No browsing allowed, even if you know the items you need and simply want to check out other things first. Since browsing is the most enjoyable part of going to work international markets I have to go with one star.

I just love this place! I go here for all of my meat needs and I can find everything here in one stop. I’m always greeted at the door and I hope this place has many more years in our community.

This is the best place to buy chicken and goat in Dane County. The goat is extremely soft and you get great value for money. They also cut the chicken into small or medium or large pieces as per your request.We used to go every other week when we stayed on the East Side but now that we moved near Fitchburg, we still go there once a month every time we want to have goat.

Apparently if you dont know exactly what you want and why you are in there it is reason enough for you to be followed around. Would never set foot back into this store as there are plenty of other Asian markets where I can browse and pick up items that strike my fancy.

My experience was amazing. I found each item I was looking for a an amazing buy, the people are very friendly and nice, I will return very soon .

The worse experience 😪 of my life the own is so rude. I was looking for an item she follows me and said that there was no shopping. So I apologize and she said that she could order the item I gave her the information. I left and then I was looking for a sign where it said no shopping and she came to my car and said what are you doing I said I was looking for a sign that said no shopping. She said I am telling and then she said I am calling the police I was doing nothing for her to treated me like that. I will never go back or spend any money there for sure. I wish I could tell people not to go there. But everybody has their needs and she carries alot of items you cant find anywhere else. But there is another friendly store on the other side of town. I read what you said they are all lie I just went cause I thought I could what I was looking for but are not just rude but are a lier and what you said said you made up have great rest of your life

I visited for the first time today with my boyfriend and we were followed by the lady who seemed to be the owner who kept creeping behind us and prevented us from taking a picture to try to see what a product was (cause unlabeled) it looked like worms inside a jar of tequila and she told us it was Moss. the store is dirty and smells like death, watch out for the rotten meat. Yikes!!!!!Im assuming the owner will respond to this (and not take responsibility for her threatening behavior) and will argue with the complaints. But you will see by reading the reviews that lots of people shared similar experiences with this woman.

Despite following proper safety procedures and there only being a total of 4 customers in the entire store, I was followed by a employee and told if I didnt know exactly what I wanted that I couldnt be there. Since I never got the opportunity to see what was offered I have no reason to return. All in all 2 stars might be too many.

Ive been going here about once a month to stock up on various asian cooking supplies. Today I got kicked out for not having a shopping list. Something about only letting three people in the store due to covid. Limiting access is great for the pandemic, but I was literally the only customer in the store and the lady was super annoyed I didnt need help finding anything. Ill be going to another asian grocer from now on.

She ignores you when she choose to, the store never opens according to hours posted. They open and closed whenever they feel.like it. I am a educated young black women and every time I come here I am racially profiled. You would think in store that is so diverse in products that the people would be kinder to people of color. The women cashier mistakes me for another black customer twice, and denied my ID because she said I was too black for her to recognize. If you are a person of color avoid this place!!!!!!! The lady at the register should be fired and is very rude, snobby, and lazy. If you think I am lying read the reviews below this. I will NEVER IN MY LIFE SHOP HERE AGAIN! The store STINKS is dirty, the floors look like theyve never been moped. The produce is rotten and the selection of products is limited to a couple of countrys. I was attacked by flies and saw bugs crawling on the floor and fruit. This place is a nightmare you should not expose yourself to the potential sicknesses lurking at om world market.

I would never return this store if my life depended upon it. The lady who is primarily there is beyond unpleasant. She leaves notes on the door saying she’s in the back. Regular customers will sadly know exactly what I’m talking about. It’s a lie, she’s left the store and the number to call is a constantly busy. Upon complaining about this I was confronted with the worst attitude I’ve ever encountered in a customer service setting. She’s very rude and doesn’t know how to speak to customers let alone people. Perhaps she has issues going on in her personal life but it would appear she is quite unstable and can be triggered by anything. If she’s the owner that’s sad and if she isn’t the owner she should no longer work there.

These are very rude and unprofessional people. First they put up a post for cutomer feedback on the dane county facebook site. A few people started to go give them feed back on what they can improve and they then took down that post. The next day put up another temporary post and blasted 3 peoples name on that post that they are banned from the stores and that court orders are put in against them immediately! And tells them to take their business elsewhere. Omg! So very unprofessional and very immature behaviours. They banned people foe giving honest feedbacks about them instead of taking it for improving their business. What kind of business is that? I will never go support those people for that reason. Ive been to that place 2 times and its very unsanitary. I cant imagine eating the foods from there.

Went onto the stores FB page today and saw the owners temporary post about banning a few customers from their store and that trespassing/restraining orders will be filed against them. Come to find out, these people were just sharing their bad experiences at the store with each other on a FB post. The owner decided to chime into the conversation to defend their store. The post was later removed by the admins of that FB group because they want to avoid any confrontations. It couldve ended there but the owner decided to take matters into their own hands by publicly posting on their stores FB page that these folks will be banned and trespassing/restraining orders will be filed against them. I feel like this is so uncalled for. Businesses should be able to accept any kind of feedback or complaints from customers and just move on. The business owner shouldnt even take part in these kinds of conversation and then on top of that, shaming the customer publicly on your stores FB page. Just remember one thing, its the customers that are paying your bills. Ive been a customer of this store for a few years now because I love supporting local businesses, but after seeing how the owner flipped out over a FB conversation, my mind has changed about support this business. I can see why there are bad reviews about their customer service now. I hope the store owners learned a lesson from this.

I thought this was a friendly place to shop the first time my girlfriend and I were there, but the last two times the lady at the counter was very rude. My girlfriend does not read Korean and she told my girlfriend to look for Korean Ginseng (which was written in Korean) and piled up around a lot of other things on an isle that was very disorganized .All she had to do was be courteous, walk 10 feet or so and show her where it was, instead of saying I dont know, Look on isle!.Maybe this lady is bipolar or something, but we will not be spending anymore of our money there.

Very rude lady at the counter. my husband was window shopping while I got some some stuff and this lady kept hovering around me asking what i wanted and i kept telling her my wife is getting some stuff..she kept returning to me every minute and i felt she was rushing us out of the place. when i confronted her, she used a racial slur against my husband to suggest that he being black could mean he was shoplifting.I am a white woman and my husband is from West Africa and this just brought further attention to how blacks and whites are treated so differently even by immigrants who should know better.
