked if we needed help or if we needed anything. So my family and I walked out since they don’t need customers.
Didnt see much savings and most of the items where so scratched and dented they were really bad. Couldnt get matching sets for washer/dryer. Not impressed at all! Definitely not sears standard anymore.. The floor salesman Brendan was helpful and friendly.
Update after delivery:They were 15 minutes early, my couch in great shape and were in and out super fast. We had a good experience overall!!John was amazing with answering all of mine and my fiances questions about financing our first grown-up furniture purchase. He was very patient in allowing us time to select our couch, as well as making sure we were very aware of all of the hidden financing fees and interest rates, and tips on how to avoid it. We were very well taken care of by John! All in all for an 88 new, pretty gray very fluffy couch, delivery, taxes and financing fees, about $580!

We purchased a dryer and needless to say, three weeks after we brought it home, we had to call to have it repaired. I spoke with the manager at the store and he said, “before they ship to us, a tech performs maintenance if needed”. However, once they arrive at the outlet in Tacoma, they don’t have a means to check or perform any maintenance. You hope it arrives in decent shape. Ours did not. I will never buy from them again. Lesson learned.

Grendon was very helpful when I purchased a washer/dryer. Even though he was the only one in the store, he checked on me and answered questions in a timely manner.Key and Jeremy also did a great job delivering our washer/dryer unit. They had to go down a steep driveway that was not yet paved and they were courteous and took a lot of care.

I had the most awful experience with this place I have ever had with any business.First off, we ordered our fridge online and paid the $90 for delivery. We received an email stating someone was going to call for delivery. We received no calls or communication. My husband had to call a week later and they said their delivery schedule was booked until the following Thursday so they would call us a couple of hours beforehand to let us know when it would be delivered. If you can guess, we never received a call. I called the store a total of 8 times, then my husband called another 3 times with no answer. I finally got fed up and called the customer service line who the called another 3 times with no answer.When I finally got through, the person who answered (later I found out was the MANAGER!!) was rude and couldn’t tell me anything about our fridge and said if it was on the delivery truck there was nothing he could do.We never got our fridge that day.The next day we find out our fridge was sold another 2x to other people which is why we didn’t get a call.The assistant manager tried to rectify the situation and upgraded our fridge that we currently got. He was polite and apologetic but my husband had to rent a uhaul, pick up the fridge and bring it home after all of this.All of this was unacceptable.( I also came to Google reviews and found the owner Dean? That responded to some of the bad comments and emailed him With no reply)I will never buy from these people again nor recommend it to anyone. Buyer beware! Not worth it.
Stopped in to look at a new dryer. Grandon helped us and we got what we wanted with no stress, with next day delivery. Would definitely recommend, will be going back for a new washer in the future.
Ya wouldnt bother, on 2nd fridge now cause the first wouldnt get down to freezer level and now 2nd one doesnt even get to cooling temp, now they say cant help you gotta call the manufacturer! 1st 2wks 2nd...issue after 3wks.

Cassandra at the Tacoma store was very helpful and was able to help us refund and purchase a working refrigerator from the Tacoma location. The entire crew that was working on 3/23 was very helpful with each other and us in resolving our dilemma and we are so happy with our new and working refrigerator. Yesterday I went in with my kids to look for a mattress. A white girl named hannah completely disregarded every question I had. This place has NO customer service and practically no employees. After asking if she had ANY full mattresses, she disappeared in the back area and never came back out. SHE is the reason I will never buy my appliances or anything else from this store ever again.
I’m very disappointed. I’ve purchased many appliances over the years from Sears Outlet and have always been happy with our purchase. Not this time. We were sold a dish washer that when installed doesn’t work. Now we are out all the money we spent, because it’s out of manufactures warranty and we can’t return the broken appliance we were sold. We will never purchase another thing here. Having had many positive experience in the past I didn’t mind the missing box or owners manual, it’s an outlet store after all, but I mistakenly thought the dishwasher would actually work. Costumer Services only suggestion was to buy a $200 warranty from them to have someone come out to fix it. Nope, already waisted $500 not giving any more money to y’all. Be very cautious what you buy here, we’ve learned our lesson.

No high pressure sales, you can wander around, and they are very helpful and knowledgeable about all of the different appliances they have.We just bought a dishwasher there and they explained why it was there (floor model), and the features of the model versus other models on the floor. They have security in the parking lot, its a very safe area. Dont let that dissuade you from going. Many items are new in box.

Leave your experience.My wife and I bought a washing machine with delivery and removal. Lets not forget the 3 year extended warrenty. $855.00 total spent. That was Saturday, 7/11/20. We were told that we could not get delivery until Thursday, 7/16/20 - 5 days after purchase contract signed and paid in full. Thursday comes and Im living around piles of laundry because this is week three of no washer with five adults and a potty training toddler. I get a call telling me that delivery will be made between 1:00 and 3:00. Call came around 9:30am. Get another call around 10:00 am stating their rental truck had the batteries stolen and delivery will be rescheduled and Ill get a call later on the time. Get next call around 1:00-1:30 saying to expect delivery on 7/20/20. Nine days after sales contract and delivery contract was signed and fully paid for and four days past date of promised paid for delivery. I asked for the manager and he was not there. I informed them of my 20 years in managing domestic and international shipping and receiving and delivery. The battery was a set back for a later timeline on the due date, not for a complete delivery failure for your entire customer base. Commitments Made, Commitments Kept. I was told the manager (John) would be in the next day 7/17/20 at 10:00am if I wanted to speak with him. I said I would because I will not take this bending over. On 7/17/20 at 10:45am I called the store. Took four attempts before I got through to an out of breath young lady. I told her my story and asked to speak to John the Manager. I was told that employees called in and their truck battery was stolen again. So John was busy with customers (selling more items he cant deliver). I was told he could call me back and I left my contact information. Its now 4:40, four hours after I left my contact information. John never called. John, you are a piss poor manager when you cant even return a call. I ran 30 trucks doing local deliveries. I had five trucks get batteries stolen one night. I hade delivery commitments to keep. We were 3 hrs late on them. Not a week. How can you exist doing false promise deliveries. If you would have returned my call instead of blowing me off, we would not be at this point.Owners of American Freight, do you need a District Manager with Fortune 500 Experience who would make sure you had an alternate deliver method in place before blowing off the customers? Contact me. Right now youre failing in customer service relations. How are you prepared to compensate all of us whos delivery agreements you failed to keep?
American fre ight dealt with my problem squarely, they are reimbursing me for the parts and for the lost food. Robert was very kind to explain everything and gave good customer service. We really like the fridge we just needed the door to work properly so it would cool.

We bought two defective dishwashers from this place. They allow a 24 hour no question exchange policy which is nice, but that doesn’t account for the 45+ mins one way of travel time. We’re headed back for our third try.The first washer was a scratch and dent unit. After hooking it up, it had a gushing leak at the bottom of the tub and it leaked from the DOOR HANDLE even.The second washer was dead on arrival. No power to the controls. We had my dad who is a general contractor of 40+ years check our power. This was a new in box model!!!We’ll be contacting the Attorney General should the third unit not function as well. We’ll get the same one as the second washer. I’d like to see if they are running a scam on units that didn’t pass QA. I smell something fishy.I’ll update and change my star rating if the third one works or doesn’t.

Call to talk to manager got hung up on twice because he didnt want to listen to what I had to say. I have proof of all of it because my property is under surveillance.

I went in to buy a refrigerator and this bald kid with a Steeler tattoo came up and asked if I needed help. His name was Grendon or Grunion or something like that. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and when he didnt know the answer to a question, he asked this funny looking dude that I assume was his manager and got me my answer. I walked away with a great deal on a refrigerator. 10/10 would buy again.
Awful! Absolutely dont buy here!!! I bought a new, out of the box refrigerator on 2/9 and Sears Outlet said the first available delivery date was nearly a month away. I asked how theyd store the fridge, would it be safe, and can I be sure it wouldnt be damaged. They promised up and down that the fridge would be fine. Imagine how upset I was today when they tried to deliver a very damaged $2400.00 fridge! And they scratched the fridge I already had trying to move things around. My options? Refund for the fridge Ive been waiting a month for... their response? Crickets...

Weve been to this outlet store for 3 purchases over the last year. The products are great. But our best experience was last night. We had THE best sales rep, Cassandra. She worked with us for TWO & A HALF hours to get us the washer & dryer set we wanted. Never once complained. When all was said and done, her manager wanted her to do another exchange sale, and she mentioned that she was off an hour ago. She never once mentioned this to us! I was shocked! She was polite, friendly, personable, and knowledgeable about all her products in store. We walked out last night with my dream washer/dryer set all thanks to her hard work and diligence. Give this girl a raise! & the next time you shop here, ask for Cassandra!

Heavily damaged appliances that when it went under the Sears name were quite reasonable are now roughly 50-150 dollars less than the same model in pristine condition. Considering the amount of damage I would prefer to buy the perfect one for a pittance more.

The prices at the store are good, but customer service is seriously lacking. Their website is also incorrect; they refused deliver to me even though I was well within the delivery radius listed. If you need something delivered, save yourself the headache and order from Lowe’s. At least their delivery is free.
Jeremy and Kevin did a great job on delivery, going above and beyond for two deliveries. My tenants are super pleased. The salesman did a good job of helping me in the store. I wish that the person who schedules deliveries was more on the ball and hadnt given me a delivery date that they later said was full. My delivery fee was refunded, which is only right, but still my one tenant was without a fridge for a week because of this.
I had to return a washer I had previously bought with Sears Outlet. It just wasnt washing our clothes. Robert was helping us and he did an outstanding job! I walked in not so happy and I left extremely happy about my purchase but most of all because of the best customer service I was provided. Robert went the extra mile to ensure I was taken care of. Im giving this a three star rating because while the in-store customer service was great, the delivery service was not. The team who delivered our refrigerator didnt even take the fridge off the truck before deciding it wasnt going to fit through our house. It just sat there on the ramp and he assumed, based on packaging and wrong measurements listed on the packaging, that it would not fit. We went to the store to replace it for another fridge, only to find out that a majority of the refrigerators, including the one we ordered, would fit through our house. So basically the delivery team just didnt want to make the effort. Not to mention they had a really piss poor attitude, and they didnt even move our old fridge out like they were supposed to, neither did they help us put the fridge together. Mostly because my husband just didnt want them in our house anymore. The in store service was great though. The woman we bought the fridge from was able to work with us, she called the delivery team and told them to deliver the fridge and we still got our fridge. So thumbs up for great customer service. A big raspberry for the delivery service. I highly recommend hiring a new delivery team in order for customers to experience quality service throughout their entire purchase process.
Just got in the Airbnb business and decided to replace some appliances. We were only gonna get a washer dryer set for both houses, but we also ended up getting a new fridge for one, cause we got a killer deal. Definitely recommend checking it out.

The mgr of the store had no answers. Why?With covid rising in wa and especially in tacoma this is a ver bad situation. I was shopping for some new appliances was honestly somewhat lost With the idea of what to look for. As I stood around for a minute a gentleman named Mike came over to help me find what I was look My for. He was extremely patient and answered the questions I had. He went out of his way to give me excellent service and make me feel confident in my choice of purchase. I would recommend him to anybody in the process of appliance shopping because I understand it can be stressful, but he made it a very easy and joyful process.
I was in last week to new washer, and Cassie was so helpful. I highly recommend her, and prefer to only work with her if possible. I was in 6 months ago as well she helped me find exactly what I was looking for in a fridge. Both experiences where great.
