My hubby and I were camping nearby and woke up early Sunday morning wanting some donuts. D & L was about 25 minutes from where we were staying and figured wed give it a shot. Let me tell you what, this is an AMAZING little bakery! First, they have cream sticks. We cant find those in Southern Virginia anywhere! That alone made the whole trip worth it! We got a dozen and a half mixed donuts and it was around $20. Such great prices and the customer service was wonderful! The girl working went and added sprinkles on the chocolate donuts for my kiddos. Well worth the trip out there and we will be coming back!

Yeast and cake donuts. Several flavors. Tried the cinnamon roll donut for the first time, definitely warm it up in the microwave for a few seconds, wow!! Hard to get to this location due to the construction

At prices a little over a buck a piece, the donuts here are amazing. Light crispiness to the outside and soft center. Rotate special donut offerings each day but favorites are available daily. They even do donut cakes and a super size donut with a days notice. Never disappoint!

Doughnuts were great. Selection was limited, but unique and everything was quality. For the price you can not beat it and the service was friendly and helpful.

A wonderful lovely owned and operated donut shop. Great coffee and a good variety of donuts to choose from. Get them while theyre hot because theyre open from 6am until sold out!

Great selection of cake and yeasted donuts. Always tempted to try one of their Giant Donuts. I buy a dozen D&L treats for friends and family whenever they visit from out of town.

So excited to have good donuts in the area! Both the cake and yeast donuts are great—especially the chocolate creme stick and powdered sugar cake donut! Yum.Update-June 2018: The cinnamon stick is also super delicious along with every donut I’ve tried here (most of them).

The donuts here are amazing and reheat well. I dont have a favorite since they are all good. As other people have mentioned, the people that work here are super nice. Definitely stop by early because they sell out quick.

We were visiting Staunton for the weekend and stopped here twice! The first time we got a half dozen, the second time a whole dozen to take home. Delicious donuts, friendly staff, and a great small family business feel. If we are in town again we’ll definitely be back. 🙂

My wife and I came to the area for our honeymoon. The staff is family friendly and owned by wonderful people. Once we told him that it was our honeymoon, they were open to giving us our donuts for free. The donuts are delicious and worth their weight in gold. If you’re in the area, please go see them.

My traditional Saturday morning reward for making it through the week! Though, if I must confess, I usually stop during the week at least once as well!! LOVE the maple donuts and the apple filled with maple topping, but I have enjoyed all of the flavors!

BEST DONUTS IN TOWN!!! Just simple, solid, tasty donuts. Not too sweet, both the cake donuts and yeast donuts are great. Location is great, the shop is bright, clean, no frills. Easy in, easy out. Card or cash. Yum.

These donuts are excellent! Not only do they make a quality product but I was also impressed but the owners integrity to have saved cash I had dropped in store (found by another customer) and they took the time to send it to my home as I live out of town. Wow! Thank you again!

Super yummy. I was looking forward to a Bavarian/Boston creme, which they dont have, but their creme stick is a delicious substitute. Donuts were light and melt in your mouth. Yum!!!
