Able to buy cured side meat there for cooking beans and making good tasting gravy. Fresh cut meat not processed, & shipped in prepackaged like some big groceries.

Another Valley gem. Been shopping there for 20 years.Sleeper item is their smoked country hams. I used chunks of it when I was thru-hiking on the Appalachian Trail. Makes constant pasta meals delicious. Keeps for weeks (months?) in a backpack with no refrigeration.Sausage patties and links delish not full of water and fat just enough for flavor. Very tasty beef and pork cuts. Very happy to take orders for custom butchering orders for large events. Price competitive with grocery stores. Also some specialty cheese, butter, unusual good quality items, etc.Largely serves longtime local customers. A butcher shop with a limited assortment of grocery items and usual cold beer. drinks, bag ice, LPG refills.Summers on Friday and Saturday local charities set up a hot sandwich grill and baked goodies for fundraisers. Owner very civic minded.

They don’t offer good customer service. They’re not friendly either. Go to Stanley Market where they treat you right.

Great place to go to pick up meat. They have a wide selection with excellent prices. The staff is fast and friendly. Will be back again for sure.

Rude. It seems that every time I call to place an order, that Im bothering them. When I picked up my order they were not very friendly. In fact the man checking out deliberately allowed another customer to go in front of us.

Absolutely LOVE this place. The meat is always fresh, they a country ham biscuits (hamburger bun). We buy all of our bacon from there in the 10lb box. Great place to have lunch. They also have the OLD fashion candies peanut brittle. You will be GLAD you found this place. Sausage is absolutely the best. They people there are very helpful, kind and courteous.STOP IN! NO DISAPPOINTMENT!
