The lady in the office is wonderful so this does not apply to her. Nobody preforms work on a vehicle without consulting fully and respectfully with the customer. The owner was very rude to us despite his little jokes and sarcastic remarks. Having a short fuse will overshadow all other good traits.

I got my car fixed here, the service provided was excellent. They worked with me and the insurance company . The repair was done nicely. James is very honest and kept me updated on the repair details, reasonable price. Called near by repair places they were charging a lot compared to what James was charging. Will go to him again for car repair

I brought my car to Discount Auto Body & Repair and the owner provided 100% satisfaction! My car was in a collision and the whole front bumper, fenders, axle and headlights were done. He made my car look brand new with a VERY reasonable price compared to other shops. I will be coming back to the owner! #1 in Stockton. My family and I can’t thank you enough.

Man James is the man my car was messed up for weeks and I called around for a decent mechanic shop thats not out to get me for my money, I got to say his price was lowest and his work was done very fast and my car was good to go! Hes a great man that works hard to give his customers his all he even stayed after work just for me to get my car because he knew I have children and was very in need of my car to be up and running. I really appreciate this awesome man thats why I rate the shop 5 . I would recommend this shop to everyone. They get the job done and very honest people with great customer service. Im glad I came here! I will come again if I have any problems with my car in the future! Im now a loyal customer!

I love discount auto body shop. Met James about 10 years ago. Ive been a faithful customer ever since. James is patient with me. He gets the job done and is very reasonable. I can get my car in and out with a quick turn around because he knows that in order for me to stay working I need my car and I need it now. I will follow James wherever he goes, as I did from Oakland to Stockton. I may not be able to get to him as often as I use to but I will always go to him first.

Very quick and thorough inspection of my radiator problem and replaced it at the same day. Very professional to talk to. James is the very friendly and professional guy and a very good mechanic. I would recommend him to other people who needs fixing on thier cars. Two thumbs up!!!

James is great and does awesome work. Years ago I used to do my own work but cars have become more complicated and I am too lazy to learn, work and collect all the tools. I did have reservations about going to a pro mechanic though. I finally found James at Discount. He does great work, talks me though what is going on, gets good prices on parts and helps me make decisions about what I should do to balance cost and effectiveness. If I move the only thing I will really miss about the east bay is having a mechanic I can trust.

Ive been going to James for over 10 years now. You wont find a mechanic that is more honest and reasonable. Ive recommend him to all my family and they now go here. He gives honest opinion and tell you that you dont need any other work done if not necessary. The only thing is, he has so many customers he get so busy that the wait might be to long. Ive take my car to different shops due to this but my experience with them are not good they arent honest and over charge. So I simply go back and appreciate James and the wait is very worth it.
