I worked in Stilly for 2 wks, I visited this store about 5x. The checkouts were great, but fishing dept should give a Let me know if you need help finding something. You know most men wont ask for help..

Got exactly what I was looking for in a quick amount of time.Was looking for a skateboard that Walmart said they had even though they didnt. Decided to try academy. I called academy before hand, they told me they had some. When I walked inside, someone directed me straight to an isle with like 20 different skateboards. I picked one out and got through the line fast. Everybody was really friendly. Great experience.

I love academy however lately there selection has been a bit skimpy.

The prices are reasonable and it is a good place to go for shoes and sporting equipment. This specific visit they either didnt have what I was looking for or I couldnt find it personally. We ended up going to Rack Room Shoes instead. We were looking for Converse shoes.

Friendly staff, quick check out, also clean. Some sections need improvement on their organization and selection of products available.

The staff was very helpfull. We found good deals on wrangler jeans, also on shoes. We always shop there when we need shoes.

Lets fill out a card, my name and phone number, then when this caliber shows up, you set two boxes and my card on a shelf, call me to notify me of the presence of two boxes, and give me 24 hours to pick them up.If I dont, re-shelf them.At least this is fair...to your customers...who arent in the store 5 days a week. It is dis heartening....to find the ammo you need....always sold outBefore you can get there...And several of my weapons have come from this chain.

Storage great with a wide selection of various items that interest both men and women but theyre going to laxidasical about getting back to me for an interview

Closest store to my residence so it gets my most frequent of visits. The customer service staff is friendly and helpful. They check up on you and make sure you are getting the things you need. Prices arent always the cheapest but competitive considering the distance.

Seemed busy but prices were a bit steep for some of the items they sell. Some shoes were on sale but didnt have my size. Nice clean store and staff seemed friendly enough.

The clerks were extremely nice and did their jobs well. The young man in the fishing department acted like it was an inconvenience to help me.I asked for a particular life jacket by the name of Magellan and showed him the same picture that I attached to this post. Without bothering to check the store inventory on their system, he said that they didnt have any of those. They wasnt busy as even one of the cashiers was stocking the floor.Guess what I found in the life jacket aisle while looking for something else? The exact life jacket so I bought it.

I buy ammo,reloading supplies,bolts and broadheads there. Its Jimbos favorite place to shop. The employees love to see him come in. That is my big German Shepherd .I would like to see more reloading stuff out on the shelves in a lot of the popular calibers. 4064 powder would sell great. Stillwater Oklahoma needs reloading supplies.

Love most of the products in this store but customer service is lacking or maybe the corporate policy is. If you give someone a copy of your order that was sent to you when you placed the order and call to change the pick up person to your daughter instead of yourself there should be a way a manager can approve that! Well I guess there isnt or the manager is to lazy to do it. With Covid I rarely go to town and didnt think I had anyone going today so I select Me as the pick up person. I live 30 min from the store. I needed the product soon or I would have had it shipped. Now I will make a special trip or cancel the order all together which is what I am thinking I will do. Not the only place that sells it.

Academy is always great. I went in for a few T-balls for my tiny human. In and out as usual. Although, they dont offer the military discount anymore. So theres that.

Service was good, once the staff acknowledged me. . . .which I had to approach them to do . . . at the binocular case . . . where they were standing and I was shopping.

I was looking at hand guns, the sales guy was rude, told me he had no 22s . then repeated.. See, youre not listening, I told you I dont have 22s. They were in the next display.( go figure) So glad he went away. So he got me another sales guy that was patient, knowledgeable and polite. This guy made my experience much better. 2 stars away because of a rude sales guy.

A good store for sporting and outdoor supplies. It is more focused on areas other stores in town lack.In some areas, it can be a bit overpriced, especially if compared to Walmart. The thing about Academy, though, is that you always know the brand is legitimate.It lacks any supplies for Disc Golfing. As of 13.8.2020, they had ten or less bicycles in stock, a very unusual number.

Really good store with nice people willing to help! They got all sorts of stuff anything you need for good deals. I highly recommend trying it out for those who have never been!

Complete sporting goods store. Very good selection of cleats for soccer, football, baseball and softball. This is a god place to find athletic equipment in the entry level to good category. If you are looking for highly specialized equipment or the best equipment in a category this is not the place to find it. There is also a lot of apparel, both branded and store brand.

Went here to purchase cheer shoes for my granddaughter, they had a really good selection for her to choose from, :)

I have purchased several guns from academy stores in edmond, okc and stillwater, today i attempted to buy a youth pump 410 academy refused sale due to a rural address and supposed store policy they refused to show. in some way i understand the misunderstanding and refusal but this issue has been cleared by the feds a few times before. and i have purchased guns from this store in the past with the same address. i noticed the gun rack was nearly empty, i asked why, the sales rep said they were sending guns back they couldnt sell? congrats academy you prevented the sale of a pump 410 shotgun

I will never understand in a big city why they only have the return desk open for check out. The help is very slim there and when you do find someone to help your lucky if you can get them to look up an item at another location there has been maybe twice that Ive gotten good help there but most of the time the employees just walk right on by without even offering to help when they see your looking for something
