Stefan is the best if your old or new Volvo needs service. Knows his stuff and reasonable prices. Fair and honest-tough to find in the auto repair world.
This is where I bought my Volvo S40. This is where I come for maintenance every single time. This is the place to be, with your car. Stefan is great. In fact, he is the best Doctor for my car. Highly recommended. 5☆.
Very highly recommended. Great diagnostician. Good quality work. Honest. Great communication.
Service is great! Stefan is very honest. I recommend him to all.
I have an 07 S40 and the check engine light came on a couple of weeks ago. I took the car in and Stefan ran the diagnostics and quickly determined that it was a faulty fuel sensor. He replaced it the same day and gave me a loaner car. The level of service at Scandia is superior to a more expensive Volvo dealer. I like the customer service and the honesty of the owner. Because of my positive experience I decided to replace the timing belt (overdue) and the water pump. I would really recommend Scandia Pacific Volvo to any of my friends.
They wanted to charge me for a battery and labor 227 and still plus taxes and that was just the start they haven’t even checked the rest of the car. What got me upset I got back my car with black marks and asked what happened they never answered me so becareful if you leave your car overnight with them. I DON’T TUST THEM!
Scandia Pacific makes it worth owning a Volvo. Lots of crooks out there. Do yourself s favor and call Stefan.
It always difficult to find a good Volvo mechanics took my Volvo XC90 It always difficult to find a good Volvo mechanics outside of Volvo dealerships. My XC90 has been served by Volvo dealerships in both SoCal and Las Vegas areas. The dealership did good jobs but the costs were very high. By searching Google Map, I found Scandia Pacific Automotive, which is not far away from my place. I made reservation with Nery, who is the front-desk manager, a very nice person and very efficient. Chris, the owner and the chief mechanics, was a cheerful young man who had years of experience on BMW and worked at Tesla in the past. When I asked his experience with Volvo, he told me although he just started to work on Volvo since early 2018 (less than 6 months when I brought my car to his shop), but both BMW and Volvo are very similar mechanically and he assured me he could do the best job. After check the status of the Volvo throughly, he found a tiny leak at the engine’s vacuum pump. He showed me the problem by using a mirror under the pump. He told me the leak was very small and I didn’t need to fix it right away if I choose not to. I could wait until next oil change or even longer. He also mentioned that it would be cheaper and equally proper if he simply replaced the faulty seal instead of replacing the Pump. I did know the pump had a problem through another mechanic a few years back. The other mechanic told me that I could either wait until the pump failed or if I choose to replace the pump— the cost was quoted at $1600~$1800 plus labor. I told Chris if the price was right and he could do it within the same day, I would be okay to go along with the fix. Chris explained to me that the repair process and all the works could be done around 5 pm. In the mean time Nery got the seal and quoted me a good price. So we agreed to proceed. Then to my surprise, Chris offered me a Uber ride home so that I did not need to wait in his shop for the next 7 hours. Around 5 pm Nery ordered a Uber to take me back. All the material and labor costs were less than $650—what a great service. I checked the car after going back home and all were in good condition. I rated Scandia Pacific Automotive a solid 5 and encourage people to take their Volvo to the shop and find out the outstanding work themselves.By the way, Chris took over the place from Steven early this year. I dont think Steven is working there any more--but I could be wrong.
This is the BEST Volvo repair guy you could ever meet. Reasonable prices, reliable repairs.
I took my 1996 Volvo 960 station wagon to this place, which was stalling on idle . Mr. Stephone the owner told me, that my car need throtle body work. as the estimate was OK, I told him to go ahead and take care of it. When I got my car back, the air pump was left loose in the car. I still had the problem with stalling. I had to take the car to other mechanic who made stalling problem better by doing some adjustments. I requested refund or discount as I wasted all my money and problem was not resolved. But all Mr. Stephone did was, to install the air pump back whch he left loose, and refused to give any refund. I will not go to him or refer him to any one.
