On a phone call today the rep recommend I should just bring in my carburetor for further evaluation! I was greeted by two guys showing true interest in my carb concern and after only a few seconds they told me i could save money that for about 20 bucks I could just order it on line myself saving time and money as they no longer deal in Homelite products.I appreciated his giving me confidence in my ability to do it myself and save $ Thank you ACME Stockton.Steve

This place is the only one in town that works on riding lawnmowers, and these people know what there doing. I went to about four other shops and none of them works on riding mowers like them. The head mechanic Dr.Dave is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to commercial scag mowers. The best in town.

Called them looking for a genorator part. The guy I spoke to asked me what brand. I told him Predator, but I know that part i need is universal with honda along with other brands, as well with certain lawn mowers and what not. The guy was very rude after telling him this and insisted that no honda parts are capatable with predator. Even though I bought this same exact part a few months ago through Honda directly and it fit and worked like a charm. He seemed very irritated (almost like he was mad I own a predator instead of honda) and rushed me off the phone, refusing to even check if he had the part. Chances are he did its a pretty common part and would have made a $40-$50 sale. We wonder why so many businesses go under. Well here is prime example. Customer service should always be number 1 with any business.

I dropped off my lawn mower to get a tune up, change belts, blades, and spark plug which are all I could do myself. They told me 1 week. Its been 2 weeks now and when I call them they ask for my ticket number & they sound as if they had lost the order form or my mower. These guys are incompetent. They wastes my time and money. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ACME SAW AND SUPPLY in Stockton, Ca

I took 3 pieces of equipment into them for repair. A chainsaw & weed eater with carburetor problems which they rebuilt & left most of the lock washers off. Neither was test started buy them because when I got them home they had no gas in them and one of them I had a problem getting it even primed.The third was a hedge trimmer with a bent blade which they told me was not worth fixing & it was cheaper to just buy a new one. I found that the estimate of $200.00 they gave me for repairing it had prices blown up 180% to 200% over their sister stores in Lodi & Sacramento. I then took it to another shop which repaired it by straightening the blade for $20.00.
