Just completed a move and couldn’t be move pleased with the service I received from Jason & Chris. They moved fast, handled everything with care and never took a break even when I tried to get them to. They were very responsive to my requests and couldn’t have been nicer. I have known the owner, Scott for years and would always come back to him if I ever need another move. I know I can count on him.

We used Powerhouse Moving for our cross-town move and they were FANTASTIC! I have never seen two harder working men than Jason and Chris! They were so polite and took every precaution with all of our belongings! I had moving quotes from a few other companies and Powerhouse fees are a very good value. I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking for conscientious and hard-working movers at a reasonable price.

I had a pleasant experience with these movers. I have used movers a couple times before and they were the best thus far. They arrived on time and moved all the items promptly and securely and they did not leave one scratch on my freshly painted walls. Their price was very reasonable too.

I dont usually leave reviews on sites, but in cases of extremely good or bad experiences I do, and in this case, Powerhouse Moving was an extremely good experience. We had a rather sudden and stressful move because our previous landlord is selling their property. Moving is never easy, but especially not after one family member is recovering from surgery and 3 family members are in school full time. The staff at Powerhouse moving made this process so easy. The estimate was really affordable and fair, the staff was a pleasure to work with and definitely made this less stressful for us. The move in process was perfect, and the movers took time to make sure our stuff wasnt damaged and was in the right place for us to unpack it and put it together. They were friendly and professional and fast, even though it was pouring rain and lightning out. We will definitely be using them again and will recommend them to anyone who needs movers. A++++++++

We had previously used this moving company and had a fantastic experience. When we moved for the second time it was the polar opposite. When they arrived at our house late, they could not get the ramps to pull out from their truck. They worked on that for almost 45 minutes. I asked them if they were billing us for that time and they said yes. I called the phone number for their business and was told the owner would call me back. They finally got the ramps to come out and then they stood around talking and not loading our furniture and billing us for all this time. I called a second time to their office to lodge a complaint about the move. The owner ended up showing up in person and helping the movers. He told us we would not be charged for the time the truck was not working properly. We thought that was very nice of him, but what he failed to tell us was his plan to get that money back. When they finished unloading at our new place he told us our bill amount and it was $250 more than what we were originally quoted. He explained that he did not bill us for the time the truck was broke down but was billing us for his time. He made a point of telling us that his rate is higher than a normal movers rate but he was only charging us for another mover at the regular rate. Mind you, we did not ask for him to help the movers, nor were we told before hand there would be an additional charge. He took that upon himself and then billed us for it. We had to wipe out our entire checking account just to be able to pay him the extra money. I tried to reason with him but he was very rude and refused to back down in any form or fashion. I would not recommend this company. Its sad that their business has changed because it used to be a very good moving company.

We used Powerhouse on July 21st, 2018. Matt and Randall did an amazing job! These two gentlemen were very professional and polite. We will surely recommend them and use them again in the future! Took them under 2 hours to unload a full 26 foot straight truck. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up from our family! Thanks guys!!We re used them when we moved out 3 months later. I spoke to Scott and requested the same movers and he said not a problem. However, needless to say. It didn’t go well! They managed to not listen to a thing I said and damaged over $9K in property. Scott has been very unprofessional about it. I had emailed several times with NO response, and no response is a response! Such a shame!If you use them, request a back ground for the employees as we had one with a public criminal record!! Not the type of people I want to trust my belongings to.

Called them up and ask where they are since google still had their old location. Guy told where they are and say he has been trying to get goggle correct for months. I did it in 15 mins (your welcome) Drove by the so called place. No name on the door and two trucks with flat tires all around. Lol. They might be a good company but first looks are important.

I would highly recommend using this company for your move! They did a great job and their timing was impressive! You will definitely get the experience you pay for and more!

These people are awesome! Worth twice what they charged! Trusted them to move my dad when he downsized. Move an entire house into storage in a day. Moved it back out when he bought his next house. And it was heavy furniture, all the tools, lots of heavy stuff. Very efficient and careful. I give their name to everyone and so should you!

They were amazing! They moved us from a second floor apartment in 90 degree heat to our new house in 2 hours! They were kind and careful. I would recommend them to anyone!

I used this company in July 28 2020Very disappointed with the serviceTook 4 hours to move large items 5 miles due to smoke breaks, rearranged truck 3 times and no motivation seemed like the was milking the clock for money $$$$I call to voice my concern with no call backI would Not recommend!

Aaron and Tyler of Powerhouse Moving took care of our move and did an excellent job. It was the day after Christmas, so an inconvenient time for all involved. I was surprised at how hard they hustled, moving fast and carrying stacks of boxes. I expected them to take breaks... nope. Nothing broke, and I always expect a couple casualties. I would ask for them both again. Thanks again guys.

I tried to call for 2 days. No answer and voicemail full so couldnt leave a message. Really wanted to use them. Will have to use another compny because now I doubt their reliability.

Never will use them again. 2 trucks were suppose to show up but only one. We had everything in 3 car garage and some in walkout basement by the door they could pull up to. We went to closing on old house and new one. When we were done we went to new house thinking they would be close to done. It had been 4 hrs. When we arrived they were half way unloaded. Most was on porch. Then they told us that if they made a second trip they would chatge double what the company said it would cost for complete move. Then told me the garages are done and just a lil in basement. I drove over with my trailer and only half of harage was done and nothing in basement had been touched. Luckily new owners gave us extra time. Sadly i had to rent a moving truck and since it was a weekend moved it by my self. Never heard back from company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! 1st off, both of them showed up 20 minutes late, and were intoxicated, and REEKED of alcohol! Within 2 minutes of entering my apt, one of them fell backwards and almost broke my tv. They ended up taking over 5 hours to move a SMALL amount of the equivilent of 1 bedroom apt. Charged me over $500. They literally took over 20 minutes in between loads up the stairs. Once i confronted them and said i was calling there manager, they were mysteriously done within 15 minutes. They also had the nerve to ask me to pay them in cash so they could get paid that day. As if that was not bad enough, they told me they sat a box off the truck that seemed damp. I was like yea, it is my bathroom stuff (DUH!) well, they didnt take it back inside, and left it out, and it was thrown away either by them or a neighbor. Everything together including my toothbrush (phillips) was over $200. The receptionist said she would call me back, never did. I am reporting them to the BBB, and my advice, is DO NOT USE THESE SCUM BAGS!

I had a bad experience. I reported them to the BBB for over billing, damage, and stolen property. I wanted the BBB to know and I want you to know.

In the process of moving my 97 year old mother, I interviewed several state to state moving companies, got a couple of quotes an a lost signed a contract. I would have had to work with their schedule, always had more than one person in each company to deal with and found that prices changed from one conversation to another. No one wanted to come to the apartment to see what needed to be moved, in general trying to work with any of the companies was time consuming and complex.I found Scott Pratts company, Powerhouse Moving in a phone directory near to where mom was moving from. From the start I was surprised at how easy it was to work with him. He came to the apartment, looked and what needed to be moved, gave me an estimate based on time and labor for the move (he was within the range of the bigger companies), answered all my questions, etc. Showed up on time for the move, moved a 1 bedroom apartment into his truck in about 1 ½ hours, took some extra things I had not been able to fit into my truck; kept in phone touch with me across the state line, stayed to rearrange things once or twice, helped up unload our truck and was exceptionally service oriented, helpful and pleasant to work with.Ive moved many times in my life (being an Army brat) and I can say this was probably the easiest, best move I ever experienced. I would not hesitate to unconditionally recommend Mr Pratts Powerhouse Moving company and I would use his company again in a heartbeat; he made this move so easy for us all!

Im not sure how anyone uses this company. After 4 phone calls and one email, we never got any response from them.
