When I learned that the transfer fee is $50, I explained that the Dead Center Range charges only $20 with my license in order to take reasonable fee. But the guy (I dont know his name.) was trying to advise me saying firearm is NOT your grocery item like I am a child. I wanted to see how far your location is and how it looks like so I chose the place to pick up my item. Anyway, to make the long story short, I DO NOT like their entire attitude! I wont go back there again!

It has been years since I’ve owned a weapon, but my wife and I decided that we needed to learn how to properly handle and fire a weapon. Erica sold us a pair of Sig P365 pistols. They are easy to handle, very concealable, and accurate. After firing the weapon for several months, I realized that I wanted a full-size weapon for home defense. Having a positive experience with the P365, I thought that I would like its bigger brother, the P320. The salesman behind the counter suggested that I try a CZ P10F. It was a great choice. Fits better in my hand, comes with two 19-round magazines. It was a great suggestion.The range is clean, well-lit, and well-ventilated. The range officers are informed and helpful.All in all, it’s a great place.

As with most ranges, the average friendliness, helpfulness & knowledge of staff here is well above the average of most other public facing businesses. Johns Creek range has a comfortable leather upholstered lounge area (I havent been in a while so AFAIK, its likely closed for the pandemic). A good selection of accessories & medium selection of firearms their lanes work well & have digital distance indicators. They seem to be partnered with a couple of other ranges (1 in Buford; similar logos & combined ads). Johns Creek is pricier than Buford (up to $18/hour here vs $18 all day w/in & out privileges at Buford; -1⭐). They have ladies (free) day & date night discounts which are good values.

First time there, the team was very receptive and inviting. Great selection, picked up a unicorn they had in stock. Paperwork was quick and easy. Super Professional, Super Clean. The range is awesome, they allow you to shoot Green Tips and Steel. Will be joining as a member. Thank You Guys !!

My favorite range by far! Their knowledgeable, friendly, and patient staff always answer any and all questions. Some of the best selection and prices for firearms and the staff always helps find the best firearm for your needs (and usually not the most expensive option either). I live 5 minutes from a really nice range and still drive 30 minutes to shoot here every time.

This place it TOP NOTCH! Gabe assisted with planning a time for our family to surprise my husband for his birthday and I could not have been happier with our choice of gun range. But in additional to Gabes exceptional customer service, EVERY SINGLE staff member was fantastic - personable, helpful, gracious and welcoming. They even sang Happy Birthday! Went on a Sunday the wait was a bit long, however once we got to our lane, it was clean, nice facility, friendly and helpful staff. I met an extremely nice and helpful guy, later found out his name was Bill, he gave me a 2min tutorial on how I should hold my gun, and some great pointers, he allowed me to practice with his laser gun to hit the target better, along with stance pointers. I will definitely be back.

This review is in response to Amaan and pretty. We apologize you felt targeted or that we were unwilling to serve you. As a minority who works here, I can confirm we are not prejudice and I am aware of the situation. This young man was acting very suspicious. He could not fill out the form by himself, follow simple instructions, and was displaying warning signs that concerned our sales staff. This is not like buying a car, this is a weapon. If we do not feel comfortable selling a firearm to someone we will refuse service at that time. He is more than welcome to come back and reapply or speak to a supervisor, however it was our supervisor who decided to refuse the sale due to the the behavior that was exhibited .

He could tell I was lost looking at the thing, and came over and offered to guide me through the process! He even called me to give me updates on the paperwork! Not a fan of indoor ranges. But this one is top notch.Great friendly service. Range Safety Officer is on top of things, watching shooters, helping those needing advice, and cleaning up brass as needed.

Training w/AaronGreat location, facility and people. Yes they can get very busy at times, but it just simply means they have a good product in high demand. Although growing up around guns I haven’t owned any for quite sometime. I figured it couldn’t hurt to get some training- so I booked in with Aaron on a private session. What a great guy! Passionate and knowledgeable. He took me thru the A to Z of what I needed to know about handling a pistol/firearm and how to get back to the fundamentals. Had a 2-hour lesson with Aaron and it was exceptional. He was very informative, detailed, and thorough in teaching us safety and fundamentals, and helped us feel comfortable in the range. He gave great feedback and made sure we were developing all the right habits in the range. Will absolutely be going back to see him for another lesson. The facility was clean, safe, and secure, and the service was awesome.

Really nice facility. It was great that their was a “Knowledgeable” range safety officer close by at all times. Ralph was helpful, experienced, and easy to talk to. They take safety very seriously. We were checked in and out by Michelle. She was a very friendly young lady. We will be going back soon.

Awesome experience! Me and my wife did a basic pistol course here. We were little nervous at the beginning but instructor was very friendly and was on the point with his teaching. Very detail oriented training. I will go back again for their advanced training in the future.

Very late to post this... Came in on Labor day and received excellent service from Arron. I was purchasing my first AR style rifle and Arron took the time to answer all of my questions and make me comfortable in the process. Well I have to say it was a blessing that i went to Johns Creek Indoor Gun Range. Everyone was great and especially Roy. He was very professional & knowledgeable. He really listens to you as a shooter and recommends the correct firearm. I purchased a Springfield Hellcat and a CZ Scorpion!! WOW awesome guns. Right before I found JCIGR I called another gun store closer to where I lived. They told me they would hold the Hellcat fr me then went I arrived at the store 45 min later. They told me they didnt have any in stock and they even admitted there woman sales girl spoke to me but didnt hold it for me like they said they would. So I called Roy at JCIGR and he had one available and he also had it ready for me when I got to there store. Awesome customer service and really clean and efficient gun store & range!!! So me and my wife scheduled a 2 hours private class with Aaron and it was worth every minute of it,first hour he taught us about gun safety and golden rules when using a gun and the second hour we did some awesome drills at the range,highly recommend to anyone who is a newbie ar advanced,needless to say Johns creek range is our to go place,clean,staff is friendly and always answer all my dumb questions....once again Aaron is the dude!

Ive been six times now, and the experience has been consistently great. The staff is friendly, professional, and helpful. Most importantly (to me, anyway) is the fact that every RSO Ive met has been polite and respectful without sacrificing professionalism or effectiveness. Ive been to many ranges, and the RSOs are usually the reason I never go again. Not so with Johns Creek Indoor Gun Range. Ill be returning many more times in the future.

First of all let me say I had the best experience one could ever ask for. Customer service was exceptional with their products. I give 2 thumbs up for associate knowledge and extremely patient employees. I want to sincerely thank Aaron for all of his help today on my purchase. Best gun range Ive ever been to! Staff is super friendly and they have 15 lanes. Theres like 1 to 2 range officers all the time for safety or help. Plus its one flat rate to shoot not hourly like most other ranges. Also have a great variety of firearms and accessories. Very clean and the sound proof is superb!

I just bought my first gun here (Ruger SR9-C). Its a great looking Gun and handles exceptionally!! The staff was terrific and I felt comfortable and confident due to their extensive knowledge. Prices arent bad and they have a large selection to choose from. Wont be my last time shooting or buying from here :D

13 minutes was the time anyone acknowledge me from this establishment. Not sure why, there were a few representatives not doing anything, one talking amongst themselves, the other having a personal conversation with a customer/friend and one person texting away on his cell phone. Outstanding customer service failed on that day, the opportunity to help and provide excellent service failed. I plan to go back sometime soon to give it another shot. Hopefully someone at the shop will be on point.Eventually I had to get someones attention, and I was trying pretty hard. At least acknowledge the customer, me, and let me know youll be right with me. I would of happily waited but nonetheless the person that assistance me seem to be in a rush...so I just left.

I have been here to shoot twice so far. First time was on a Saturday. I was there before they opened and there were already people waiting. This is to be expected. In these times, there are more people buying guns and it gets busy on a weekend. I have about 4 people ahead of me and even with the time it took to sign the waiver I was on the line in about 20 minutes. I bought a firearm online and used them as the FFL. It was ready on a Friday. They called me about 2 hours after Fedex said it was delivered. It took about a half hour to fill out the form and get my new gun. I cannot complain about that level of service. Then I went again yesterday which was a Monday afternoon around 4pm. While there were other customers, it was lighter than the weekend. I got on the line in about 5 minutes. There are different personalities there and not everyone is happy go lucky. Some guys there are pretty matter of fact rather then smiley faces. But no one is rude and everyone seems to be attentive even when busy. I have called a couple of times with questions. When they are busy the person on the phone will sound rushed. I cannot blame them for that as the customers in front of them should take priority. There is a new gentleman there that is new, dont know his name, who has been very friendly and helpful. The lanes are clean, seem to have really good ventilation, and I have been pretty happy so far.

Ive had two orders ship to this store. The first went seamlessly and there were no issues. My second order for a Mossberg 590A1 Tactical is where the problems began. My order delivered according to FedEx, I waited a few days to get a call my order was ready for pick up (knowing they are backed up with the increase in firearm purchases lately) so I figured it would be more than their usual 24 hour window to check in a firearm. The following weekend my wife and I decided to go by and just make sure they had my firearm since we had now been going on day 4 with no call. They couldnt find my firearm. They told me they would talk to their FedEx driver on Monday. I followed up Monday and they proceeded to tell me they checked my firearm into their inventory and sold it to someone else.... I honestly thought I was being punked. They gave me 3 options, pay me cash for my invoice, take store credit or wait for my exact gun to come in that they say is on order and Id get first pick. As of today I will admit they held to their word and called me when the first 590A1 came in. Almost a month later but they honored their word none the less.

Walked in, 40-50 people including employees, not a single one wearing a mask in the middle of a pandemic. Won’t ever go back.

Very clean and professional facility . This was my first time here and I was very impressed, everyone was extremely helpful and made me feel comfortable. Gabriel went above and beyond and made sure I got the perfect gun for me, I ended up with a SIG P320 . After I purchased it he also gave me some shooting tips at the range, couldn’t be happier !

After going a half a dozen times, I really liked the staff and decided to purchase a membership. The range itself is nice they have clean restrooms and they have a wonderful pro shop. I stopped in to check out the store being new to the area. After about 5 minutes browsing, an employee came up asking if I had an appointment. When I said no, I was just checking out the store, he interrupted, saying You need to get out! while pointing at the door. As I tried to explain it was my first time in and just wanted to see the place, He just kept saying I needed to get out as he held the door for me. I will NEVER go back.

Today was the first day that I shot on the range at Johns Creek range, however it is not my 1st time in the store. I have shopped at the store several times, and made several purchases including firearms. The staff including Greg, Remington, and Erica, are extremely polite, courteous, and knowledgeable about the products they sell and the customer service they give. As a former employee of the largest retail gun store in the country, and former firearms seller, your staff welcomed and made me feel comfortable with my purchases did not rush me and provided me all of the information that I needed and asked for. I will definitely continue to do business with Johns Creek indoor gun range and store as I am a firearms enthusiast, collector, and shooter. The inventory that you carry in store is a nice selection, of firearms, knives, accessories, and optics for most firearms, you just need to stock more Kalashnikov stuff!… lol Once again thank you to the staff for making my very 1st shooting experience at your indoor range a welcoming and pleasant experience.

Ambidextrous.. In my opinion the gun sales guys are there to assist you in your selection, not what they think. Sales guy noticed I was left handed then said to me, you should only buy guns that are ambidextrous and talked to me like I was a first time gun owner that knew nothing at all. I said sir I am a gun collector and even showed him picture of my collection, he still pushed ambidextrous guns. Past rude !! Get past that, prices are ok Super clean facility., just get past the staff

I felt that they were over priced. $18 per person is not competitive. We did check in on Facebook, so they lowered the price per shooter to $12. Still high in my opinion. Other ranges I frequent charge full price for first shooter then discount others in same lane. We had 4 shooters on our lane. They charged us for 5 at the “social media” rate, so the discount wasn’t really a discount. Also over charged for eyes/ears. Was charged for 5 people but only 3 needed/used them. I should have looked at final bill closely but I was aggravated so I did not. My mistake. Basically they over charged us $14. I feel that was dishonest. So, if you complain about something look closely after to make sure they do not try and sneak in some extra charges. Would not recommend this range to anyone. To be fair, ammo was priced competitively and the establishment was clean and well thought out.

Nice clean range and I’ve been here several times. Everyone has been nice and friendly. I recently went to purchase ammo and they checked my ID and then scanned it. I did not appreciate that and didn’t appreciate them not explaining that they were going to scan my ID. That’s never happened to me before and it was just unexpected. I felt totally violated.

This place is awesome. Large open and very clean. Great range-NOT cramped and crowded like others in area. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Also very attentive and knowledgeable. Would recommend this place highly-especially first time shooters who may need a little help. You will not have to wait 20 min to talk to someone like other places. Plenty of long ranges so no wait time and shoot all day or leave and come back for same price! Clean up and prep areas are also something that was not overlooked in this place. Great indoor range. The amazing staff members along with the great management here, truly makes this a wonderful establishment to go too. They have plenty of options/choices of firearms, they also sell silencers and accessories for your guns. I have been very impressed after a few visits here in the past three weeks. Polite, knowledgeable, patient attentive staff who dont rush you when looking to buy a pistol. A good range, with a good selection of rental pistols. Today I attended the basic pistol class, it well worth the money and Dan gave a great class that was completely safe, engaging and informative. It was a lot of fun and with the advice given by Dan, made a big improvement to the way I shoot. I will defiantly be going back for the intermediate class in the near future.

Turned down from using the range with my own guns for not being 21, Not clearly listed on their website that this would be an issue, Staff were professional and somewhat apologetic about it. Went to another range that allowed me to use my guns

Johns Creek Gun Range is a credit to the firearms community. Fantastic facility, always clean and seldom any issues with equipment. They are also very accommodating to handicapped shooters. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. I especially like taking advantage of the lunch time range fees.

Shooting here is fun, especially my 10 yr old son is able to fire his AR-15-22. Most shooting range only allow 12 and up. Place is clean, really good staff helpful and approachable. Price wise, Rental guns Fair, Ammo a bit over price. I just wish they have more selections on for sale guns. Other than that i recommend this place to those who love to spend their time target shooting with their son or daughter.

Today i went to the gun range to try out my new sig sauer P238 .380 legion that i purchased at johns creek gun range 2 days ago.I was having trouble racking the slide and firing. one of the employees ( Aaron ) was nice enough to show me, what i was doing wrong.he was very professional and knowledgeable . and i feel the same way aboutMr Remington and everyone else there. I needed to sight in a new rifle and decided to try a new range for the occasion. This is a really nice facility. The staff were pleasant to deal with checking in and out. Two things worthy of mentioning: 1. The area behind the firing line is huge. Plenty of room for groups to do their thing and for users to unpack their gear without disturbing others. 2. Several times I noticed the staff hanging out inside the range observing. I didnt need any help, but was glad they were in there from time to time. Presumably making sure shooters were observing safety rules and that the brass was being swept up. The store area is quite large and not the typical cramped gun store. I brought my own gear, but Im confident that they would have had what I needed for sale if I forgot something. I took advantage of the discount offered for a Facebook check in and bought one target. So I cant remark on their other sales and services. From other reviews, Ill add a couple things. Of course their prices are higher than average. The size and quality of this facility, along with the high rent area its located in, totally justifies the higher range fees and product pricing. First timers: dont be afraid to ask questions. If the staff are busy, chances are youre waiting in line with some obviously more experienced people (brought own gear and probably not looking like a lost puppy). Ask them while you wait. Most firearm enthusiasts are glad to share their knowledge and maybe some advice to help you be ready for the check in and range time when your turn comes up. The unapproachable, scary looking old dudes are probably the best ones to ask ;-)

Great range - a welcome addition to the Johns Creek area. Its modern, clean, tidy, well-ventilated, and the staff knowledgeable & friendly. I have taken a couple of classes there, and both were very professionally run.(It would be good if the 9:00 PM closing could be resumed; on weeknights I often cannot get there in time to put in a decent amount of range time before the new 8:00 PM close.)

If you want the best people,and firearms selec tion go to these guys.Everyone there is very helpful.So far I have purchased 2 firearms from these guys all high end stuff.Gabriel,Remington,and the whole staff are very honest and knowledgeable about firearms.I used to shop somewhere else,this is now my choice for everything.It may be a little difficult of a drive after work but I would gladly wait in traffic to use the range and purchase products.And Kasim Im glad they check people for ammo purchases,I have no problems with someone scanning my license.Remember theyre responsible when the ammo is sold.These days you never know who could use ammo for a violent attack. I am a CCW holder if you are also thats great but remember they as a gunshop are liable if something happened from selling to the wrong person.I am not prejudice towards anyone but like what they did,that shows responsibility.

Great place, friendly staff, excellent facilities. My only hang up was pricing. A little expensive to shoot your own gun here, especially compared to the national forest range near me back in Alabama. Overall, would recommend, but sadly I cant go very often because of the price.

Extremely clean gun range. The staff are very informative and helpful. Ask for Junior, if your trying to buy a handgun for the first time. He will definitely do his best to help you out and make the transaction as smooth as possible. I definitely recommend Johns Creek indoor gun range.

Nice facilities, BUT (and thats a BIG BUT)...Ive been shooting for over 30 years and Im a stickler for range safety. Over the years Ive seen my share of stupidity in handling weapons, but my tolerance for that remains the same... nil. Anyway, I was really happy when this range opened because its very close to where I live, so I was looking forward to many happy hours of target practice. Went there a few times, and the place was virtually empty, which I absolutely loved. However, today was a bit different. I was shooting and minding my own business, when I suddenly realized that there was a group of people right behind me, standing around the table next to the back wall. One of them was showing the rest a semi-automatic pistol. He was making holster removal movements and all kinds of things. I didnt know if that weapon was chambered, or cocked, or if it had a magazine with rounds in it. It was in the closed position, so it was impossible to tell. What I do know, is that you never, ever, handle a weapon unless youre at your shooting spot, and the weapon is pointed downrange. I immediately went outside, and asked the attendant to tell this shooter to stop. He did, so I resumed my shooting. Now, I do know that in certain ranges, this guy wouldve been thrown out immediately, but I guess these people are more tolerant. So, Im shooting away, when all of a sudden, I hear this loud banging sound. Now, mind you, I wear double ear protection, so the banging had to be really loud. I look behind me, and theres that same guy, hitting a loaded rifle magazine against the table. For what purpose, I dont know, but he was going at it with gusto. At that moment I decided that enough was enough, and I went outside, where I spoke with the manager and the attendant that had assisted me earlier. I told the manager about the banging, and she kindly informed me that nothing was happening because he didnt have a weapon with him now. I then proceeded to explain to this person, (who makes a living managing a shooting range), what happens when a sharp object hits a primer, however, she didnt think that was much of an issue. The attendant, in the meantime, was looking at me with a dismissive smirk, which added insult to potentially deathly injury. The end result was that the unsafe shooter had a great time, and the experienced one ran away for dear life. Final verdict, Id rather drive a few more miles to Bulls Eye, and be safe, than going to a range thats closer and running the risk of not coming back home alive.
