Greatly improved from when it first opened. The auto refill is convenient and I always get a call to let me know when its ready. They also got an emergency supply quickly for me when my prescription needed to be renewed.

Very friendly staff! Definitely going to be an adjustment but it will get better I’m sure. Same great employees as before! We will all have to get used to it together as a community. It’s a new new training for the employees so there are a few delays, I’m sure it will get better

Slow and rude. My daughter had teeth extracted and needed pain medication. I had to wait in the drive thru for over 30 minutes while the worker knew my daughter was in the car with bloody gauze hanging out of her mouth. No apology or empathy, and no sense of triaging patients with more urgent prescription needs.

I’ve tried calling prescriptions in using automated phone system, Walgreens app, and calling (it places you on hold your number #1 in line - till being on hold for almost 5 minutes and you become #2). I was on hold so long - that I drove to Verona while on hold, walked in still on hold (32 min) to see a drive thru associate rushing around, one pharmacist chatting about football from her workstation, and I (assume) the 3rd woman was a pharmacist with an attitude who looked up and never acknowledged me. Finally, the drive thru associate was free and I began my rant.Unfortunately, for the two who pharmacist who tried using, “phone issues” (oh look the phone rings) so one gets the phone and 2nd wants to help me.The conversation continues about the phone once the strawberry blonde gets off phone with 2nd pharmacist while looking at my prescription while I was standing there. A customer walks up and I hear we are under staffed, long hours and customers in store come first. So.... I go right to her workstation and she picks up the phone. I wait.Again, I don’t care about you being understaffed, long hours, etc. What I care about is customer service, timely prescriptions, and someone to reach for medication questions. I don’t mean to sound cold but I can’t help you with staffing.Needlessly, to say this was the first incident in (Jan) and yesterday made for 3rd (drive-thru with same strawberry blonde pharmacist who feels the need to exaggerate why the prescription wasn’t filled) and walks off. I chose to drive off with no prescriptions and do a face to face, today. So will I use Verona Walgreens ever??? NOI would rather pay out the pocket before using Walgreens in Verona. (NO other local Walgreens involved)

Don’t go here to send WESTERN UNION! Three workers have no idea what to do they won’t give you the receipt or tracking number. They told me I don’t need a number for the sender and you do. They said they couldn’t look it up and print the receipt but the other worker was able to the first time. So they just stood their gossiping drinking their sodas. Why have a western union if the workers are so ignorant about the system?

Go somewhere else. This is by far the slowest pharmacy in town. Either the drive thru is randomly closed or the staff have no care in the world how slow they work. I wish Rays Pharmacy never closed.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. It seems the staff are doing the best they can, but, there hasn’t been a single time in the past six months I haven’t had an issue with a refill. I’ve never left a review like this but as I sit here, waiting, after a week of trying to get through and do this by phone (multiple times calling with 20+ min wait times), being told they’d have it ready “tomorrow” and here I sit, a week later. Waiting in a chair after waiting at the desk for about 20 minutes. I think it’s officially time to switch.

When shutting down one pharmacy and having customers from that pharmacy merge over to this one I would think that they would’ve been more prepared to handle the amount of people they knew would be coming. This is not the staffs fault as far as what I can tell. They all seem to be working as fast as they can. Higher management of Walgreens is totally to blame. The max I’ve seen behind the counter is 4 people. I’ve only been in there maybe three times since merging over so maybe there is usually more but 4 people is not enough to handle all that has been thrown at them. The few times I have been inside I’ve had to wait in a line to get to the counter. Not a small line either. This morning I had been on hold for 25 minutes to speak with someone in the pharmacy. After being on hold that long they tell me they don’t have my medication in stock. REALLY! So Walgreen’s upper management not only have you completely stressed out your staff that’s trying to handle the great amount of people that you knew would be coming you also didn’t make sure you would have enough of the medications that we need.

Its unfortunate that you cant give negative stars. after being diagnosed with influenza b, my prescription was called into this location at approximately 2:00 p.m. For three hours I was told the prescription was being processed and I would get a call as soon as it was done. I finally called again only to find out that the pharmacy was closed! Its the first time Ive used this pharmacy since it switched from a rite aid to the Walgreens. It will certainly be the last time I use them. If you decide to give them a try, go straight to the shift supervisor, Teresa. She was helpful.

Walgreens in Staunton is the slowest pharmacy I’ve ever visited. The staff is always pleasant and I do feel bad for their workload, however this company needs to make some changes. On average I wait either in the line of cars or line of people a good 20 to 30 minutes every time I go to pick up my pre-filled prescription. Come on Walgreens either get these people some help or open the Rite Aid back up on Beverley.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I called in a prescription for my dogs seizure medicine on Sunday. They didnt have it in stock. Fine. We still had a couple of days left. Stopped by after being on hold forever while at the ED myself to drop of a perscription for me and to check on my dogs. Still didnt come in and now I have been on hold for 19 minutes waiting for someone to pick up to see if it is ready today. I thought it would be great having a pharmacy across the street. Boy was I wrong!Edit: Finally got someone on phone only to be told they still did not have my prescription ready.

Walgreens pharmacy in Stuarts Draft Va has been open for several months. Being a suggested pharmacy from medicare I transfer to them. What a mistake. I called in for my prescription and was told they didn’t have my Drs electronic refills. The pharmacist I talked to said that I needed to call my Dr and have them repeated . I ask why and they said they had just transferred from Rite Aid to Walgreens. I have been getting my prescriptions from supposedly from Walgreens for the past 6 plus months.I hope they can get their act together before I go back to more reliable pharmacy.

Whats the point of calling several *days* in advance to refill your prescription if its never ready when you go to pick it up? Most of the staff there are nice but things are still horribly slow, and one woman is consistently grumpy and rude. They constantly have to fix or change something in the computer when the refill is finally available, which adds even more wasted time. Were slowly moving all our prescriptions over to another pharmacy because were tired of the hassle that is dealing with Walgreens pharmacy.

They are terrible. Rite aid had polite staff and I never had a medication errors .I have had the same error on the same mediction every time I have had it refilled. The staff is very grumpy but I feel sorry for them they seem stressed out and there does not seem enough of them to do the required work. I am sure Walgreens maked more money by shutting down the other Rite Aid, however it did it customers and staff no favors. I am just going to go elsewhere for my prescriptions after 15 years at the Coalter Street Location what a shame.

Vet called in an RX for my dog around noon. I came in around 3:00. Pharmacy manager is talking to another employee behind the counter for about 5 minutes. None of them say Hello or Well be right with you. Finally a different employee comes over to help me. She takes my name, etc etc. Asks if I want to wait or come back to pick up the Rx.They didnt fill the script because they didnt have a profile for my dog. The info the vet sent over had our phone number on it. If you need something before you can fill the Rx, CALL! Why wait until I come in to tell me that Im going to need to come back?!Terrible customer service.

I would like to give it a zero but it’s not an option. I spent almost 30 min on hold with pharmacy to find out why a prescription called in 2 days ago is still in process. Then I got the excuses of how busy they are and short staffed. Horrible customer service. Do not use them is my suggestionAs a follow up I went two days later to pick up perscription, had to wait in drive thru for 10 min and car ahead of me, no one ever came to window so I backed out and went in. Finally got waited on and asked for manager the pharmacy manager said she was the only manager and I asked if she read reviews and she said no. I told her people concerns and she said there was nothing she could do. I asked for a contact above her and she said there was none but finally gave me district managers name and contact. There were bags of perscriptions in bins on floor and the staff could not find anything, very unorganized

Doctor electronically sent my sons prescription in. Waited in the drive thru line for 20ish mins with 2 cars in front of me and a total 45 mins after the Rx was sent, they tell me itd be 30 mins so i decided to come back in the evening to pick it up. Waited in the line 3 hours later for a good 25 mins just to be told it wasnt ready yet. Waited 10 more minutes and they brought it to me. The service is slow and it seems rather hectic in the pharmacy. They have to clean up their act and get things straight before Ill be coming back.

Walgreens just bought out and took over my local Rite Aid. I went to pick up my prescriptions and was told that Walgreens just wiped all the accounts when they took over and didnt refill my meds. I guess they didnt want to keep all of the old rite aid customers. As soon as I can Ill be changing pharmacies.
