Surprisingly large and great selection of a ton of Asian products. They have a large tea aisle that I was quite impressed by and all the great matcha flavored snacks as well.Worth checking out!

My favorite local Asian store... Great inventory, fresh produce, fresh seafood... Only issue I have is they have no live Dungeness crab and beef cost is a little more than other places but fair enough... Greatest feature here is that there is not a lot of PEOPLE...

Usually well stocked w/ basic & staple items, particularly Asian ingredients. As with all grocery stores, theyve been affected by pandemic. Volume and diversity of fresh vegetables not as varied as pre-pandemic. Masks required, there is sanitizer spray for carts and hand baskets at the entrance but it is self applied no one there to check or assist customers - but thats normal no change since pre-pandemic. Same staff over the years, doesnt seem as if anyone has been sick as theyre still there. Weve found them to be reliable, clean and usually well-stocked.

I’ve lived in this neighborhood for many years and many of the longtime residents remember this place as “Dick’s Supermarket.” This was always our go to place for bulk rice, fresh meat (they have a butcher counter) and veggies. The store hasn’t been upgraded since the 1960’s - but the quality has always been very good. I shop here on a regular basis - it’s not fancy, but you can come across some great deals.

I am enamored with this hidden Jewel of a store... There is such a variety of products that I absolutely love and I never cease to find something new and exciting to try!!! You can also buy fish on site and they will fry them for you free of charge. If youre looking for a quick and clean dinner, that is definitely a fun way to go. The products are great and the people in the seafood department are so kind... I am not Asian, so a lot of the things are new to me that are there. I am never made to feel embarrassed or uncomfortable asking a question or looking for a recommendation. That to me, is big. Try something new and fun there or go with familiar products and comfort foods. Either way, you cannot lose!!! I recommend this place very highly.

Just moved from LA to San Jose, the prices of all kinds of foods, fruits and products increase 👆sharply. But prices of the most products in this supermarket dont change much, meanwhile the fruits, vegetables, and meat are fresh and clean. The whole decorations in the supermarket are very simple, so you could see the owner paid money for the right things. And you can feel that the owners used their warm hearts to operate this little shop.

This is a small local neighborhood Chinese market, its got your basic Chinese and Vietnamese condiments, seafood,pork, chicken, noodles, rice,cookies, Vietnamese coffee,Chinese green teas and black teas,Chinese vegetables, beer, wines and lottery tickets.

Vegetables here are quite fresh and last longer than other shop. They often have discount for chopped pork and prawn. There are variety of asian sauces.

It is one of the best places there to buy food, seafood and more imported things, parking is large enough to not waste much time in finding a space, but the trouble is that customer service is sometimes bad and not they are always friendly. Too supervise customers to the point of being annoying. The good news is that these are things that can easily improve and thus receive greater satisfaction and better customer ratings

Worst and rude staffMorning I gone to buy fish. I asked him to cut into thin slices . He is shouting and screaming and blabaring something in different language.Last week one of staff started fighting to step aside and threatening with knife indirectly.The same guy today shouting hello hello behind my back.

- Rude cashier- OK meat and seafood. Price is OK but not very fresh- OK veggies and fruits - price tends to at the higher end comparing to other Asian super markets- High price on the other groceries with less selection- They DONT accept credit card if your purchase is less than 10 bucks.

They have very good large shrimp for a very good price. Their produce is fresh and they are cheaper than the korean and american grocery markets. Their location is convenient with plenty of parking. I frequent New Wing Yuan a lot more than any other store because I know I will get the best deals here.

A fine alternative to 99 for those who dont want to go to Milpitas, Cupertino, or Mountain View. It may not have all the brand selection of 99 but it has the necessary things you might want (Chinese vegetables, seafood, meat, frozen goods, dried goods, etc.) I only go to 99 if we REALLY need something that New Wing Yuan doesnt have. Also, this place is never busy and its more spacious than any 99.
