Clean facility. Great quick service especially for them being at their busiest. Inexpensive prices for great quality of food. Country fried steak could be a little thicker howeber tastes great. Quick service as well. Portions are huge.

First time eating here. Was seated right away but a little slow to get menu and drink order. Once waitress had a chance to get to us she was great. Food was delicious. I had a club sandwich and fries and it was enough for 2 people.

Place was packed, but only waited a few minutes to be seated. While we waited, the lady at the front counter chatted us up and was super friendly. They took our order quickly and our food came out within 5-10 minutes. I got the giant Cinnamon Roll they only serve on Sundays and it was amazing. Will definitely be back!

Breakfast at Nicks Diner is wonderful, flavorful with plenty of choices. It reminded me of a great home-cooked meal. In reading the menu we were delighted to see many of our favorite dishes are available for lunch or dinner. Price is right, service is outstanding. Nicks Diner rocketed to the top of our favorite restaurants list.

We decided to try Nicks at the spur of the moment, based on word of mouth. They were crowded, but seated us (party of two) within 15 minutes. The waitress was extremely attentive and accommodating. The food was delicious, and the portions were very generous. It was cooked exactly as ordered, and was hot on arrival. The menu has a huge selection of breakfast and lunch items, but get here before they close at 3pm every day. You wont be disappointed.

Nick’s is my all time favorite breakfast hang out. The food= 5 stars, the staff =5 stars, the ambiance= 5 stars, the cleanliness= 5 stars, the service has NEVER been better, too bad we can only give 5 stars because Nick is one of those guys who emphasizes on giving his customers that personal feeling by coming over to your table and saying hello. Always feel at home with Nick.

My search is over, Ive finally found some really good Battered Fish & Steak Fries, and the price is even better!!! You cant beat $12.99 for the Giant pieces of fish they give you!! I went 2 Fridays in a row, because the Fish & Fries were so good!!

Chose Nicks Diner 11 based on Trip Advisor recommendations. Went for late breakfast/lunch. Busy but tables turned quickly. Liked it so much we returned everyday of our 4 day stay. Did not disappoint. Servers, greeters, food, wait time ALL exceeded expectations. This is definitely a spot to try. Nick has a hold mine here! No wonder he has a loyal and large clientele.

Our waitress, Renee, was awesome. She was attentive, listened to what we were asking, provided knowledgeable answers, and was very kind. The restaurant was very clean, including the bathroom. Oh yeah, and all of the food was delicious.

This is my first visit nice clean place with a wide variety on the menu; generous portions. Our server Angel, was attentive yet not a pest everything we needed without asking excellent Server!! And last but not least, bill was easy on the wallet including the tip. I love breakfast again!!

We had a party of 8 and were seated immediately, but it took a minute for our server to come by. Service was kind of blasé, but our server did check in fairly often and refreshed coffees. I ordered the breakfast burrito, and it was bland. I kept having to add salt every few bites, and I dont usually add extra salt to my food. My niece didnt care for the French toast as she said it tasted salty so unsure what that was about. The fruit one of us ordered was not very flavorful either.Overall, I wouldnt eat here again. Its overpriced for what it is, may as well make breakfast at home.

I was in area & hungry on Friday so when here to try fish fry. Service was quick & food came fast. They give you 3 nice size portions with your choice of potatoes. At 13 bucks was alittle expensive compared to comparably cafes. Only extreme small soup. Fish & potatoes. No coleslaw or anything else. Fish was good but some batter was not fully cooked. I will probably try them again if in area.

Stopped here for breakfast on a Saturday. There was a short wait but it was well worth it. My hubby and I enjoyed their omelettes. I had the spinach and feta... it was delicious and they provided a good serving of feta. Most places are very stingy with the feta. If I am ever in the area again I would definitely stop again. The service was fast and the staff were very polite and on top of ensuring we were comfortable.

Small town feel with Greek style breakfast and lunch is why I go here. I always have the same waitress and where else can you get rewards for frequent visits to a Diner? They give great rewards based on what you spend not how many times you come and the potatoes with the breakfast are to die for. Chicken fried steak is amazing jot some dried up premise thing from a freezer like village inn and ihop. Do like I did and I hopped over to Nicks for great food and never went back.

Excellent. My partner and I got a to go meal. Hes been here before, my first time. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries and he had the a cheeseburger with fried egg, and two drinks. I thought 35 bucks was a bit much, however, when I got home and opened the container and could not believe how huge this burger was and a good size of fries, steak fries even better. This was my first visit and definitely will not be ny last. Not that I live far away now, but when I move to suprisein a couple months this will be my go to on Friday nights after working a long week and not wanting to cook. Absolutely Excellent, I highly recommend 👌

Nicks diner is one of my favorite spots to eat. Food is consistently good and the portions are very generous. Actually you could probably make two meals out of one lol I highly recommend trying Nicks Diner II if you havent yet. You wont be sorry.

Amazing food, great service always a pleasure to dine here. They have wonderful prices, especially their breakfast specials. Be sure to get their frequent diner card for a free meal. The kitchen is efficient and our food comes out hot and fast every time. They have great specials like free pie on Wednesday and all you can eat fish and chips on Friday. Sundays only they make huge, delicious cinnamon rolls. Nick is always there with a friendly hello. They serve breakfast all day long which is a special treat when you want waffles for dinner. They serve beer and wine and Happy Hour is 2:00 to 6:00 pm and all day Saturday.

A wonderful atmosphere and delicious dinner we ended up having at this place. I have just had never knew this place existed until we were looking for a place to eat at before a movie. I am so happy and God guided us to this place because it is truly blessed by wonderful people.

Nicks diner II. Gyro and a side cup of clam chowder. I know, and unlikely combination. The clam chowder was the highlight of this lunchtime meal. I’m sure it was pre-prepared as I really doubt anyone in that kitchen would take the time and effort to make real homemade clam chowder. But it did taste all right...stale crackers... Now on to the gyro. I have been on a quest to find a decent gyro on the west side of the valley since I moved here a couple years ago. I have come to the conclusion that it just doesn’t exist. (Anymore) But at least Nicks uses real Gyro meat, so there’s that. The problems with Gyro are as follows: the onions were so stringy and bitter that I couldn’t eat them and that’s saying something. The tomatoes are rock hard, and the Tzatziki tasted off. Like it had soured. The Gyro meat itself tasted just OK, but the pita bread was the best component of the whole sandwich.All of that said, this Gyro was better than their competitors with their “New and improved“ fake processed “meat”.I noticed some other dishes going out from the kitchen that looks pretty good so I may go back to Nick’s at some point to try something else. But this is not a place for gyros. I guess Peta wraps will have to do if I want a Gyro and don’t want to drive to the other side of the valley.Dang I wish we had a real diner in surprise.

The waiter has many things to learn. My ham tasted like a hot dog, the potatoe cakes were so greasy, over medium egg were snotty. Cant help but say it has on days and off days... more off then on

We have been eating at both Nicks locations for years. Our past 3 visits have been poor. The AYCE fish and chips on Friday used to be amazing. Now, not so much. Some of the waitress personalities leave way too muc to be desired. We had an experience where our waitress took our drink order, we asked for bread and oil, she explained that there wasnt much bread left for the tables, and because they were busy while we were there, they dont just give it away. Last night I got the kabob dinner. The chicken and beef were both completely tasteless. I guess well find another family style restaurant.

It has been a while since I had gone to Nicks because it isnt very close to my house but man this is the best place on the west side that you can go for breakfast. You will not find better tasting food or bigger proportions anywhere. I had the biscuits and gravy which contained two large biscuits and a mountain of the most delicious gravy anywhere around Phoenix. To find biscuits and gravy that are this good you would have to go to Georgia! My wife got a ham and cheese omelette which came with toast and hash browns. They werent skimpy on the ham and cheese like some other places and their hash browns are seasoned to perfection. Do yourself a favor and go here at least once. Im sure you will keep going back. Their prices are even lower than you would expect to pay for this quality. This place is a win win in my book.

Had ruben sandwich or should I say what they call a Ruben sandwich, chopped corned beef mixed in sauerkraut, never and I mean never eat anything there again. My wife had there plain corned beef sandwich, I think they used corned beef hash left over from breakfast. There fish fry was also pre made and put under heat lamps and soggy. Dont waste your money there you would be better off at Subway

Came here with my son because the barber had an hour wait and we were hungry. Sat at the bartop. Waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. I got a bacon cheeseburger and my son got chicken tenders. Fries were so yummy. We will definitely be back.

My family and I used to like this place until I noticed. Every time we come in the owner would never speak. I guess cause we’re not an elderly couple. We would come at least two times a week and out of the 20-25 times we visited. I believe the owner said hi once. I noticed it a while ago so we stopped being “regulars” we went again tonight for the first time in a few weeks and same thing different day. No, worries we will take our business somewhere else where we feel appreciated and welcome. Besides that the staff was always friendly, we always had the same sever because we came so frequently. She even knew what we were going to order all the time probably because we were good tippers and she’s good waitress. Oh well.

Not a bad place for breakfast.I ordered the Eggs Benedict. My sister ordered the Gryro Omelette plate.Eggs Benedict was middle of the road. Tastes ok. The Gyro omelette was a touch on the dry side. We both had coffee. The waitress never came by to offer refills. We had to flag her down and ask for more.But it wasnt TERRIBLE. Service was friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant. Its a bit of a drive from where we live, but we wanted to check it out. So... All in all it was OK.
