Another one of those I hope you have some car knowledge and get a 2nd opinion shops....Told me 120 over the phone to install a part and when I was ready to pickup, it was 208.Then told me I needed an alternator but in actuality I needed a WIRE.

I came in a few days ago, because I had to get my emissions done asap, but the engine light was on. I was seen immediately and everything was explained thoroughly plus all my questions answered politely. The car was fixed the same day for a very reasonable price. I called the Range Rover dealership prior and they wanted to charge me the same amount for just examining the car, without even doing any repair on it so far. I can just recommend this great business to everybody, since it did awesome work on my vehicle with great customer service.

My visit to Suwanee Auto Repair was a total disaster. Their $10 bulb replacement turned into an expense of over $1,000.00 due to the brake light cards they destroyed on my vehicle with their $10 bulb replacement. I would highly recommend you stay clear of Suwanee Auto Repair. They are totally incompetent. Your car will leave much worse off than when you brought it in. And on top of that they are rip off artists. I have had more than one instance when they told me one price and then when the bill arrived, I add multiple additional charges that were not previously disclosed, sometimes doubling their original estimate. Dont allow Suwanee Auto Repair to touch your vehicle. You will regret it like I am right now.

After realizing my daughter was not working on a particular day, I called SAR one morning at around 10:30 am to see if they could do a valve adjustment on my 2006 Honda Civic and have the car back to me on the same day. I really thought it was too late for that to happen, but I was told Sure, bring it on up!. They completed the valve replacement when promised and at the promised price with no additional unexpected fees. They were a better price than all of the other garages I called by far! The Honda dealer wanted 300x as much sighting it was a 3 hour job! Really Honda? Thanks SAR for always be a trustworthy place to have my repairs completed!

I needed a quick Oil change, they were able to take me in almost immediately without an appointment. The waiting Area is really clean, good air Freshener. They have bottled water, Tea and Coffee.They printed the Vehicle recalls for me.Not an intimating experience. Definitely a place to visit and avoid the awful waits at other repair shops.Excellent Customer service.

I have been here several times. They are always honest and offer different solutions based on the age of my older vehicle. They take great care of my new cars too. Quick oil changes, brakes when you need them. They saved me a ton of money when one place said my transmission was bad and really I only needed a tune up!

Very disappointed. We have been taking my car here for sometime. Exactly a year ago, we took it in for a message which occurred periodically on the dashboard and we were told there was nothing to worry about. Three visits later with the same complaint and an additional one, the car is being repaired for, according to them, multiple issues all of which are severe. We cant help but wonder what would have been the outcome if they had not misdiagnosed the issue the first time. They have had the car for over a week now and the most recent issue is a leaking radiator which was NOT leaking when the car was taken in. It is still a mystery how that happened. Word of caution, framed certificates on the wall do not equal competence. We still dont have my car back at the writing of this review. They offered to pay for a rental car which we have to put on our credit card and wait to be reimbursed by them - NO THANK YOU - especially after they had the nerve to say that they offered it from the very beginning - read between the lines here. Did they know over a week ago that they were not going to have the car repaired?They only offered it after royally screwing up after a week and us voicing our displeasure! If you want to delight your customers, do not inconvenience them anymore than you already have, provide the car at their door. Furthermore, what guarantee do we have that they will reimburse us? They havent given us a reason to trust them. We can only hope that when we get the car back, they havent turned it into a lemon. We will not be going back. Next move, Better Business Bureau.

Do not take your car here for repairs!!! I personally called in explained to Rick the problems with my vehicle. I stated I did not want to pay a diagnostic test because I was not sure I would keep my car. I told him exactly what I thought was wrong with the vehicle (needing a transfer case). I also explained that I had called around to other repair shops and the lowest was $80.00 for a diagnostic test.Rick stated he would not charge me for a diagnostic test. He stated they usually charge $90.00 a hour to do one. However, if it takes less than a hour to find the problem, there will be no charge. He stated, if it takes longer than a hour, he would have to charge. He repeated, he can call me immediately if it going to take longer than a hour. Therefore, I would come and pick up my vehicle up With NO Charge.I dropped my vehicle off. Less than thirty minutes later the owner calls. The owner stated we had to pay $90.00 for a diagnostic test. I talked with Rick and stated back to him what he promised no charge if less than a hour. Long story short, Rick lied and he did the bait and switch. I ended up paying for a diagnostic test just to get my vehicle back. Do not take your car to a place where you can not trust the business. I came to talk to John the owner in person, and he would not talk to me. This is very poor customer service, and lying to get business is unacceptable!!! If you are going to charge a fee do not say you will do it for free!

These guys were great! Did a great job on restoring our bumper some how looks better than when we bought it. They also washed and cleaned our car. The receptionist was super friendly and happy, did not expect that but it was a good surprise.

First, I was hesitant to find an auto repair shop other than my longtime place in Roswell, Ga, but after extensive calling around I decided to take my truck to Suwanee Auto Repair. The prices were extremely reasonable and the person answering the phone immediately knew what was appropriate for my make and model of car. They completed the work on time and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I recommend them completely and its great to finally find an auto shop that truly believes the customer comes first.

Had an unacceptable experience with Suwanee Auto Repair. Took my Jeep there with an issue and had it “fixed”. Soon after, more and more issues with the Jeep start occurring, only after my relationship with Suwanee Auto started. Eventually, an issue with my oil pressure which costed me a little over $300 was misdiagnosed and not fixed like it was supposed to be. I brought this up with the owner, Rick, and he said “you needto crawl before you can run” as an excuse for the misdiagnosis of the issue, as he refused to refund or fix the error. I paid tofix an issue that wasn’t even an issue. After things like this kept going on, I eventuallytook my Jeep to another Auto place and paid for a diagnosis, and everything that was wrong with my Jeep was what Suwanee Auto “fixed”. I paid them to fix Suwanee Auto’s many screw up’s and have never had another issue with my Jeep again.

I love this place.I blew an engine on my 1998 Mecury Sable and Brent and John helped me to locate a used for a reasonable price.When six months later I lost that car in accident, the guys inspected several prospects before settling on a reliable high mileage car,They always provide honest work and the best prices I have ever seen in a garage.

I have known Brent and John for years, and they have serviced all of my cars (domestic, Japanese, and German). Brent and John are honest and helpful if you need to make value judgments about repairs. Their work has included engine rebuilds, clutches, water pumps, tires, A/C, rear ends, suspension, windows, door locks... you name it, and theyve never charged me to evaluate a problem. I have always been pleased with the work and treated fairly. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Suwanee area.

John, the owner, helped me fixing our broken side door on 2000 Sienna. It was close to closing time. When I called around, no one would help us because it was around 6pm, they would not even to look at it. John was welcoming when I called. He said, Sure, bring it in then, after taking one look at it when we got there, he fixed the door we were wrestling over an hour within 5 seconds at no charge!! The kindness warmed me and my boyfriend and he says he will give any kind of advice for free for DIY car carers if we want to fix the door in an inexpensive way. I had a great experience with John and recommend this shop to any one who looks for decent service for their rides.

I was able to make an appointment online, drop my car off, and pick it up in the same day. The shop is amazingly clean, the technicians are nice and knowledgeable. They replaced my valve cover gasket at a very reasonable price. I will be giving them all of my automotive business from now on.

Had a new engine put into my Ford Expedition by them a couple years ago and it came with a 3 year warranty. The first 2 engines did not last long enough before I experienced the same problem as the original (it was the knocking noise). The 3rd one was put in a few months ago and doing great so far. It was great of Suwanee auto repair to back their work. John, the owner contacted the engine supplier and got me another engine (the 3rd one) in order to ensure that the right engine with no problem was installed in my car before the 3 year warranty runs out. Recently, I got my front rotors and pads done by them to resolve the squeaky pads from NTB. Suwanee Auto Repair is the best car repair shop I have been to and the only one will trust with all our vehicles.

Best repair shop in suwanee

I have been doing business with John for quite some time until recently when I had an issue with my Nissan Murano which had a problem starting. John took a look and told us that the cam sensors needed to be replaced. Quoted us $500 to get it replaced. Thinking I could get the same work done elsewhere at a cheaper cost, I took the car to another mechanic who told me that actually the motor needed to be replaced because the piston rings were warped. This caused oil to leak into the catalytic converter which in turn generated a lot of smoke when starting the car. Thinking this was a mistake, I took the car to another mechanic for a second opinion. Same result. Engine will need to be replaced.My frustration stems from the fact we have been taking our car to John for repair - and even reported issues with the catalytic converter - only to have John apply band-aids on the problem which eventually became worse to the point I had to replace the car. If I had known the extent of the problems before it became too serious to repair, I would not have been in a position to purchase a new car when this one was already paid for.Prior to this event I also took a Volvo which my parents own. I had a check engine light that needed to be addressed. I also asked John to review the entire car and provide me with his opinion on what else would be needed to make the car safe. Needless to say after spending $1000 for repairs, my check engine light came back on. When I called John for his advice, he told me the problem could be something else and I would need to bring it in for review - while mentioning there would be additional costs incurred!?! Why was this not identified while the car was already in the shop?Needless to say my wife and I are sorely disappointed with our experience. I would not recommend Suwanee Auto Repair as it seems they are more interested in masking the problem to generate more revenue through repeated visits as opposed to addressing the root cause of the issue.Johns labor rates are far from cheap. Please shop around for another mechanic - this is my recommendation to everyone.I will most certainly file a complain with the Better Business Bureau!

The owner lied saying I did not tell him up front what I wanted to pay for getting my car repaired and fixed my car anyway at the extremely high price that he quoted. He then said it was already discounted which is not on the itemized receipt. TAKE YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE. I will not use their services again!!

One ripped customer.I went for a oil leak fixing for my dodge charger. I usually take care of my car with regular services and I cant run even with a minor issue. I found a oil leak after a long round trip from Suwanee to FL. that too in 24 hours of parking 1 drop may drip(or not)..first day he quoted 750 dollars to fix three gaskets and spark plugs(as maintenance) verbally.next day when I went their for fixing he said only 2 gaskets he mentioned and told rear mail seal itself will cost me more than 1k. so I agreed and left the car.took 2 days to fix and I drove my car back. within 1/2 mile, car started misfiring which was all new in its history. Stop closed for the day and I went next day for fixing.when I asked what was wrong, he said that it might be a history which I didnt tell him and Im trying to manage to get it fixed along. totally shocked. tried to explain, but didnt get into arguments. By then I knew it, Im already got struck here and decided to get it fixed.next day he charged for new spark plug coil + a small labor. 55$he always choose to deliver the car at closing time. within 1/2 mile, car started misfiring again, so pulled it back the next day.he said that he needed time for diagnosing. I waited whole day and called him again after noonto hear more shocking stories. He said that engine controlling computer is having trouble and this fix would cost me 1100 $. I told him dont do anything further, and I would take the car away as is, for which he said he already ordered the component. I asked him how did he ordered a costly part without checking up with me and asked him to cancel. Finally he charged 360$ for this diagnose and let me off.totally I spent $ 1165 to damage my car, still oil is leaking.One other gentle man fixed all with $450 and show me that there is a cracked spark plug inside. He damage your car and will rip you off. Never go there.

I brought in my acura TL and they said it needed a new engine (which it did). They did it for 3400 which I thought was reasonable. Few days later lights are flashing on my car. Took it in and they said it is common for the computers to do that for a new engine. I was suspicious so i took it to another mechanic for a secound opinion. Meanwhile my car is acting up, barley driving at all. Come to find out THEY PUT A WRONG ENGINE IN MY CAR! THEY PUT A TYPE-S IN MY REGULAR TL!! As upset as I was I polietly told the asian man that they put the wrong engine in and thats why the computer is not working. He said thats not why and said it was something else, and had the nerve to ask me to spend another $800. I took it to 2 more mechanics for their opinions and they all said there was a 3.2TL type-S engine in my regular 3.2 TL. They refused to fix the problem and will not give a refund or even admit that they messed up when I have proof that they did. DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR ANYTHING EVER!!!! THEY ARE THE PEOPLE YOU HEAR ABOUT FIXING ONE THING AND MESSING UP ANOTHER TO GET YOU TO COME BACK.LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE AND DO NOT EVER BRING YOUR CAR TO SUWANEE AUTO REPAIR. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE AND ARE CURRENTLY IN CONTACT WITH MY ATTORNEY. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!

John was completely honest from the very start about what his shop would and wouldnt do for repair options because he provides a warranty on all the work. We negotiated which A/C compressor he would accept to put on the vehicle, worked out how many hours the book said it should take to do the job, and when the vehicle could be dropped off.For comparison: Kia, with the name of a big mall but actually some miles away, gave a quote of $750 just to put a new compressor AND DO NOTHING ELSE! And that would require them keeping the vehicle a few days.While Suwanee Auto Repairs cost to replace the compressor, clutch, coil, pulley, recover the refrigerant, check for leaks, recharge the system, test it, AND do a full vehicle inspection was $630... PLUS dropped the vehicle off Monday evening, picked it up Tuesday afternoon!Yes, yes, your price and timeframe may vary due to your make, model, shop requirements, etc... but still. What a completely nice surprise to find a shop that performs like this! Definitely will be back if I have other issues I cant do myself!
