I had the worse experience this morning the manager was very rude and nasty to me this morning throwing keys at me and just being down right nasty tried to charge me double till I said something than he go an attitude about that saying that I can give the rental back and that he don’t trust my kind because I correct Ed him for the way he was talking to me a women and tried to charge double. What does I don’t trust your kind mean (African American) I was totally disgusted by my experience and can’t believe the way that I was treated this morning I’m very upset with this company and disappointed I will never recommend this place to anybody me of color you will be treated wrong just cause the color of you skin and the sad part is my kids heard these insults!!!

Made my rental appointment online the night before and they were ready to go when I arrived. It was a quick, simple process with no major difficulties. I returned the truck after hours using the web link they provided for that purpose. I had no problems here so Id consider coming here again for rentals.

The general manager Alex, was very professional very courteous Kama and ferry knowledgeable. Anytime I ran into a logistical issue on my side he would provide a solution. If I memory need Au haul and Im in town I will definitely use this location.

They were nice speaking, but my 9:00 appointment that they told me would take 30-45 minutes took 2hrs and 30 minutes. When I came up to ask them if it was ready after 45 minutes they said they hadn’t even touched it yet. All it was for was a wiring installation on an SUV. I’ll just do it myself next time rather than sit in their waiting area for the most part of a Saturday.

My boyfriend rented a truck for 2 days and it was so dirty inside, candy wrappers, animal hair and it smelled like smoke. I rent a Penske truck about every week for work and they are clean. U-haul needs to step it up.

I had a appointment today at 1pm showed up at 1215 to have a hitch installed on my 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan waited 3 hours all to be told they broke one of the bolts and they can’t put my hitch on very bad business practice don’t ever go there

2.5 Stars.Made a reservation over the phone, then spent 39 minutes at the location while whats his name figures out the computer and you repeat everything you believe that you already accomplished on the phone.Vehicles are filthy, so take Lysol, Clorox, something. Your welcome.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I canceled a Doctors appointment to arrive ON TIME for my 10:30am hitch installation. I arrived early only to find out the person scheduled ahead of me was 45 minutes late! U Haul kept this person in front of me, totally screwing my schedule! They didnt pull my vehicle into the bay until 2 hours past my scheduled time! Maybe Ill send the owner an invoice for wasting my time! This will be the last time I use U Haul of Springfield, Ohio for anything! Deserves ZERO STARS in my book! Ended up waiting 3.5 hours!!! 😡

I use these guys every time I have to move stuff. They are professional and do not overcharge unnecessarily like some rental companies.The trucks are easy and fun to drive (automatic transmission) and if you simply return the truck the way you got it; you avoid extra charges.I usually sweep out the back, re-fold & stuff the cover blankets, and get the gas back up to where it was when I rented it.

The assistant manager is so rude. I was over charged and when I tried to speak to her about it I couldnt even get a word out without being cut off. The woman should NEVER be aloud to deal with the public! I do NOT recommend anyone getting a rental truck through this company. They are literally robbing people! Im still waiting to hear from the general manager.... Penske will definitely be a better choice yo anyone in the Springfield area!!!!!

This was the best U-haul experience I have ever had. There were two employees present on what was a cold, icy morning. I believe Chad was the one working the desk. He was very polite, competent, and helpful. The other employee, cleaned the ice from the windows and warmed up the truck. Ive definitely had bad experiences at other U-haul locations. We were on our way quickly and without trouble. The truck was very new and clean.

Hassle free. And again got a upgrade size truck due to the one I ordered was not in.Always better bigger. Truck was rough riding but gave 4 stars just because it for the job done with very little stress.

We rented two storage units after our move from Tennessee. While unloading our uhaul into said units I noticed roaches on the floor and walls and mentioned them to a lady who was loading a storage unit as well. I asked the owner and he said they sprayed and had roach traps. Fast forward a few days and were unloading at our new house we seen ROACHES in my belongings. In my dressers, bags with my childrens clothes and boxes with my kitchen items. Ive called all week, multiple times and have yet to hear back from anyone. I have yet to unload any boxes or bags out of fear of finding more and causing an infestation. I can not and will not deal with bugs of any kind. We have had to spend money on new clothes and essential kitchen items along with other household necessities as we cant unload what we already have. To say Im a little pissed off is an understatement. Do not use this storage facility unless youre prepared to find roaches in your belongings.-edit 08/17/18Customer service contacted the regional manager and said I should expect a phone call soon. 🙄

Ive had wonderful experiences with U-Haul, this one in particular, has incredible customer service. They were very accommodating. I highly recommend them!

Decent selection and decent prices, and you are given a decent amount of time on a single day rental (I dont know what its like for more than that because single day rentals are all I have ever done)... But the man I dealt with wasnt the least bit personable. Never said anything more than what he absolutely had to, which was pretty much just the price and time it had to be returned. Not even a thank you! If not for this, I would give 4 stars... The place is still small and cramped, and there was no indication of public restrooms, which I feel there should be considering its a moving service... Customers may need to relieve themselves after a long trip!

I called and someone named Joyce answered, i asked the price of a car dollie & she wanted to know my age, if i own my home, what day i changed my underwear & if my Granny was alive smh . . . Im kidding about the questions but seriously she asked a hundred questions just to get a quote!!! I told her i just need a price & could she just give me a price?? SHE HUNG UP ON ME !!!! So i called back and a nice guy named Coty answered & gave me the quote . When i told him about the Lady he said it was probably the call center smh . I only gave 1 star because COTY was so nice & helpful 😊 i will update after i get my dollie .

Incredibly poor customer service. I requested a installation of a hitch. A young man by the name of Dakota informed me it took two days to schedule the installation. I thought this odd since they had the hitch in stock. We made an appointment for Wednesday at 6 p.m. . Apparently everybody leaves before then that might be able to install the hitch. The manager was unavailable and did not answer his phone. The president essentially told me to go pound sand that there was nothing he could do. He did not offer any discounts or any help for my trouble. He offered to reschedule the installation at a time that was not possible for me and then had the nerve to tell me that I was not cooperative what a mistake to depend on these very undependable people.

Horrible from minute I walked in. Was told many different things about my rental. Called to extend the time I had it and the lady said i never picked the truck up and the contract was cancelled even though I was in the truck at the time of the call. Was supposed to get a call back from the GM. Took a few days and then he said he would call back and never did. Horrible customer service! They wouldnt even show me where the truck was and just threw me the keys and made me carry out the moving blankets and dolley rented instead of helping me!

The truck was very clean and the employees were very efficient. Good experience.

The worst experience you could ask for! Not only did they charge the wrong account but when I tried to contact someone about it I was sent to a call center. They told me the supervisor of the store would give me a call to help me out and he couldnt even take the time to call me, instead he sent me an email and then didnt reply back to the 2nd email I sent. I called for help again to get in contact with the supervisor and they sent him a message with my name and number to get a hold of me and yet again no call from him (Brett Massie). Very unprofessional!!!! Then within the following days I was charged a second time by them which cause my account to overdraw with the total of $420 that they took from me. So once again I reached out to them and was told if I took this reference number I could give it to my bank which is what they needed to re-inverse the 2nd amount charged to me. Well that turned out to be a lie. My bank informed me that information was in fact incorrect. They were just giving me a run around. Currently still waiting to get my money back for the double charge. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND A COMPLETE RIP OFF!!!

They told my husband 2 months ago they were mailing a 25 dollar check to him for the return deposit and he never got it. I dont think he will ever get anymore trailers from them.

Clerk was very helpful. Quick easy process.

We got a call from them and called back; they told us that they were not the location we should be calling and were extremely rude about it.

It was progessional and they are all very helpfull

Called two hours ahead of pick up time to make sure they had the trailer I needed and they assured me they did. Drove over an hour and when I got there they didnt have the trailer. Thanks once again Uhaul.

I think its BS that it says $19.95 on the truck but it actually costs you $100. If you love to waste money its the place to go.
