This place is fantastic!! We’ve gotten ice cream from here several times and have really enjoyed every flavor we have tried. My all time favorite is the banana pudding, but everything is great!! When it came time for our daughters first birthday, we knew we had to try out the cakes from here. Spoiler alert: they did not disappoint!!! They have ice cream cakes and omg it was AMAZING! Everyone at the party raved about the cake and kept asking where we got it from.Thanks so much Paradise for the beautiful cake and we will definitely be back for more ice cream and cake!!

Huge shout out to the awesome team at Paradise Ice Cream! My husband and I were planning to hang out with some close friends we had not seen in months and thought ice cream was a perfect dessert option on a hot Virginia summer day. Paradise is amazing....it was so easy to order ahead on their website and pickup at the expected time. They also offer delivery. This is our second time sampling amazing ice cream from Paradise and we also tried a slice of their chocolate peanut butter cake. Everything is soooo good. The ice cream has that slow churned creaminess and the cake was super moist. I really like the Mint Chocolate Madness, but the chocolate brownie, smoked bacon apple crumble, and key lime pie flavors are delightful as well. The ice cream cookies are also a must try.....oreo or chocolate chip stuffed with one of three awesome ice cream options....you seriously cannot go wrong here. Their team is super friendly and helpful as well. You dont even need to get out of your car....they know when you pull up and come right out to greet you. Definitely give Paradise your business; you wont regret it; youll just be addicted....lol. Thanks for another great experience; well be back! :-)

Amazing! The prices are extremely reasonable for being home made, unique flavors. The funnel cake was delicious. We had the bourbon pecan pie and it was just the right amount of boozy yum! A hidden gem for sure. 👏

I love Paradise and am sad it took a pandemic to learn about it. I love supporting a local ice cream maker (it really is my weakness as despite the pain of lactose-intolerance, I always have room and appetite to eat it). The staff is personable, friendly, and very attentive. Yes you can get it all delivered via 3rd party vendors like UberEats but my fam loves driving there and enjoying their ice cream sandwiches and funnel cake in the car. When I had my birthday, my wife got my cake from there which brought all of us immense joy. Delicious!!! Support local!

Our favorite dessert place in the area for sure. The cappuccino cookie ice cream is amazing. The cookie sandwiches A+ and the cakes are amazing. I know they likely have to make the cakes in advance so that’s why they freeze them but I do wish some of them were not frozen- but once defrosted they’re incredible. Owners and staff are incredibly nice and great as well. Local place we will always support

Our first visit but definitely not our last! Store front was a little unusual due to the location but someone came out to greet us in seconds of us pulling up. Car side service! He was so friendly and the service was very fast! And most importantly, the ice cream is DELICIOUS!

This family owned ice cream shop is amazing. They made a beautiful tasty custom cake for my sons birthday. Their ice cream cookie sandwiches rival Dee Dee Resse for any UCLA alumni out there.

Its OK but certainly not awesome. Chocolate wasnt chocolatey enough and mint chocolate chip was made with cheap chocolate chips that were super hard when frozen versus better chocolate pieces that remain soft.

My wife and a new go-to cream parlor. I got the banana pudding ice cream, and it tastes like pure nostalgia. It’s ice cream that someone would make for themselves, these guys do not skimp on the toppings and fillings.We will be back.

We just had our first experience there today. The employee helping us was super nice and even explained their menu to us since it was our first visit. We had the ice cream sandwiches (chocolate chip and oreo), and I got a pint of mint chip. Everything was delicious, and the kids gobbled their ice cream sandwiches up! We will for sure be going there again. Definitely recommend!

Paradise is new to the individual sales/curbside pick up game but are doing it well! The ice cream was very good! I highly recommend the cookie sandwiches. The store facade looks like an industrial warehouse but they are in there!

The Oreo cake is one of the best cakes I ever had. Honestly I saw this restaurant on Door Dash and searched it up and saw it was A black owned business and I thought is was amazing! I wanted to support. All the sweets I got there was 👌 perfect. I loved the red velvet cake too. The fried Oreos are very good. And mannnn the ice cream, delicious. I can’t wait to eat those sweets again.

So, Paradise ice cream has grown a small part in our hearts. Two visits - everything we’ve tried has been amazing.Ice cream is fresh and delicious tasting. No skimp of ingredients here. Cake slices, while expensive are epically delicious. Ice cream sandwiches are the best I’ve ever had, even as good as the creamery at PENN state.It’s odd. Park outside their windows and they come out to you. Not really posted but once you do it, you’ll be ok with it.Worth a stop. Park in front and do it, you won’t regret it

Stopped here on our drive back to Richmond. As there are limited sweet options in the Springfield area, Yelp finally found a place with funnel cakes which is exactly what I craved.They offered ice cream, cakes, fried Oreos, funnel cakes. You may be confused finding this place as it’s in a shopping center that looks like an old warehouse area with multiple store fronts. After we found them we come to realize it’s a place where they come to your car. You don’t go outside. It’s not a store or restaurant style setting. You don’t see what you’re getting, you don’t get to look at the cream cream and cakes like traditional style places. They bring you a menu, you order what you want, wait in your vehicle and they bring it to you.I ordered the Strawberry Cheese and Cake supreme and the strawberry shortcake funnel cake. I’d rate them both 1/5 stars. The cakes was so frozen you couldn’t eat the strawberry part of the cake. The cake part was soft and I’m sure would have tasted great if it paired correctly.The funnel cake was a no for me!!! First, if you’re going to put topping on a hot item make sure it’s fresh items. The cans strawberries and strawberries juice floating in the bottom of the tray made the whole thing soggy. Try using fresh cut strawberries, a thicker glazed spread with a squirt bottle gracefully not poured on like a cheap food Lion shortcake. It was just lazy!I love supporting local businesses but I also want what I pay for. The service was amazing though.

We just moved to the area and were looking for local businesses nearby to support. We ordered online to pick up and they brought our order right out to the car. We will be ordering again!

Found out about Paradise Ice Cream through Door Dash, where I became obsessed with their treats! Everything Ive had from there is so tasty. Ordered an ice cream cake last weekend and our party could not have been happier. The taste was amazing of course, presentation great, and the staff were so kind and helpful (and patient when I changed my order 3 times!!). Just order ANOTHER cake from Paradise Ice Cream!The apple pie ice cream is my absolute favorite!

Found this place while doing a search for local ice cream shops. A bit off the beaten path in an industrial park, but well worth the trip. Their main business is catering and events, but they are currently doing curbside and delivery as well. Ordered a pint each of the banana pudding and choco mint crunch, and both were delicious! Cant wait to try them again!

Wow! I discovered Paradise Ice Cream yesterday on UberEats. I ordered two cake slices and two pints of ice cream. What a GREAT DEAL for the price. These are high quality desserts. I cant eat like this all the time, but when I want some sweets, I will come here. I normally dont like Smith Island style cakes, but I felt like taking a chance- yummy and rich!!! During this time, we must support local businesses. I will order again from Paradise Ice Cream.

Amazing ice cream!

Wish I could give this place a better review. Maybe if I stopped in their shop the food would be better. Well I ordered on door dash and this is what I experienced.I ordered the turtle cheesecake, oreo looking cake slice, funnel cake.Funnel cake had a pancake, which is what is to be expected. Nothing to really write home about. The cake itself wasnt crispy at all. The cake was way too thick. As the batter was poured you can tell it was way too fast. Everything bunched up to make a under cooked thick fried batter. Execution needs to be worked out. The oil that the cake was fried in should be cleaned as well. I tasted an oil that was probably used multiple times at a high temperature.Cakes overall tasted very artificial.Turtle cheesecake was very cold in the middle. I think it had to be defrosted. The coconut flavor wasnt welcome. The coconut was very artificial and left a weird/ unpleasant after taste. Freshness and taste is where this dish fell short. The coconut over powered everything.The oreo cake has many layers but lets be honest...its a fancy 2 layer cake. The refrigerated taste came in after a few bites. The cake isnt memorable.Freshness is an issue for me here. The food looks good but doesnt live up to the expectation of my eyes sold me on.My family didnt finish anything and decided to toss everything, so pretty disappointed overall.

This place is a hidden gem in an industrial park that normally does catering but now, thanks to Covid-19, is doing what it can to stay afloat. This means selling their outstanding ice cream in smaller quantities (at least a pint). I had the best ice cream sandwich EVER. Friendly service. Try it out, NOW!

We got 3 different flavored pints to go; 2 ice cream and 1 sorbet. Im conflicted about the ice cream, but mostly because Ive been spoiled by gelato! The ice cream was good in taste and texture. In fact, if youre NOT seeking out the cement-like feeling in your stomach after eating 6 eggs in a gelato, this is perfect. My son loved the mango sorbet too. Service was EXCELLENT. We will definitely be back.

Worked here for three summers while in high school and before college. Outstanding doesnt begin to describe how delicious their ice cream is. Quality service all around.

I just went to a catered event that featured Paradise Ice Cream and down home dinner food the Paradise owners catering service prepared. The cookies and cream, strawberry, and vanilla were all to die for. (Yes, I had some of each.) They do catering in the slower season -- giant BBQ wings, grilled salmon, and grilled chicken breast were perfectly done, their slaw and salad were fresh and bright tasting, and their typical burgers and dogs were juicy and tasty. This was a big sports team event held in an outside pavilion, and it came off beautifully -- the perfect combination of elegant and casual. Lots of adults were using their fingers and loving the food, and everyone left stuffed. Bravo, Paradise!
