Hours definitely needs an update did a mobile order for 9pm and online it said they closed at 10pm. Showed up and the place was closed, had to call the next day to get my refund. Upon getting my refund I gave it another try and did a new order and they got 2 of the items on my order wrong. Given the 3 stars it would be on the hours given on the location not accurate due to lack of employees showing up for their shift. I was out of town and my sister was telling me about this starbucks and decided to give it a try, maybe next time would be a better experience.

Love love love the dark roast. Then theres the lemon loaf cake. The people are very friendly and quick.

I have 3 daughters and we all love Starbucks. The Sumter Starbucks never lets us down and they are very patient with my 4 year old and her inability to decide which cakepop she will get. Mobile ordering is unavailable which means we have to wait in their normally long line and you cant go in after 5pm which takes away from the babys Starbucks experience. She likes to feel fancy. They are still the best place for coffee in town.

Every time you visit this location, its an adventure. They might be out of menu items, only using drive thru, or sometimes closed altogether, with nothing more than a sorry sign. No explanation, no rhyme or reason. Happens at least 1/3 of the times I visit. COVID-related? Maybe....who knows?

Today sep 20th 2021, Sumter time 7:45 pm, I ordered thru drive thru, when I pulled to the window, he giving me the wrong item, I told him it’s wrong, he said that’s what I heard, he fixed it with another wrong item and said some words I didn’t understand, if u don’t want to work, plz stay home, I just took the order and left, and it suppose be frozen, it’s just cold .

I initially left this Starbucks a low star rating. However, they have definitely recently hired better staff. I have no complaints now. Friendly service, and definitely a decreased wait time! Keep it up!

I had terrible service at this location today. A woman ahead of me received her order and proceeded to order several more items after she already paid. I had to wait in the drive-thru for ten minutes. The staff didn’t have the courage to tell her to come inside. When I finally pulled up, they didn’t get my ordercorrect—giving me one drink instead of two. It didn’t taste like a hot caramel macchiato at all. It was a waste of my money. It went down the drain—literally.

The new manager with the green hair, Roxis? Is a horrible person. I have never felt so disrespected by an employee of starbucks in my life. I get the same order everyday and she decided that because ice changes the flavor of Nitro cold brew I wasnt allowed to have it. Even though every Starbucks between here and Los Angeles, has made my drink how I ENJOY IT. I guess this manager doesnt care about customer service at all. People came up to me outside and said she was horrible and apologized for her!! Wow. I cant believe that putting something over ice is now illegal in the starbucks. Disgusting.

Unprofessionalism at its finest. They are never consistent. Always running out of food and the customer service is horrible. I hate that I run a business in Sumter because this is the only Starbucks that I have access to.

I always order thru the app thinking it will be quicker but I end up still having to sit and wait. Also the drive thru line is always long and you can expect to wait atleast 15 minutes. It’s a shame and I think Sumter needs another Starbucks.

I don’t go there myself but I go there for my wife all the time. Today there was a deaf lady running the drive through counter. THATS AWESOME! But today I read off my iPhone what my wife wanted and she typed it wrong and I didn’t catch it until I got to the window. I told the lady and they gave me a new one. Good people are hard to find normally but not at the Sumter Starbucks. Great place and great service!

Ordered online. Said 9-12 minute wait. Got there 8 minutes after I placed my order, THANKFULLY....because I was in the drive thru line 31 minutes total. I was so happy to finally make it to the window to get my $6.33 VERY MUCH melted Frappuccino. I will never ever go back to this location.

I go by Starbucks in sumter sc when I’m in town to visit my mom.... service is terrible and very very very very slow at the drive thru every single time. Sometimes I have to pull out of line. Hire more people. Locations In Charlotte nc are never like that.

You will always have an insane wait time at this Starbucks. Its the only one within like 40 miles for some reason and the only other coffee shop is a Dunkin Donuts that has terrible drinks and doesnt ever have anything but basic donuts past the morning rush. This Starbucks wasnt this bad before the pandemic. Maybe they will get better once people can go inside to order again but right now, stay away unless you dont value your time at all.

This Starbucks is consistently slow. I can’t ordered ahead, walk in, or go through the drive thru without spending at least 30 minutes waiting. The people are super nice & the environment is clean, but the speed in which drinks are made is horrendously slow.

I absolutely love this store!!! The team in there always provides great customer service and perfect coffee. Today they were out of syrup for my usual CDL but I asked the young lady to fix me something 😊 and they did perfect!!! It’s like they know me through and through.love them!!!!!

The workers here are so nice! Ive never had one rude or mean barista. The place is always really clean and the drive thru workers go as fast as they can. The drinks are always good and their breakfast sandwiches are delicious! One of the better kept Starbucks Ive been too.

We ordered the Christmas Blend blonde and dark roast. The baristas told us they do not have them available except as pour overs after 11 AM. That is weird but okay. The place was packed and the Barista advised us it was going to take a very long time. It only took 4 minutes. Unfortunately the blonde roast was intensely bitter, which means to us that he got the measurements wrong. I paid extra for sweet cream and asked for extra sweet cream to boot. I am not sure what they put in mine but it looked black. We got home and fixed the coffees up and then warmed them. To his credit, the Barista began working on our pour overs almost immediately. They just did not turn out right.

Starbuck was awesome. Uber Eats never delivered my coffees, so they made me a new batch. Thank you

Didnt have to wait that long even though it was crowded. My family and I went there because my uncle carrying my grandmas ashes missed his exit so we had some time we needed to kill. The egg cups are not my thing. Theyre kind of rubbery on the outside then sift and barely cooked on the inside. The texture was too much for me.

More of an individual review than the shop as a whole. To the very sweet barista who brought me a coffee and my kids cakes pops after I was in a car accident and was stuck out in front of the shop waiting for the police to do their thing, Thank You!My husband had walked up to the shop to grab me a coffee because I could feel a headache coming on after the accident, but thanks to COVID, they aren’t taking in store orders(which we weren’t thinking about at the time) so he was initially turned away by one employee since we didn’t have the app to order from.Fast forward a minute or two, and another woman comes out, orders me my coffee from her phone, refuses to take any cash or payment, brings me the coffee, and then returns a 3rd time with treats for my children who were waiting in my husbands truck for us to be able to leave the scene. This individual went above and beyond to make a bad situation a little bit better. So again, Thank you sweet lady!

The customer service here is great. The baristas are patient, and help if you arent exactly sure what you want. I was doing homework there last week and barista came around and checked on everyone at the tables, even offered waters. The drink orders are never wrong- one of the better Starbucks Ive been to.

I was not at all happy with my visit at this location. Went through the drive-thru, at the window the girl was playing with her hair and pulling her mask down. She was very rude and unprofessional. To say the least, I will not come back to this location.

Our Starbucks in Sumter is one of the best I have been to. It is clean and the coffees are first rate. They never taste watered down but well made with full flavor. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.

I was at this location a few days ago it is not my normal go to place but decided to order a macchiato extra grande I was given a small cup macchiato but was charged for an extra large. since this is a new place to me I wasnt sure what I was ordering but when I went back with my daughter she ordered the same thing and received a very tall cup for the same amount I had paid. when I ask a gentleman at the window I said what size is this one because I had paid the same amount for one yesterday in a small cup he says that is a large macchiato. so I ask the gentleman that the window is it well yesterday and I explained to him what had happened and his response was I dont know I dont know what happened I wasnt working so I dont know I have a good day. okay I dont know how to eat anything at Starbucks or order anyting here and what it should look like so I guess I will not be returning to this location.

Personnel are extremely polite and fast even on busy days. Restrooms are clean and accommodate one person at a time. Seating arrangements could be better but this place is not bad for reading or studies.

I was pleased with my two visits to this Starbucks.What can I say? The staff were friendly, the coffee was good, and the patio was perfect for a long, sunny lunch. Hooray!My thanks goes out to all associated with this coffee shop. I am grateful for, and have benefited from, your service.

Always have to wait an extreme amount of time. Last time I waited 30 min just to get to the speaker to order for them to tell me they are practically out of everything to include cups. Then waited another 20 min to get out of line because the line is blocked by curbs.
