The smells alone make it 100% worth walking through the front door. But my eyes totally lit up from the assortment of treats and popcorn you offer. Also, not forgetting to mention honoring your military loved one in the case on the wall. I happened to capture it in one of my photos.

Great candy store...the smell alone is amazing. Bought some Carmel Corn that may be the best Ive ever had...and it was only $2.50. Went to buy some chocolate cigars because my first grandson was just born. They were only $1.25 each...so I bought the whole box. High quality goods at very reasonable prices for a speciality store in a tourist area. Definitely visit if in the downtown area!

Stop in on Oct 31, 2021 to pick up some Goetzes Caramel Creams, what a big mistake that was. This great soft Caramel was very old and hard as a rock. This store has a very low turn over of their products, buyers be ware.

While its true that Candyland has candy, the reason you come here is for the popcorn! First of all, its made fresh in store all the time. The store smells amazing, all the time. Their Chicago mix is the perfect balance of plain, cheddar, and caramel corn. And their caramel corn! Whoa! Probably the best caramel corn Ive ever had. Its sweet, but the caramel has that almost, but not quite, burnt taste, that in my book is perfect! Mixing that sweet with the savory cheddar and salty plain popcorn makes it phenomenal. If youre in Stillwater, make sure you head to the North end of main Street and stop in at Candyland and get yourself some fresh popcorn and maybe some of the other great treats that they have!

I enjoyed the lemon droops. one time i dip them in salts! overall good store but i wish the floor was more red and squishy.

I love small town confectionary shops and this place is no exception. They had plenty of staff and very different chocolates and treats to choose from. Being a chocoholic I tried several chocolate treats that were fantastic, the haystacks, chocolate covered cherries, and the chips. ALL of them were amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful, humorous at times, and very responsive!! I will always come back here!!!

Came here for my first time with my wife and daughter and I felt like a kid in a candy store! Lol. The smells and choices available were insane and it was so hard to decide what we wanted. Ended up choosing the Carmel corn, Carmel truffles, chocolate covered oreos... And a bunch more. All were well worth it. Customer service was very good and friendly and prices were very reasonable. Will back be, highly recommended!

Stopped by after dinner to grab a treat for the ride home. I had the popcorn and my husband had the sponge candy. Both were great and what you’d expect from Candyland. The guy working the counter was very friendly.Parking: on street, but no trouble in the winter.

Candyland has the best Chicago Mix popcorn in town. The selection of other candy is good if you need to satisfy a sweet tooth. If you are near downtown Stillwater, grab some popcorn and enjoy while sitting near the river.

Popcorn 🍿 regular or to maxed out with nuts and chocolate is amazing! Saltwater taffy is delicious. Lots of chocolate items and all your favorite sugar based bulk candies. Service was great 👍 and everyone was very nice even on a busy labor day.

Absolute heaven for the sweet tooth. They have something for everyone. Some may say prices are high but you get what you pay for and their handcrafted sweets are worth the stop and the price paid. If anything, get some of the Chicago style popcorn.

Let me say there were 5 people working at this time. Someone they were going to help before me finally said you need to help her before you help me.

Candyland is a super cute boutique candy shop with all kinds of fun, yummy options. The staff are very kind and helpful and they seem to be keeping a healthy establishment during the pandemic. Definitely a good local business to support right now!

The saltwater taffy here is my favorite along with the homemade fudge! Wonderful selection of many old and new favorite sweets. Selections priced by weight but decent pricing. Staffed well to assist you and employees very helpful and friendly. If your spending a day with family in Stillwater this is fun stop for kids or any adult with a sweet tooth!

A must visit while checking out Stillwater. The owners are some of the best people you’ll meet. They truly care about their community. You can’t go wrong with anything there. I highly recommend their Cheddar, Caramel, and Regular Popcorn mix.

After reading the response of the owner, I feel I judged Candyland way too harshly on this day. It is easy to forget that we are in a pandemic because this seems to be the new normal. Never would I think shortages pertain to candy.... I am very sorry for my harsh judgment of your store. All I was thinking about was the exceptional service we receive in St. Paul and that doesnt help your Stillwater store by any means. You are a welcomed addition to Stillwater and please forgive me for my harsh judgements. I am glad that you said something because I never would have given this another thought. I have learned a valuable lesson with this post, thank you and I wish you continued success like you have enjoyed at your St. Paul store. We truly wouldnt go anywhere else......They were out of three items we asked for and there was something off with the Chicago Mix (still edible!). The server could not listen to direction and had no knowledge of candy! Definitely NOT like the St. Paul store. I never need to go back to this store......

Favorite Store! Been going to Candyland location downtown St. Paul since the 50. Stillwater location is great!

The place is great, they didnt have people following the directional signs they have though. I made sure to go through the entrance, but a lot were coming in the exit. Other than that, the candy and popcorn are fantastic as well as the service

The smell of fresh popcorn and chocolate is amazing!! Great customer service, friendly. We left with smiles on our faces, a big bag of Chicago mix popcorn and several smaller bags of their candy. We love supporting this business and bringing our grandkids here for a treat!

Who doesnt like Candyland?????????? Best popcorn hands down! Those workers are always patient, helpful and cheerful. I only wish they sweetened their sugar free candies with something other than Malitol. (We went sugar free a couple of years ago). If you are new to town, put this shop in as a MUST do, they have Delicious treats...BEWARE :)

My family and I went in for a quick chocolate stop (as usual 😆) but as we were ordering there was a bit of confusion and it was treated with rudeness and a loud mouth who didn’t give us a time of day to speak and forced us to choose something else other than what we wanted. The chocolate was delightful but I was very disappointed in the service. I would recommend something else in this beautiful area.
