This three story antique mall is a sure fire bet if youve got some serious time to wander and peruse. There are items tucked in just about everywhere, so be sure to give yourself plenty of time to check everything out. There are dividers upstairs at the main check out and masks are required for entry. Hand sanitizer is available. The staff was really friendly, helpful, and quick to point us to areas and items of potential interest.

There was absolutely no need for the rudeness given to me by the women that runs your counter today. Forgive me that I didnt know a shop had moved out of your space.

Great Store! The whole vibe of Tacoma is very much like Portland used to be. Excellently diverse group of antiques stores on antique row. Fantastic architecture, walking. Wonderful place to escape for the weekend. The folks you talk to are so cool. Tacoma is not Seattle, and the tone of this place is just right.

I didnt know what to expect stepping inside of this store. With every step, more of the shop kept unfurling. As I went deeper downstairs, I really felt like I was living one of my crazy dreams...... Youre walking around an old antique store with stuff literally everywhere. A friendly woman waves hello. As you continue though the store, it breaks into smaller rooms. Some of these rooms contain shops. Theres a comic book store thats closed while youre there, but you peep into the windows. You watch a man working on his computer at a model train shop through a window in his ceiling/your floor. You pass a lively barbershop on your right. Theres another room, but its full of antiques. Another room at the end has music playing, but no signs on the outside and no way to really peer in. You keep roaming and go further downstairs...Down a grand staircase into a funky dimly lit hall. Theres a library full of books. All kinds of books. And a small room stuffed with wooden carvings from an old church is nearby. Yep, definitely serious dreamworld territory here. Its strange, overpriced, and I love it.

Sanford & Son has some of the rarest items I have seen. One of them being an ancient Chinese carriage. They also had a mummy when we went in. This place is like a museum and has different rooms for different merchants.

Words just cant explain how amazing this place is. Pictures just dont do it justice. Its huge, plan on spending at least 2 hours there to see everything. The staff and owners are bright and make the experience worth the trip down to Broadway and 9th worth the trip. Very knowledgeable about antiques. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up

Our Non-Profit was recently given two large jewelers cases as a donation to sell. On June 1, at approximately 4:40 p.m., I called this establishment and politely introduced myself and the organization which I represent. I was about to explain why I called when the person who answered rudely interrupted and told me, I dont know who this is, but Im just answering the phone and we dont take advertisements! after which she promptly hung up. I called back and asked to speak to the manager and the person answering the phone identified herself as the manager. It was the same person I spoke to previously and when I explained that I was calling about the cases and that I felt I shouldnt have been treated so rudely, I was told that I shouldnt have called acting like a phone solicitor! She was not only impatient and rude, she continued to insist that her behavior was my fault. She didnt even have the grace to apologize for hanging up! I dont know who owns this store, but the person answering your phone and greeting your customers is the face of your business. Your manager is not only rude, she is unprofessional. Do yourself a favor, buy her a book on business etiquette. She needs it!

This place is one of my favorites to visit. I love it. Some of the most interesting stuff is there. But it would be cool if they did something with the book store though. Most of the books are kind of falling apart and are books most people arent interested in like incomplete encyclopedias. It would be cool if people could donate books and turn it into an honor system library. You could even put stickers and on the borrow friendly ones so you can keep the ones for sale on the shelves. And open up the st helens street door. It would bring in more people and be really cool.

Advertised as 3 stories of antiques. Reality is a bit of a mixed bag. Collection of individual storefronts, many were closed (by appt. only) or for rent. Some interesting pieces, but nearly what we expected based on ads.

I was at Sanford and Sons this afternoon. They have signs posted on the doors that say, “Service Animals only with PROOF”. I mentioned to a staff person that asking people for proof of disability is illegal and federally protected by the ADA. She laughed in my face. These folks are trash and would like you to prove your disability and need for assistance in order to shop - shop elsewhere.
