Everything about our experience was wonderful. From the initial quote, where I seriously grilled about best placement and type of unit, Ryan explained the best options for our situation ( we have a very long skinny house ) we went back and forth over a few options and his first impression is what we went with. The installation was a breeze, they gave a window of 0800-0830, showed up exactly at 0800! ( with masks) and got right to work. by lunch they were wrapping things up, cleaning all the areas they had been at and the workers loved our dogs and cats ( huge bonus points from me). For me the most impressive thing is the quality backed by a 12 YEAR warranty and finding every energy saving rebate possible

We contracted with The Heat Pump Store for a commercial application adding a dual mini-split system to provide air conditioning to a dental office in the Park Building, Coos Bay. It was a difficult installation requiring line set installation in very limited space, and the crew assigned to the project performed the work with no complaints. Project was completed on-time, and the dental office was left clean and undisturbed. All parties were extremely satisfied with the quality of the installation and with the professionalism demonstrated throughout the process.

I actually had two ductless systems installed in May of 2017 in our duplex. I always meant to leave a positive review because they were all so great. I never did :(. Recently I was looking for something and came across the paperwork and thought...’better late than never’. Kind of cool (no pun intended) to report that 2 years into it, the systems are working great with no issues! I had shopped around quite a bit and The Heat Pump Store had the best deal and service around. The added bonus was how kind and helpful they were. So happy we chose them and would highly recommend them to others!

Have done business with this customer before and have been happy with service.Had an appointment today that eventually had to cancel for a no showI was told that the person would show between 8-12I called at 10 asking when the technician would show up I was told in about 30 minAt noon I called and canceled the appointment to an irate person on the phone.Was told the tech was on the way but at this point I refusedI was then told it was “company policy” to make 4 hour time blocks for service from this irritated person.I informed them that I was being much more considerate to them than they have been to me by calling and canceling before the tech traveled to location andknocked on an empty house door.I also informed them simple communication could have stopped this from occurringHaving to take 6 hours off of work for a 2 hour service call doesn’t make sense. Effectively doubles cost of service (6 hours off work plus service bill)A few things they didn’t know.I have worked in mobile repair for 30 years (just not in hvac) and know they should have communicated better (and so do they especially after I called at 10)The reason for service was I am selling this house and making sure everything is in excellent condition.The next house I am buying has baseboard heat, and one of the first improvements is going to be ductless heat pumps. I am not using this company at this point.Final note Please remember that your customers time is just as valuable as yours and your company.

For the estimate, Rick arrived ON TIME. Within 20 minutes he gave advice on the appropriate unit, he took measurements, he presented a figure, I made the deposit. On the appointed day, Mark and the electrician appeared ON TIME. They completed the job five hours later, just as predicted. Mark was professional, efficient, and courteous. The installation is neat and clean - indoors and out. All wires and hoses were concealed in conduits, the holes were cut and sealed neatly. There was no trash left behind. Mark budgeted a lot of time to explain the operation of the unit. The unit pumps out more than enough heat, and it does it silently! As a former building contractor I give the Heat Pump Store the highest possible marks.

At first when we were deciding on the configuration of our system it was a little hard to make connection with our sales person, though we knew he was working out of the area in places that had no phone coverage. When he got coverage again he made up for it by answering all of our questions and changing our system everytime we changed our minds about something. The install took place quickly after we committed and the installers worked hard and fast in some hot weather up in our attic. We are very pleased with the system we chose, its a very comfortable cooling system and I have no doubt the heat will be equally comfortable.It was a good process overall and we really liked the people we worked with. The Heat Pump Store recently installed a Daikin 2 head system in our home. Dealing with this company was a pleasure. They came out and surveyed our home, listened to what we wanted to achieve, made recommendations and offered a bid. After thinking about it and doing more research, we wanted to change the proposed plan which they did without any quibble.The guys who did the actual installation were very friendly, informative and competent. They met some challenges since our home is about 50 years old but they found ways to get the job done. It only took about 5 hours.Its been about 4 weeks now and we couldnt be happier. We experimented with different temperature settings and once we found our comfort level we have never had to think about the system again. Temperature is uniform throughout the house with no cold spots. This is a huge improvement over the baseboard heaters in every room that all had to be set individually. We expect our winter electric bills to be substantially less and we are looking forward to a cool house during the summer.I highly recommend The Heat Pump store with no reservations whatsoever.

The installation took one day and they were very attentive to make sure I understood how to operate the system. They even painted the outside lines to make sure they matched the building color. The Heat Pump Store made adding a heat pump to my condo so easy! They took care of EVERYTHING, including selecting an appropriate heat pump, installing the units, and handling all of the rebate and permit paperwork. It was a pleasure working with the whole team. The heat pump itself is a wonderful piece of technology. I was using a couple of space heaters before having the heat pump installed. Now, instead of sometimes waiting literally all day for one large room in my place to get marginally heated, my entire condo is nice and toasty in about 15 minutes - at significantly lower cost. I thought I was only going to need my heat pump for winter heating, but as I write this the temperature outside is headed for 102 degrees; I am very happy to have my heat pump as an air conditioner for which it is equally effective. I could not be happier with my purchase from the Heat Pump Store!

The Heat Pump Store was very responsive as we planned our ductless heat pump. We waited a few months before making the final decision and they were quick to respond and get us on track under the 2017 state deadline. Scheduling and installation was easy and straightforward. The Heat Pump Store completed all of our paperwork for our tax credit and EWEB rebate. They were excellent to work with!

We shopped round. No over sell. Just flat out less expensive for the same great Diakin heat pump.

Also gave me the completed paperwork to file for the state refund/rebate, and everything worked out perfectly. Would recommend.UPDATE: Just had them out after two years to do maintenance on my mini-splits (2 outdoor compressors, 3 indoor units (heads)).They did a stellar job. Todd, the rep was lucid, explained everything clearly - technology, maintenance, prevention & gotchas, tailored to my knowledge/interest level. Everything I wanted to know (as a tinkerer, I had some questions!). He was thorough and competent. He identified and fixed a couple of small issues. The units are working better (one indoor unit was spending too much time in defrost mode - fixed!). I learned how to perform various additional upkeep tasks myself (beyond just washing the indoor filters), and things to be on the lookout for. Units are now clean and well maintained. $294 for everything clean and in tip-top condition. No gouging, additional charges or BS. A different reputable HVAC company wanted a whopping *$450+* for the same maintenance which also included disassembly/cleaning the refrigerant coils of mold, which was absolutely unnecessary in our case! That other company does it whether needed or not, and charges for it.The Heat Pump Store does that additional service, only if necessary, after the maintenance/inspection. Further, that other company had an outrageously long *2 month* lead time - and we need these units working now and all the time. The Heat pump Store scheduled me the visit only 1wk after I called. Good work for a fair price. Will definitely continue getting service from The Heat Pump store in the future. Theyve been A+ twice now - e.g. both installation and maintenance. Have worked w/4 people now - Rick the local owner, and 3 service people - all great.
