Very nice market in lots of good Korean food. I am not Korean so I found it kind of confusing how things were organized. The produce department was really quite excellent.
Very clean, parking can get a little congested depending on the time you are going. They do have a sushi food place inside as well.
Well stocked Korean market. Vegetables are fresh and so much cheaper than Chinese markets. I was surprised that even the Chinese items here are cheaper than the Chinese markets. Its over an hour drive for me from home, but I will definitely come back!
This is a more old-school Korean grocery store than Hmart. It doesnt have the pre-packaged hotpot kits, fancier meal kit stuff but i think If you know how to cook, youll appreciate this place more. Significantly cheaper than Hmart but definitely doesnt disappoint.
Fresher produce for the prices they charge. Youre less likely to throw away stuff you cant use fast enough. They carry a wide variety of products with the addition of an in-store bakery, banchan, and other ready-to-eat foods.
I like to cook and love Korean food. You can get authentic Korean products at Hankook supermarket.Very clean and fresh vegetables. The best place to shop for ingredients to make Korean food.
Check expiration carefully. Expired products with fungi. The WHOLE box is damaged by fungi when bringing home. I thought it was not ok to open the box and checked before purchasing but it turned out so disappointed. It cannot be returned. Cant believe it.The good side is the supermarket has affordable prices with a variety of options.Update: I did come back Hankook and wanted to add 2 more stars to give credits for hard working staff at the supermarket during the pandemic and the good prices. I did not intend to repost but every time I made some changes to my comment, my post showed up again.
Wow! First time here and impressive. Have seen this stire once but never thought to visit. Finally stepped in for one thing and came out with a bag full of goodies. This store is clean, well layed out, and has great prices. Products are well stocked and their different departments have friendly employees. The cashier was kind and even smiled and said have a good day which is rare (besides Trader Joes), to have an employee be kind and interact. Carts are being wiped down constantly and the store smells clean. Customers are courteous and the atmosphere is inviting. Im definitely coming back her again. Also, I discovered a DELICIOUS new treat. They had strawberry, chocolate, and brown sugar boba flavors. I went with strawberry - YUMMMMMMY! This store gets 5 stars for sure.
I havent visited this Korean supermarket for about 7-8 years. This time I came here on a whim. It gave me a big surprise. It finally used the restaurant next door to expand. Now the supermarket is very big and the things they sell are more fulfilling, which is great to attract more customers!
Really fresh produce and seafood. Great deli, try the gimbap! Snack aisle is well stocked.
Great selection of Korean products, foods and drinks. Its my first choice for any Asian products.
Lots of post covid changes. Real strong fish smell. Probably due to drought restrictions. Everyone wearing mask. Packed on Sat. Really hard to find parking
If you want to try authentic Korean food and much more, this is an exceptional store. They serve food so you can take home a warm meal ready to go with your groceries. They even have bedding and chair cushions that are made well.
Typical Korean supermarket. Lots of Korean food items can be found here.
Fresh vegetables and Fish. Almost all ingredients for any Korean cuisine are available.Well organized, clean store.Pre-cut meat for BBQ.Fresh home made Kimchi and other condiments.Fried food is a bit Oily and soggy. Almost not crispy. They also have some Japanese grocery at a much better price than Mitsuwa or Marukai stores.Ample parking but crowded.
My favorite Korean store in the neighborhood. Vegetables and meats are fresh and affordable.
One of my best Korean market...Need and tidy, fresh produce in good price.Including Korean fashion street style... And love the fresh cooked food...
My favorite Asian market, I can always find great deals on fresh produce especially hard to find mushrooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a large assortment of noodles, spices, and frozen goods. Lots of fresh made dishes available as well, even housewares.
Much better than H Mart.
I stopped in for a few items but ended up ordering hot food to go as well. Im coming back to get more food before I head back home to the east coast.
Classic korean market with all the necessities. can get busy during peak hours.
Large, busy Korean grocery store with food and household items. Huge selections on a variety of items. Plenty of seasoned seaweed choices, frozen and fresh noodles galore, tofu up the wazoo, kimchee by the bucket, meats, seafood, weekend food tastings, large fruit and vegetable section. Special food offerings, rice cookers, kitchen accessories, etc.
Super clean and great selection. A bit pricy, but you on get good quality.
Amazing selection of food and very clean.
Lots of choices of Korean products. Well organized. Clean. Just like any other markets around inflation is most items.
Only thing stands out was, enough room to go around, instead packed with items, I noticed price is considerably higher than most Korean markets.I shop there by accident, I probably wont shop there again .
It is a huge store with a lot of variety, but some of the staff are unknowledgeable.
Bright clean and huge selection of produce and dry goods. A go to for Korean and general Asian groceries
Still great during the pandemic. Food quality, product variety, coverage are top in this area. The shopping environment and store decorations are also very nice and comfortable. If you spend over certain amount, they’ll generously give you small gifts.
Everything is okay, and they just added condition that you not allowed to bring your back pack into the store.
This store has lots of variety and authentic Korean (and other Asian) food items. However, many of the vegetables are not very fresh. I usually buy my Korean essentials here but buy the meats and veggies from other grocery stores.
Great market, lotta fresh groceries and amazing selection.
Always well stocked and clean. Lots of parking. Great variety of rice and prices are good.
Clean, reasonably priced and convenient store for asian produce with a focus on the Korean market
Excellent customer service. Very clean. Good quality. Large selection of useful items.
Wish there were more hankook supermarkets. Fresh and high quality produces! They do not mark up the prices like Hmart does, their prices are also fair for the Korean products!
Better than the H mart.
Amazing place to buy every kind of fish
Good selections and clean environment 😊hope their cashiers can be a bit friendlier towards non-Korean speaking customers
The best place to shop Korean groceries. 👍
Kinda rip off for hot food pack as they show the price per LB, As they not show weight all packages so you will know final price when paying . I bought spicy squid as 14.99 per lb but end up the package not big pack come with 19.99 . I think to pricey compared if you eat at the restaurant
Very good well supplied outstanding
The best place to go for kbbq meats - imo their marinade is best! Bc of covid, all the premade side dishes are pre-packaged (still in the same place, back of store, close to the deli) as is their marinaded meats (isle 17, in the wall, refrigerated section, right corner). They sometimes give you free seaweed if you spend over 100 👍
It is good! We arrived at about 12 noon. There are not many people and there is no need to line up. This is what I expected. The cosmetics counter is not open, I don’t know when it will open. Fortunately, I still have some skin care products and look forward to it!
Love the korean pastries and kimbap you can get!
This is my long-standing go-to place for Asian groceries and produce in general. Be prepared for a very long line outside especially on weekend they are not sanitizing the shopping carts so bring your own sanitizer and wipes. Otherwise they are managing flow of people properly and store is being kept clean.
Good variety of korean/Asian goods.
Nice clean huge store with little markets inside plus the huge store
Parking in the back and Kind billing agents. Like Korean Stainless spoons and Tooth Brushes
Love this supermarket where you can find the best Kimchi.
Nice. Spacious with a large selection. Great produce section. Surprised to see a few items specifically catering to vegetarians. Appeared to have a small eatery that will be open again during non-covid times.
Old classic. They sell some really cheap produces than their competitors. Their marinated galbi is done right. We like it more than the H-mart version.
Cashier is very rude. Better come with a native speaker
They have got everything Korean and more. Excellent food stuff at reasonable price. They constantly have special deals. Love it.
In that place the food is always fresh.
Good price, very very clean and well organized. Cashiers are friendly and nice
Very spacious, unusually wide aisles, sanitized carts. However, most vegetables are prepackaged. They only show the healthy side towards outside. Two of my vegetables and fruits bags contained spoiled pieces in the center.Shoppers need to check the pre-packed bags thoroughly.
Large variety of Asian foods as well as other typical foods found in Safeway or Savemart. Size of store similar to Wal-Mart Supercenter.
Nice place for Korean foods and stuff
I love korean food and korean culture so this place and H Mart are my go-to places. They have a huge variety of korean things you can get from homerun balls (crackers with chocolate filling) to meat and fish. The prices are a little higher compared to other asian grocery stores but its on the cheaper side among the korean grocery stores. I cant tell everything you can get there but here are some things I got: daikon, kimchi, soondae, canned whelk, ice cream (bung-eo bbang, melona), a kind of fish, ramyeon, fish cakes, hot pepper flakes, natto and more. The line for checking out wasnt long and the cashiers werent rude. They usually play a lot of kpop songs which I do like and makes my shopping time more enjoyable!
They have some home products and I bought couple of home slippers and one of them damaged. Since I dont have a receipt and live in 20 mi away, I called them to make sure I can return it. The representative asked the receipt but I explained I didnt have one. I just drove to here 20 mi, and they said it was a mistake and they dont accept the return without receipt and they kept blaming the representative who spoke to me. How awful they avoid responsibility they should take. The slippers not cost much, but I really disappointed!
Clean store. Quality products. Great prices on veggies. Higher quality meats available here than at normal grocers. Cant complain.Good spot for people watching while you shop too. ;)
Very clean and bright store. The parking lot is huge, so you will always get a spot. Line wait times are dependent on time of day, but also day of the week. I think the longest we have ever waited to get in was maybe 15 minutes.Large produce section as well as a large banchan area. Banchan is prepackaged, but without prices on each, just the overhead price per pound sign. They also have some stalls you can buy food at.They usually have all of their registers open, which makes waiting in line very short!
Some stuff is pretty good, but the service is really bad, when we were checking out, the cashier responsible basically threw the items across and was overall pretty rude. I have family members who work in the service industry (works in guest/customer service) too, I hope the staff will be a bit more friendly next time if I decide to stop by again.
Large selection. Some small stores with in larger store.
Very nice market a little older in stlye and some items are very expensive. But clean and friendly.
Hands down the best Korean market in the Bay Area. Clean and carries lots of hard to find d Korean products.
It is fun to shop here....
Clean, follow state guidelines for covid pretty well. You can find almost everything for korean food supplies.
Good variety of Asian groceries. I like that they have fresh fruit and seafood.
Family has been coming coming and buying our groceries here for years, wide selection of grocery items, aisles very clean and well organized. But lately, customer service in the Fish section has been very poor. I would say ’off the charts’ just Rude, everytime we buy seafood. And its the same person. Please be mindful that most customers who tends to order fish are seniors, elderly people like my mom. Being patient goes a long way. 2 stars out of 4.
One of the best Korean market in the area
Great variety and clean store. Had everything I couldve needed and more
Best korean grocery in the area
Great selection and clean store. Occasionally they have banchan (side dishes) direct from Korea. So delicious!!
Terrible for people with disabilities. I parked my car 6 inches out of the space, to make room for my handicapped wife so that she could get out of her side of the car, and the security guard told me I had to move the car. I had the handicap tag up, the store had partly erased the handicapped decal on the pavement, but not entirely, and the guard still wouldnt listen to reason. So I straightened the car out, later I couldnt get my wife in the car on that side. If your handicapped, go some other place, find some place with compassion.
The best and well-organized Korean Store. We will comeback with its fresh and tasty kimchi. Covid ready and we greatly appreciate their proactiveness to protect their employees and customers.
With the surge of covid, there was a long line but moved fast. The super market is well stocked with Korean and Japanese products/food. Definitely my go to to find any korean food or ingredients.
