I was on a quest to embroider a medium size cargo bag for my nephew that graduated from a Fire/Rescue Academy. I looked at a few places in the area and decided on Embroidme of Springfield. The owner was very helpful and the cost to have the Firefighter Maltese and his name stitched on the bag was very reasonable. I recommend Embroidme of Springfield, VA. I will use their services again.

Excellent fast service, little crazy prices but excellent products and service

I went here on Monday November 6th (not a holiday) at 9am and they werent open yet. I waited until 9:10 and texted the number on the door, five minutes later I got a text back saying they were closed today. There was a note on the door saying theyd be closed Saturday but not Monday. I get that things happen such as staffing problems, family emergencies, etc. But at least let people know so they dont waste their time. Thats not how you run a business. If this is their level of apathy, Im not going to trust them with my business. There are simply far too many other good shops in the immediate vacinity to put up with this. This store has lost my business and my money permanently. I recommend that you avoid them.

I let the owner embroid (in white thread on royal blue) one expensive ($50) shirt, for my business, to see the result. The lettering was 3/4 inches hight in bold lettering, I had four other shirts ready depending on outcome of first shirt. I specifically repeated several times that my name gets misspelled often and I wanted the letters of my first and last name to be more spread out. Well, you guessed it, the letters came out very close to each other and you had to be about 2 feet away or less to make out the letters of my name. This is EXACLY what I didnt want. BIG surprise: there was a visible white thread going from one letter to the next letter; this was for each letter. It took a week to embroid three words. As an aside, in discussing the work before-hand, there were many upon many reasons why certain things, that I wanted, could not be done. Needless to say, the other four shirts will be embroiled elsewhere. WHAT A WASTE!
