Friendly and patient associate offered to check the stock room for us when the shelf was empty. Very nice to see a friendly smile and an offer to assist us, especially during such stressful times. Didnt get this young mans name, but he brightened our day!

A very small store the, so called helpful hardware folks dont seem to know the difference between a bucket and a bolt.

Didnt have what I needed but the guy told me to elsewhere and I found what I needed . Great customer service .

I Love this store. This is the only store in Streator that has never once disappointed me. Always have an answer for what I need, and if I do not know what it is I need, Im confident one of the employees will.

A bit pricey, good help there though!They entered the wrong phone number for the ace discount card and I guess I been putting it in someone elses card last few times I been there. All I can do is suggest checking with them and make sure they have the information right for you card.

Gary has helped me,on more than one occasion, to solve my plumbing issues. Thank you on behalf of my family for the guidance to correct what’s not working in my home. 😁I will continue to use this location based on the wonderful service.

Signs on entrance basically telling customers to wear a mask. Not all their employees are wearing them. If your posting those signs then enforce it with your own employees.

I ordered a new remote for my truck and it had a flip key. I took it to my local Ace Hardware in Streator, IL to get the key cut. The kid at the counter said he would not make the key for me because I didnt buy it from him, a flip key remote that they dont even sell. I cant believe Ace would say they have a policy to not help a customer with something this simple. I thought Ace was the HELPFUL HARDWARE STORE.

I went to make key copies. It was fast. It was just simple keys, nothing high tech, nothing chip inserted, key. Just regular boring keys. Fast and easy.

Ive been to many hardware stores in my lifetime certainly many Ace Hardware. This particular location is extremely well stopped very wide variety of products this is a hardware store of hardware stores. Also there is plenty of help. Around that is not only knowledgeable but friendly and actually go out of their way to help you. Highly recommended. This is what a retail hardware store should be like they even have car parts.

Dealt with two employees, looking for some plumbing help. They were very grumpy towards the fact that I came in at 5:15 when they close at 5:30. They looked at the piece I needed and said that doesn’t go to a sink. I asked for recommendation and they said I should try another business the next day. Can’t believe this from Ace employees the standard has really gone down.

Very large hardware store. It was Saturday so I dont know if weekend staff is different from during the week but I asked for help twice. I asked 2 different people, that did not appear to be helping someone else. They just told me to look in different places.Neither of them offered to show me or help me look . I gave up and left.
