I would 100% avoid this place. I live in a rougher area in DC and let me tell you I feel way safer there than I did at this gas station. You can just tell by the look of it, but I wanted a quick stop before the highway. Do not do it. Someone approached me while I pumped my gas. He shook my hand and started droning on about some nonsense. If I was a less aware person, and more confrontational, there certainly would have been an issue. An employee at the pump offered no help. This is just to offer some safety to those who may decide to stop here.

Dont compare our gas station to the nuisance outside of it. You choose to come here knowing theres panhandlers out here your fault no one there is people asking for change the pump your gas or washer windows.

Like the other reviewers mentioned, there are people that fill up your gas in exchange for $1 packs of cigars and beers. They became friendly after I “paid the toll”. They all have nicknames- one lady was named Diamond which I thought was interesting.

So many homeless people practically lounging around the pumps, store entrance, and the air tanks. I was there to quickly pump some gas and I was asked for money nearly 5 times by people obviously on drugs.

This is the worst gas station in the city, first of all you cant even get your gas and buy your stuff from there peacefully, there are too many homeless people hanging out and asking people money. Secondly, you cant use your card through their gas pump you gotta wait in long line.

Clean and convenient safe and just a good place to visit.

Was attacked at this location: Long story short, I went to put air in my tires, was met by 3 different people asking for money, went inside get change for air, didnt feel safe since they were all watching, told this to the staff, they said so what, was then verbally attacked by a guy who also spat on my car, and then proceeded to pursue me in his vehicle for the next 5 minutes, I called the staff to tell them, they hung up on me, and have kept the phone off the hook since.This location is next to multiple buildings that house convicted sex offenders as well as being across the street from a food kitchen.Im not kidding, I called both my parents and a bunch of friends after this happened forbidding them from going here out of fear for their safety.Im a fairly assertive individual and was able to handle myself that minimized risk, I would not recommend going here, for any reason, ever.

A pretty busy corner. Staff is friendly and the pumps are maintained well. A good selection of craft beers on tap that you can take home in a growler. Not really a place you want to hang around after dark.

NEVER go to this Sunoco alone, day or night, there is always a bunch of homeless people harrasing you asking for money whilst filling gas.This one in particular came up behind the vehicle where the anyone in the car would not have noticed him and started making conversation, checking out my purse. This was very scary as I started raising my voice to get him to back away.If you are a woman be very careful.

Go at your own risk.. constantly assailed by agressive panhandlers and riffraff . Not sure why the corporate managers dont address the problem . I will not go there again!!!

My wife almost was stabbed for not buying a colored girl something on her foodstamp card.. As well as harassed me in the store while the burly bearded white guy at the cashier watched n let it happen.

An awful convenience store staffed by awful people, in an awful neighborhood with an awful customer base. Worse than the Speedway down the street. Avoid avoid avoid.

They need to monitor the pumps. Been here a dozen times and always been accosted by a homeless looking person. The last one didnt take no for an answer. Its a Scary Place.
